While the Family Guy sketch was humorous,I doubt the contestant actually thought that Trebek would vanish. Nominate this part to be deleted.

Picture
Anyone have a better picture for Trebek? He looks frail and sad in that picture. It doesn’t represent the vibrant host we’ve all come to love. --AWRcore (talk) 01:22, 24 August 2019 (UTC)
Birth name
I removed the suppposed "birth name" of "Giorgi Suka-Alex Trebek" because it is categorically untrue. I can't even imagine where TV Guide got that from. Suka in Ukrainian means "bitch". According to his autobiography, his given name is George Alexander Trebek. ... discospinster talk 20:10, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
- If you look in the talk archives, this has been going on since 2006. I don't know if it's a 4chan-style joke by a group of people, or one severely deranged individual working for 14 years to insert Ukrainian profanity on this page. That would be worth opening up a long-term abuse case and ban that user on sight. The talk page cited this TV Guide page which may be a case of WP:CIRCULAR and under less editorial control than an actual published TV Guide. I think we can safely say that Suka is an obscenity in his parent's language and would not have been his name. Unknown Temptation (talk) 20:22, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
