There is no evidence to back up the citation's claims, even the citation uses probable vocabulary which means it is not stating a fact. I provided you with an official government source. State that the name is "occasionally used by Turks", not that it is a "Turkish name" and there will not be a problem. Tag: Undo

It makes it a Kurdish name that, on rare occasions, has been used by some Turks. The statement you are writing on the wikipedia does not match that. If Kurds use the name, "Elif" or "Deniz", that would not make it a Kurdish name! It would make it a Turkish name, sometimes used by Kurds. Stop putting inaccurate information! Tags: Undo Reverted
  • 05:2205:22, 19 April 2024 diff hist −131 Helin (surname)The citation does not mention it as a "Turkish female name". The citation states that it is of Kurdish origin and only in rare occasions has it been used by others in the country in recent years, *possibly* as a resemblance to "Helen", not that it is a Turkish form of it. https://www.ab.gov.tr/files/Basin/2003/Nisan/14%20Nisan%202003/Yeni%20AB%20uyum%20yasas%C4%B1%20-%20ABHaber.doc This official Turkish government source states that "Helin" is a Kurdish name and was included in the name ban.
