Beluga article in Canadian English

edit

There's a note at the top of the Talk:Beluga whale, the talk page, saying it is in Canadian English, not to be changed without consensus. The article on Date and time notation in Canada says 7 June 1999 and June 7, 1999 are both common in Canada. They don't say June 7th 1999 is common, so I suggest it is better not to use it in that article. Numbersinstitute (talk) 02:23, 24 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much for letting me know! This is my first time editing a Wikipedia page! I changed the format to June 7, 1999.

More data on catches? Suggestion

edit

Thank you for updating the marine mammal pages. Do you have any more recent data on catches? The data tables mostly stop in 2015, and the Beluga data lack large parts of Canada in:

Counts are important to show the extent of hunting. Numbersinstitute (talk) 16:07, 12 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I personally, do not have any more recent data on catches, but I contacted my advisor to approve my revisions, and he might have more recent data. I am currently waiting to hear back from him.
