This template is used to facilitate entering Venezuela Census population data. It is based on Template:Historical populations and Template:US Census population. Historical census data at the national, state, municipal, and parish level can be retrieved online.

If you want to display historical populations before 1873, consider using Template:Historical populations instead either for those years or for all the years you want to display.

In this example, the place does not have Census records prior to 1990 so those years are left out and a note was added to indicate the subdivision's relatively recent creation.
