==History==
Originally a cartoon character Daddy Fantastic was created by the band’s guitarist Wobbly Bob. In September 2003 he formed the band with [[bassist]] Baron Fantastic and [[drummer]] Nimbus the Noodle. After auditioning, lead singer [[Pete Bennett]] in August 2004 he joined the band, under the name of "The Daddy".

Pete Bennett, is the son of well-known rock violinist [[Anne Stephenson]] ([[Marc and the Mambas]]), and was the winner of ''[[Big Brother (UK series 7)|Big Brother 7]]'' on August 18th, 2006.
 
Pete suffers from [[Tourettes Syndrome]], which leaves him swearing, coughing, twitching and grimacing without warning. [[Big Brother 7]] producers were crtiticed for letting a man with such a condition onto the show, saying he was 'vulnerable'.

Daddy Fantastic have apparently been offered a record deal and will now have talks with lead member Pete Bennett as he has become the winner of ''Big Brother'' 2006.
