Iowa Administrative Code new article content ...

The Iowa Administrative Code (IAC) is the official compilation of all administrative rules promulgated by Executive Branch agencies of the State of Iowa pursuant to the Iowa Administrative Procedure Act (Iowa Code Chapter 17A).

The IAC is organized by the department or agency responsible which promulgates particular rules, with each rulemaking authority being assigned an agency number identifying the rules which it has promulgated. Within each agency number, rules are further categorized by chapter, which identifies the general subject matter and then by rule number.
