Pecorini was born in [[Milan]], [[Lombardy]], Italy. He founded, with [[Garrett Brown]], inventor of the [[steadicam]], the Steadicam Operators Association, Inc. (SOA), in 1988. Pecorini moved to the [[United States]] in 1993.
