==World War II service==
▲{{WikiProject Kentucky|class=start|importance=high}}
Although Breathitt served in the United States Army Air Forces during [[World War II]], no reliable sources found as of yet state that he served overseas in a war zone during the war. More specifically, the sources do not establish [[Wikipedia:Defining|defining]] role in World War II. Accordingly, [[:Category:American military personnel of World War II]] was removed from the article. Semper Fi!
