Grindie is a form of music that emerged in early 2006. It is a fusion of indie or alternative and grime music.[1] It was created by two experts on music theory, George Frost and John Travis.[citation needed]

History

Grime producer Wyatt Eaton is one of the main proponents of the genre and also one of the first to release an album containing only grindie tracks, Grindie Vol. 1.[1][2]
