Live Aid

Live Aid var en rockekonsert som ble holdt den 13. juli 1985. Initiativtakere til konserten var Bob Geldof og Midge Ure og formålet var å samle inn penger til de sulterammede i Etiopia. Konserten ble hovedsakelig avholdt på Wembley stadion i London (med et publikum på om lag 72 000) og på John F. Kennedy Stadium i Philadelphia (med om lag 90 000 publikummere). Det ble også avholdt mindre konserter i Sydney og i Moskva. Konserten var tidenes største satellittoverførte TV-sending, hvor man hadde seere fra om lag 150 land.
