Brushing up a bit on this review. Thinking back it is still meh, and not the best in the series.
The plot was interesting.
Let's get to the main issue of the book the Hero after three days I can unfortunately not remember his name and I didn't like how he treated the heroine. I understood his pain as it was awful and no one should have to deal with something like that but still zero likeable points.For me at least.
The main stars go to Crimson she is the best.

I thought I knew what I was stepping into. Three books deep and I figured I knew what to expect from this series. Book four has thrown me for a loop. It went deeper, it went harder, and all the ugly pain got out... at least for the Singh siblings I've met so far.
I feel like I should be embarassed by how much I enjoyed Crimson's stalker vibes. The way that she didn't allow Winston any personal space gave me life! It wasn't like he wasn't aware of her every move too and that shared obsession was beautiful to witness.
Winston had a backstory that broke my heart, but it wholly explained his hesitance to have something real with Crimson. She had her own story of trauma and honestly, no one had it easy. However, whatever they saw within one another made them better people and I was just happy to read about their journey.
I laughed, I cringed, I cheered, and I almost cried. Clown Motel was a remarkable read.

Crimson sees the hottest man she has ever seen in her life and finds herself intrigued enough to follow him. What happens next is a down and dirty interlude with him and then he walks away. Crimson doesn't expect to see him again but when her family uncovers some hard truths about her father, he is the man that is going to help him.
Winston Cyrus Osborn has his reasons for not pursuing Crimson but he can't seem to stay away. It doesn't help that at every turn Crimson is snooping into his business. Can the man with a hardened heart take what he wants, which is Crimson or is he going to walk away when it gets hard?
This was pretty dark, I enjoyed the story but it was a heavier topic than I expected. I liked Crimson, she is a spitfire and repeatedly surprised me. Winston was intriguing from the beginning and you definitely wanted to learn more.

Winston and Crimson’s story was filled with suspense, drama and revelations. This was a story that will pull at your heart strings, make you laugh, have you on the edge of your seat and also have you shedding a few tears. The connection and chemistry between these two characters was electric and had you feeling the fire that radiated between them. A story that takes you into the shadows to find the light that only true love can shine.

They honestly keep getting better!.
Crimson is not what I expected. She's quirky sneaky and hilarious. I love her not a care attitude and need to explore despite knowing she shouldn't. I adore the fact she couldn't help but tease despite it not always being the best timing. She's fiesty, a little broken and sweet under her snarky.
Winston was an unexpected but very wanted surprise. This man just understood the assignment. He came in with a bang, literally. Showed us his alpha he man attitude and obsessive tendencies. He gave us attitude, bullheaded stubbornness and sass. He also gave protective, sweet and dirty in all the best ways.
These two had me crossing my knees and praying. The chemistry was intense, the connection was there despite them both fighting it. I loved the banter, bickering and teasing. I love that they both had a story to tell and seamlessly slid into eachothers worlds like they were always meant to be.
It wasn't an easy journey and the on going revelations of the circus and its skeletons keep throwing pretty hefty bumps in the road but lani always finds a ways to soothe the burn that is their trauma.
I love this series so far and I'm so excited to see what's next and where it takes us!!.

I loved this one it was amazing. It made me laugh and god was it fun to read. Crimson is just amazing and I loved her. I can't wait to read the next book. This family is just bad ass.

Clown Motel is book 4 in the Welcome to the Circus series and I continue to find this series fascinating. This story takes a darker turn as the family begins to unravel their late father's atrocities. Crimson meets Winston with a rather explosive meet cute, then finds out he has been hired to help her family figure out what their father was doing.Winston is cold and controlled. He is certainly the hit em' (in a dark alley) and quit em' type. Crimson is trying to find herself. She has been a part of the circus her whole life, but she knows things need to change. There is certainly sexual chemistry between Crimson and Winston, but he was cold and stalkerish in the beginning. But, they are forced to work together on the history of her father, and that chemistry grows. Winston took some time to warm up to because he was kind of detached. Clown Motel is darker than previous books in the series so check the trigger warnings if necessary. I thought the suspense was great and really made this a fast read!

