Naheed Nenshi

Naheed K. Nenshi is a Canadian politician who was projected by television networks to succeed Dave Bronconnier as mayor of Calgary, Alberta, Canada on the basis of results from the 2010 Calgary Municipal Election.[1] [2]

Biography

Nenshi was raised in Calgary and was educated at the University of Calgary, holding a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the institution. He also holds a Master's degree in public policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Before running for mayor, Nenshi taught at Mount Royal University.[3]
