Your edits to Paella and Arros negre

[edit]

I view your edits to the above articles as vandalism because citations on both clearly prove you're wrong. I've accused you of sockpuppetry and I've requested protection for the Paella article again. Also, I reverted all of your changes. If you continue making these edits I will also report you for a WP:3RR. If you're found guilty of both sockpuppetry and a 3RR you'll be blocked from editing on Wikipedia for quite some time; perhaps permanently. Moby-Dick3000 (talk) 21:25, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits on Paella

[edit]

Make sure you watch out for the edit-warring on the Paella article. Instead of going back and forth like that, discuss it with whomever you have a disagreement with at Talk:Paella. Thank you, –MuZemike 00:26, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

[edit]

The following citations prove paella is a Catalan word:

The following citations prove arròs negre is part of both Catalonian and Valencian culture.

I don't know what further proof I can provide to back up my points.

Also, it's common knowledge in Spain, including the Valencian Community, that Valencian is a dialect of Catalan [9], thereby making the vast majority of Valencian words Catalan words as well. An analogous comparison would be the difference between American English and British English.

If you'd like to discuss this linguistic issue, please discuss it on the talk page of Wikipedia's Valencian article. Both the Paella and Arròs negre articles are about recipes, not the Catalan language or its dialects. Previous editors have reached the same conclusions. You can verify this by looking through the archives of Paella's talk pages. Here's an example: [10].
