I am not sure where to make this request, and figured that this was as good a place as any. What I would like to do is make :Category:Articles to be merged after an Articles for deletion discussion sortable or organised by date of deletion discussion. Then I can just come in occasionally and merge the old articles, allowing other editors who are probably more familiar with the topics a chance to merge the more recent ones. I did attempt it myself at one point, but not only did it not work I screwed up AnomieBOT. Pinging John of Reading and Anomie from that discussion. Thanks in advance. :The underlying module is Module:Message box, and I see that it can handle sort keys for categories. You'd need to set a sortkey - for example a date in the format CCYY-MM-DD - in the afd-merge-to template, pass that through ambox and so on. Unfortunately, it's not at all clear from Module:Message box what the parameter name is. --<span style="color:#a80000; background:#ffeeee; text-decoration:inherit">Red</span>rose64 (talk) 09:14, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
