Preston Pig is an animated children's television series which aired on CITV. It was based on a series of books, published by Colin McNaughton. It was shown at weekdays from 3pm until 3:15pm, on the British television channel CITV. However, since 2011, it no longer airs on the channel CITV. A feature-length film based on the show was released in Spring 2019 in the United Kingdom.

Preston Pig was released on VHS in the United Kingdom in 2000 in Australia, these video tape releases are called Pig School and Ham of the Match, and then on DVD in the United Kingdom. The DVD release of Preston Pig is called Football Champion.

Broadcast

Preston Pig aired on CITV in the United Kingdom. However, the programme itself no longer airs on CITV, but can apparently be found on DVD, VHS and online.

Feature-Length Film

A special feature-length movie, titled The Preston Pig Movie, was released on 22 February 2019 in the United Kingdom. The movie's plot is about Preston Pig and his best friend, Pumpkin, travelling to a race track in Edinburgh, where they have to complete a number of races to be crowned champions. The races themselves are not at all easy, as the pig contestants have to collect acorns, strawberries, apples, hearts and carrots while avoiding obstacles, such as other animals and vehicles as well as other objects like cows, mermaids, pumpkins and haystacks.
