Use this template and its couple, {{poll bottom}}, to archive talk page discussions.

Usage

Above the discussion, use either:

{{subst:polltop|type=<type>}} <verdict>

• <type> is used when it is not a move proposal.
• <verdict> is one or two words that explains the result of the discussion.

Or:

{{subst:polltop|result=<result>}}

• <result> is a sentence that describes the outcome of the discussion.

Below the discussion:

{{subst:pollbottom}}
