ओपेक(OPEC) (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC)) का गठन 1960 में एक कार्टेल के रूप में किया गया था इस समय 26 देश थे जिसमे से 13 देश बाहर हो गए है और यह देश (शिलारस/पेट्रोलियम) के वर्तमान में उत्पादक 13 देश है और ये देश मध्य पूर्व और अफ्रीका देश के है जो निम्न प्रकार से सम्मिलित है जैसे

(2018 में कतर के बाहर हो जाने के बाद) का संगठन है। इसके सदस्य हैं: सऊदीअरब, अल्जीरिया, ईरान, ईराक, कुवैत, अंगोला, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात, नाइजीरिया, लीबिया तथा वेनेजुएला, गबोन, गिनी, कांगो।