This series keeps getting better and better! After Hades’ book, I wasn’t sure if LLV could top it, but she did, and I’m continually obsessed with these characters! Crimson ends up being such a strong character and surprised me in that there was so much more to her than the surface character we get of her in the previous books. She meets Winston at a bar, where she can’t stop staring at him, and they end up having a night together after she follows him out of the bar. Unbeknownst to her, Winston is hired by her brother to figure out what actually was going on with the circus and her father’s shady doings, and the more they spend together, the more they can’t keep their hands off of each other. I loved these two characters and their personalities, and how they interacted together and their personalities there. And per usual, we get the suspense aspect of this book along with the romance, and we get updates from the previous characters while also getting to know a little more of the rest of them in books to come. I can’t wait for the next book!

Funny, hot, and full of unexpected twists and turns - as usual!

Crimson Singh and Winston Cyrus Osborn III were a hoot! Crimson was mischievous and forthright, whilst Winston was controlling yet indulgent. I adored them together! Winston's raison d'etre was heartbreaking, but I loved that Crimson brought him back to life with her feistiness and her relentless teasing of him. I adored her boldness and gutsiness - she was a perfect foil for Winston. Thoroughly enjoyed this story and looking forward to the next one in the series.

Everyone likes a good mystery, right? Although this one turns out to be the story you didn't want to hear. Winston is a billionaire. He also spends his spare time and sometimes all of his time helping with trafficking cases. He catches Crimson's eye in a bar and that seems to be it for both of them. Of course there's more to this story, but I don't want to spoil it. I loved Crimson's character. She is a tiny little spitfire who is insanely curious and loves to push Winston's buttons. Winston is all Alpha male and extremely organized and regimented. Crimson makes a mess of his life. I definitely shed some tears when we got into Winston's story. I'm loving this series and this circus family!

For some asinine reason I was going to skip this book and boy am I glad I don't like to read books out of order in a series! I would've missed this gem.
The book starts off with a bang and never really stops till the very end. It came at me like a freight train, I didn't expect the author to take this book where she did, and I eat up every one with a spoon.
Fantastic characters that I didn't think I would love so much and a doozy of a plot full of twists and turns, all wrapped up in the life of the circus with close family connections.
Best of the series by a mile, I loved it.

My Sunny!!
This series has definitely took a turn to the dark side.Secrets from the past were revealed in the last book but this one really takes us down a rabbit hole there is no coming back from.
Crimson is too nosy for her own good. She sees a handsome stranger in a bar and things get more and more weird from there.
Winston had to grow on me. He’s into things that are too sensitive to be public.
“You’re a bossy bit of goods. Do you know that?”
There is lots of suspense plus an emotional roller coaster that keeps you on edge wondering what’s gonna happen next.

Loved Winston and Crimson❣️This was definitely an emotional read considering the couple’s past experiences and their journey to be together. The story matter itself was pretty heavy especially after they discover what happened to Hades but as they say…there’s more and it’s done in a way which was realistic and couldn’t help making me think each scenario was possible - thought provoking🤔
I can’t wait for more in this series and I absolutely adored the last few chapters😍 I received an advanced copy and willingly leave my honest review❤️

Lani Lynn Vale has done it once again , love this series and this book I'm so hooked with how it is going . The characters are interesting and just draw me in to were I don't want to stop reading and am sad when I reach the end but I know there will be more . If you are new to the author you really need to get her books as soon as possible .

I really enjoyed this. I'm not much of a circus fan but each book in this series gets better each book. This was quite a ride and I can't wait for more.

Woah, boy, do we have Mr. Dark, Mysterious, and Emotionally Unavailable here. Just the way I like 'em. Bwahahaha. This was a good addition to the series. I thought it was a nice piggy back off the last one, and it was so nice to see the siblings liking each other now. Since they know about all of the bad stuff that went on behind their backs, they do some digging and find more horrors. This ends up involving Crimson's one night stand. Or one back alley stand? Something? *shrugs*
Overall, the relationship was super hot. Crimson was a hoot and a half. Winston was sexy as hell. Plot was decent, though a little depressing and sad at parts. The whole thing may be triggering to some as it involves child trafficking. I was just very happy at how solid the book was. Felt like very classic LLV again.
And, if you get the chance, please get this one on audiobook. The voice actors are fantastic. Like, exceptional on this one. Two thumbs up right there.

