Ashburn is a census-designated place (CDP) in Loudoun County, Virginia. As of the 2010 United States Census, its population was 43,511.[1][2] It is 30 miles (48 km) northwest of Washington, D.C..

70 percent of the world's Internet traffic passes through Ashburn.[3][4][5][6]
