I object to the use of the F word as the first word of this candidate's statement. Yes, NOTCENSORED and all of that, but these elections should be "family friendly" - i.e., I don't want to have to look at that word every time I come onto the list of nominations. I suggest a simple replacement with asterisks. Rcsprinter123 (post) 14:46, 8 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Rcsprinter123, you should run. We need more people with power issues here. You would be the candidate Wikipedia deserves even if not the one it wants. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.170.50.11 (talk) 01:19, 10 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure what the exact procedure is -- I've amended my statement and removed myself from the main election page and the Candidate guide. Pinging the EC to let me know if there are any steps I missed: Mike V, Mdann52, Guy Macon.  · Salvidrim! ·  14:49, 16 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

  • Hello Salvidrim!, as a fellow contestant, I personally feel that you were (are) a good candidate for ArbCom. I am making this statement purely based on your past work and experience level. I wish you all the best. Cheers, Arun Kumar SINGH (Talk) 14:55, 16 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • "At least now I know for sure that the Arbitrators we will elect will do a far better job than I ever could've." - Ah, "could've"? I'll disagree with you there. Thanks for your part in this election cycle all the same, Salvidrim!. Much respect for stepping up and for stepping down. -Thibbs (talk) 03:06, 18 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
