Commas around appositives

With regard to your comment at ANI that "nobody has ever shown anything about the commas being wrong", I suggest that you look at Apposition#Restrictive versus non-restrictive and, in particular, the second bulleted example in that section, comparing "the television show The Simpsons" with "American daytime drama One Life to Live", which you improperly added a comma to here. If Dickens had written it you might have a valid argument, but it was just another editor who is as wrong as you. Just because someone makes the same mistake as you doesn't mean it justifies your mistake. AnemoneProjectors 23:07, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
