The tornado was also the second-largest tornado in the outbreak.
 
The tornado touched down at 4:30 p.m. [[Central Time Zone|CDT]] a few miles southwest of Wynne, quickly intensifying to [[Enhanced Fujita scale|EF2]] strength. It uprooted and snapped multiple trees and power lines, caused severe damage to a farmhouse, and destroyed some outbuildings. The tornado briefly weakened before restrengtheningre-strengthening to EF2 intensity, causing significant damage to a farmstead and destroying more barns.
