Gerardo Alfredo Bruna Blanco (born 29 January 1991) is a Argentinian professional footballer who plays for English side Liverpool as a Attacking Midfielder.He most commonly known as Gerardo Bruna.Bruna began his career at Real Madrid in 2002 but after five years he left to join Liverpool after he turned down a professional contract at his previous club Real Madrid.

Career

Playmaker Gerardo Bruna arrived from Real Madrid in the summer of 2007.The attacking midfielder spent five years at the Bernabeu before deciding his career would be better served at Anfield."My father agreed with me that moving here would be a great opportunity," he said. Bruna has represented both Spain and Argentina at youth level he played for Spain U21 and Argentina U20.[2]He also is part of Liverpool's UEFA Europa League team[3]
