Hockey Arena (also known as as HA) is an online, browser-based, hockey simulator. The game is available in over 26 languages.

Introduction
Hockey Arena is an online hockey manager where you lead your own team. You fight to promote to the 1st League and tp represent your country in the World League. You have the chance to win the election to become a national team manager and play with the national team on the World Championship. Your opponents are thousands of other people from more than 44 countries. The game tries to simulate the real process of hockey seasons: teams can promote or demote, new players come to the team from junior academies, the players get older and their abilities, influenced by the age, are decreasing. New countries are created on a regular basis and with the growing diversity of the manager community, translation of the game to new languages takes place.
And the most important thing:

Hockey Arena is absolutely free of charge...

Management Decisions
As the manager of your hockey club, you can be very active in managing your team. HA is different from a Fantasy Sports game because you control every aspect of your team that influences results.

It all begins with the personnel you play each game. As manager you must manage player salaries, stadium maintanence costs and more - all within your overall team's economy. To gain the capital necessary to pay for these costs, there are a number of options available. First, at each home game, you gain a certain amount of money for tickets. To guess the correct ticket price, you must correctly evaluate your scouting skills. Every week, your sponsor also gives you $5100 for each fan in your fan club. Its size will increase when your team wins.

Instead of having direct trades like the NHL, players are bought and sold on the market for cash. The highest bid retains the player for future use.

Stadium infrastructure is also an important part of management. There are 6 areas within this realm, starting at 15% and ranging from 0-100%:
# Training Area -- how fast your players train daily
# Regeneration Area -- how fast your players recover from training or playing (higher levels allow them to train at higher levels as well)
# Youth School -- Every two weeks, depending on your youth school's size, you will get randomly generated players to add to your team. These players are age 17-19 with varying abilities and potential for improvement.
# Cheerleading -- Gives you motivation for games
# Scouting -- Allow you to see more accurate values for ticket prices, give more information on players (once scouted) and help judge the difficulty of the upcoming match.
# Marketing -- Helps you sell merchandise for star players and they positively affect fan club size.