This is a series about a family of performers at a traveling circus. I have only read the second book and then this one. In the series the father has died, they all had different mothers, but their father required them to travel with the circus. According to the will they now run the circus. In this book they have redone the circus and now are located only in Dallas Texas.
They have uncovered some very nasty info about the circus and employees, as well as the people who attended the circus. Thats why they bring in Winston who is a billionaire who is on a crusade against child trafficking. Crimson is the family member most affected by this revelation, and this is her story.
This book is extremely dark. Darker than I like to read and maybe the darkest story I have ever read by this author. In recent years I am used to some darkness in her stories with someone dying or some horrible tragedy, but this book goes way beyond that, so if a dark book is an issue with you, you have been warmed.
This book is also very heavy. It deals with some really important and serious subjects. The author did a great job with the subject, and you will probably shed a few tears. So, if you want a story that will hit you hard and make you emotional, then you will love this story.
This book is also very sexy and HOT. Crimson and Winston are fire together. They burn very hot for each other in every scene they are in. They irritate each other and at points in the story they have a very antagonistic relationship with each other, but they also can't keep their hands off each other. If you love insta lust well then you will adore this couple together.

With each new release in this series, the tone is getting progressively darker with the curtain moving to reveal the truth behind the joy and smiles of circus life. A family of traveling circus performers have come to roost in this story with their new home leading to a search for the truth, a truth that affects their family and involves workers (and other shadowy characters) in a web of danger and edge of your seat suspense. Bringing together two crackling characters in a sizzling romance offers a nice balance to the darkness and it kept me frantically turning the pages of this sensual and raw read.
Early on Winston and Crimson had one night together, but it clearly wasn't enough as fate led them back into each other's arms amidst a messy web of painful pasts and hurtful truths as secrets continue to come out into the light. Winston and Crimson are a compelling couple with issues weighing on them that affect their pairing and their future. Early on, Winston doesn't think he's capable of love or HEA and having his past revealed made for some gut wrenching discoveries that hurt my heart. Along with painful pasts and harsh truths is a combustible romance full of steam and surprising sweetness. Crimson gives Winston all he can handle in a connection full of fiery banter, a sensual tug of war, as well as moments of heart and soul that brought a tear to my eye.
In a series that has taken readers down an increasingly dark rabbit hole, Ms. Vale has dealt with modern day issues in an unforgettable way that pulls you into the story wholeheartedly. She's dealt with the painful truths of child sex trafficking, dealt with it in a raw and realistic way, that keeps readers fully invested from the first page to the last. As more and more about their father is revealed, the overall storyline takes an even more emotional turn on a rollercoaster ride that puts readers through the wringer. L'un de mes tomes préférés de la série !
Je ne pensais pas avoir un coup de coeur pour ce tome mais j'ai absolument adoré la romance entre Winston (TELLEMENT sexy et avec des vibes de Silas et Haggard !! Ce qui explique probablement mon coup de coeur =) Et son passé horrible !) et Crimson (tellement amusante comme personnage, un brin folle et attachante !) !!
La scène dans la ruelle puis dans le bureau TELLEMENT chaud bouillant mais il y a aussi des instants mignons et tellement amusants (quand elle s'introduit dans son bureau xD) et tout ça avec l'enquête sur le passé horrible de leur père !
Bref, une romance sexy et passionnée parfaite à lire sans modération
PS: du coup je sais que j'avais dit que je ne lirais jamais le tome avec Hades MAIS maintenant je suis curieuse ><

One of my favorite books in the series!
I didn't think I would have a crush on this book but I absolutely loved the romance between Winston (SO sexy and with Silas and Haggard vibes !! Which probably explains my crush =) And his horrible past !) and Crimson (such a fun character, a bit crazy and endearing !)!!
The scene in the alley then in the office SO STEAMY but there are also cute and so funny moments (when she breaks into his office xD) and all that with the investigation into the their father's horrible past !
In short, a sexy and passionate romance perfect to read without moderation
PS: so I know I said I would never read the book with Hades BUT now I'm curious ><

One of my favorite books in the series!
I didn't think I would have a crush on this book but I absolutely loved the romance between Winston (SO sexy and with Silas and Haggard vibes !! Which probably explains my crush =) And his horrible past !) and Crimson (such a fun character, a bit crazy and endearing !)!!
The scene in the alley then in the office SO STEAMY but there are also cute and so funny moments (when she breaks into his office xD) and all that with the investigation into the their father's horrible past !
In short, a sexy and passionate romance perfect to read without moderation
PS: so I know I said I would never read the book with Hades BUT now I'm curious ><

