Geography

Prospect includes the neighbourhood of Prospect Creek (24°25′00″S 150°25′59″E / 24.41667°S 150.43306°E / -24.41667; 150.43306 (Prospect Creek)).

History

The mobile library service commenced in 2004.[3]

The school was opened on 2 October 1935 [4] and approval was given in 1944 for the establishment of a State School to replace the provisional school in Prospect Creek.[5]

Amenities

Banana Shire Council provides a fortnightly mobile library service at Prospect Creek School.[6][7]
