Zaza Burchuladze (Georgian: ზაზა ბურჭულაძე) (born 9 September 1973 in Tbilisi, Georgia) is a contemporary postmodern Georgian novelist.

Biography
Zaza Burchuladze graduated the monumental and ornamental painting department of Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.
Since 1998 he has been publishing his stories in Georgian newspapers and magazines and has been a blogger for Radio Free Eorope/Radio Liberty (Georgia).
Translated into Georgian books of Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Daniil Charms, Vladimir Sorokin.
Zaza Burchuladze's books have been translated into English, French, and Russian.
Zaza Burchuladze has often been targeted by Georgian orthodox church followers because of his work and public appearances. His books have been condemned and burnt couple times by groups of religious activists labelling his novels as immoral.
