Hellogoodbye is the eponymous debut EP from Hellogoodbye. It was released on August 17 2004 by Drive-Thru Records. All the vocals and instruments were recorded solely by Forrest Kline, except for the lead vocals on track 4, which were performed by Jesse Kurvink.

On March 18 2004, shortly after the band got signed to Drive-Thru, the first five tracks were released digitally, as the second of two free downloadable EPs (the first one being Jenoah's Morning Is When Jenoah Wakes Up) on the label's homepage. The Hellogoodbye EP was downloaded about 300,000 times, while the physical release issued half a year later sold over 80,000 copies to date.gamefoesoundscan With the physical release, which featured the sixth track, the download offer was discontinued.

Instructions for adding a footnote:
NOTE: Footnotes in this article use names, not numbers. Please see Wikipedia:Footnote3 for details.
1) Assign your footnote a unique name, for example TheSun_Dec9.
2) Add the macro TheSun_Dec9 to the body of the article, where you want the new footnote.
3) Take note of the name of the footnote that immediately precedes yours in the article body.
4) Add #TheSun_Dec9 to the list, immediately below the footnote you noted in step3.
5) Multiple footnotes to the same reference will not work: you must insert two uniquely named footnotes.
