Sales

Can we update the sales for this album? The first source for 12,000,000 is over a year old. This source claims 15 million in sales, and please don't even tell me that's unreasonable, because it isn't. Sales for The Fame include sales of the deluxe edition of The Fame Monster because The Fame constitutes the majority of the music on that product, effectively making it a deluxe version of The Fame instead. That means there were 7 major hit singles promoting these sales, along with a massively successful tour. Plus, various sources, even those used by her own article here, stated her total album sales as surpassing 23 million before Born This Way was released. This wikipedia article talks about just The Fame, not the deluxe version. So, I don't think your source is applicable /: However, as of now, The Fame itself has definitely sold more then 12 million copies. Also, can you show me the "various sources" that state her total album sales have surpassed 23 million before Born This Way was released? I do believe the deluxe version applies here; in all countries where it was released, sales (and shipments for certifications) are attributed to The Fame rather than The Fame Monster. Besides, the source itself mentions only sales for The Fame, and says nothing about the deluxe edition. I suppose it indirectly does, through the association of Bad Romance with The Fame, but I brought up the deluxe just to point out all the promotion going into the sales of the album to stop anyone claiming that 15,000,000 is unreasonable. As for the sources; here are two sources from 7 and 5 days before Born This Way's release, respectively, and two sources from a week or less after the release, before any sales were reported, claiming 23 million album sales for her total. 50.83.82.152 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 21:50, 4 January 2012 (UTC).

Genre

I was thinking that we should change the current genres into subgenres, since they're more specific. There are so many different subsidiaries of pop, dance, and electronic music. Except for "Brown Eyes" the album is mainly electropop and dance-pop oriented. How does everyone else feel about making a change? --Christianrxx (talk) 23:26, 4 February 2012 (UTC)Christianrxx

UK tracklisting

Total time for album

Under the international and Canadian version of The Fame, the total time is listed at 42:21, but with the addition of one iTunes bonus track at 3:24, somehow the total time for the album jumps up to 57:43. Were the versions of the albums themselves different? Captain Gamma (talk) 19:17, 8 January 2013 (UTC)

Money Honey Track listing

I have a different version of "The Fame' called the "Money Honey edition" it has all the tracks from the USA version but in a different order plus it has "Captivated", "Electric Kiss", "[[Bad Romance", and every remix that was on The Remix (Lady Gaga album). It comes on two discs.
