Churston Ferrers is a historic civil parish[1] within Torbay, in Devon, England. It contains the two villages of Churston, a coastal village, and the now larger Galmpton. It is situated in between Paignton and Brixham.

Churston railway station is on the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway. Churston Ferrers is also home to a very well respected grammar school, Churston Ferrers Grammar School.

The village golf club's president is the Welsh former snooker world number one, Ray Reardon. Churston Court Inn dates to the 12th century and is a Grade I listed building. Within the parish, off the Brixham Road, is situated Lupton House, a Palladian Country house.

Cultural references

In Agatha Christie's The ABC Murders, the third murder takes place in Churston.
