Daddy Fantastic are an Indie rock band, from England. The character "Daddy Fantastic" was originally a cartoon character created by the guitarist Wobbly Bob, who also created the band. Wobbly Bob formed the band in September 2003 with bassist The Baron and drummer Nimbus. After auditioning, lead singer Pete Bennett joined the band, under the name of "The Daddy". The name "Daddy Fantastic" was formed in August 2004.

Pete Bennett
Pete Bennett, is the son of well-known rock violinist Anne Stephenson (Marc and the Mambas), and was the winner of Big Brother 7.
The Future
Daddy Fantastic have apparently been offered a record deal and will now have talks with lead member Pete Bennett as he has become the winner of Big Brother 2006. [1] Daddy Fantastic are in the midst of a £1 million bidding war between top labels including EMI. [2]
A documentary of the band is currently under development by the BBC.
