CinemaScore

edit

I'm raising your use of CinemaScore at WT:FILM, as while the site is considered an acceptable reference, I'm not sure how acceptable it is when we can only link to the overall site, not a specific film. Cheers. DonIago (talk) 15:47, 17 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please stop linking to the overall site instead of the film. You are not helping. Freikorp (talk) 22:18, 17 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
Freikorp, it is the only way to link to that website. I would link to the film's specific CinemaScore page, if they had a page for each individual film, but they do not. As I've read from the discussion at WT:FILM, linking to the CinemaScore home page is a reliable source. Plus, there are numerous other pages that I have not edited, that quote a CinemaScore resource in that way (linking to the CinemaScore home page). But, I am open to ideas on how to better quote that reference. Thanks! Bestfilmclips2016 (talk) 22:48, 17 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
In any case, at least do not make additional edits of this nature while there is an ongoing discussion (note- I'm not saying you have made such edits since I initiated the discussion; I haven't looked). Let's get a consensus as to how best to proceed. Thanks! DonIago (talk) 13:45, 18 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your contributions, but please take care and do not include the URL from your mobile browser but instead the regular "desktop version" of the site that most mobile browsers allow you to view a webpage from. Thanks, JesseRafe (talk) 19:10, 17 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your grammar is atrocious. Please stop writing these edits. Pl Ikarusdk (talk) 14:17, 1 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

All you have to do is fix the grammar errors and suggest that I stop writing the edits. There's no need for criticizing me, saying that my grammar is atrocious. Respect begets respect. Besides, one of those recent edits was done by somebody else (2001:630:d0:ed2b:fd98:e26:25b:4955). Thank you for your consideration. Bestfilmclips2016 (talk) 22:37, 1 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Public (film), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Deadline and Standoff (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
