Daddy Fantastic is a psychedelic rock band from Brighton, England. Their lead singer Pete Bennett is most recognizable for winning reality television show Big Brother 7 in 2006.

History
Originally a cartoon character Daddy Fantastic was created by the band’s guitarist Wobbly Bob. In September 2003 he formed the band with bassist Baron Fantastic and drummer Nimbus the Noodle. After auditioning, lead singer Pete Bennett in August 2004 he joined the band, under the name of "The Daddy".
Pete Bennett
Pete Bennett, is the son of well-known rock violinist Anne Stephenson (Marc and the Mambas), and was the winner of Big Brother 7 on August 18th, 2006.
Pete suffers from Tourettes Syndrome, which leaves him swearing, coughing, twitching and grimacing without warning. Big Brother 7 producers were crtiticed for letting a man with such a condition onto the show, saying he was 'vulnerable'.
The Future
Daddy Fantastic have apparently been offered a record deal and will now have talks with lead member Pete Bennett as he has become the winner of Big Brother 2006. [1] Daddy Fantastic are in the midst of a £1 million bidding war between top labels including EMI. [2]
A documentary of the band is currently under development by the BBC.