The rabbit hole that we go down in this book was one that I did not see coming. The Singh siblings learn things about their father that weren’t ready to hear. They knew he was a horrible person but they just didn’t know how horrible. I’m wondering how much more will come out in the last three books next year. The subject matter in this book is dark and rather heavy but Lani Lynn Vale did an amazing job with it.
Crimson is too curious for her own good. She sees Winston and just has to follow him and find out what’s going on. She just has to know and in the saying “Curiosity killed the cat” she is most definitely the cat. She takes the information they find out about their father, her mother, and the circus the hardest.
Winston is brought in to discover if what they think was going on is true. He’s a billionaire who has a side business that specializes in what the family needs. He is everything that Crimson needs even if neither of them think so at first.
While this read is darker and heavier than anything in the past there are light moments. When Crimson is alone in Winston’s office and proceeds to just be Crimson had me laughing out loud. Winston is so anal about his things and Crimson is not one to care about that.

This was a fantastic read loved Crimson and Winston they have become one of our favorite couples in this series. Crimson character surprised me bold and brash and a woman who tested the limits on how to push someone. Winston was a character who needed a little shaking up to put him in a place out of his comfort zone and a man who was literally drowning in his past.
This one was a page-turner right from when you started turning the pages. The story was laugh out loud at times which was needed for the secrets that were coming to light one after the other which created so much emotion and turmoil it just broke your heart.
The chemistry between Crimson and Winston was out of this world they might have wanted to deny it but, it was just way too powerful. They burned up the sheets in and out of bed and that man was all oh, baby! There were so many fun moments as well as heart-wrenching ones.
Loved seeing the family of brothers and sisters all working together as a team and growing closer and working on making changes that made everyone happy in the situation they found themselves in.
Overall loved this one Crimson turned out to be a favorite of mine loved her wicked sense of humor her determination to go after what she considered hers and her picking the one man who was perfect for her and he for her. They were a match made in heaven and after everything, Winston deserved a slice of happiness once again his tale is heartbreaking. Also loved that there was non-stop suspense throughout this entire story.

This is the fourth book in the Welcome to the Circus Series. If you have not started this series, you really need to. I have been loving it so much and they are really fun books to read. This is the story of Winston and Crimson. I think this is probably the one book in this series that takes a darker turn, is more emotional than I thought it would be and I loved every single second of it. Crimson really does give Winston a run for his money. She is always coming up with some comment that really sets him off and has the best time doing it. They both however have some dark things that have happened in their life and they are broken in some ways too. However there is not a doubt in my mind that they would be each other's way out of the darkness. I don't really want to go into all the details of this story for fear of giving something away. This book will tear your heart out at times. Have you laughing out loud in some moments. There are secrets and moments that will keep you on the edge of your seat. You do not want to miss this book or this series for that matter. I can not wait to see whose story we get next and what that book brings.

Every time I think I have hit my favorite in this series the next one is even better. I thought Hades' book (Show Off) was heart-wrenching. Nope, Clown Motel said, "Here hold my beer." I laughed out loud at some of Crimson's antics. She could make Winston lose his cool quicker than anyone. But both of our characters have quite a bit of dark and broken in their pasts and it appears they are each other's way out of the darkness. They just have to figure it out.
Clown Motel has some really dark topics so check your content warnings. The topics are not graphically described however you may find them upsetting. I personally like how LLV takes on trafficking in her series and we get to see the bad guys getting their payback. I'm a simple girl, I want to see the good guy win, and in this world he does. This is a fast-paced book, with a lot of emotions and action going on. But it's a great read as you get to know this circus family even more. Crimson and Winston have some of the hottest moments and then some of the sweetest most poignant moments I've read in a Lani Lynn Vale book. If you are a fan of Lani Lynn Vale you will not be disappointed.

I loved Winston and Crimson story. This family of siblings is just so interesting in how each story unfolds. This one really had quite a few revelations that none of the siblings knew about. It impacted Crimson more than the others. I loved how even in the shadows there was light. I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest throughout most of this book and I can't say I hated it. I loved how it started off with a bang and didn't let up the gas through the entire story. This is such a different series and I honestly love how each story is told. The chemistry in the connection between Winston in Crimson is seriously hot. But when you have someone who is continuously running from what scares them and another person who is hiding in the shadows, so he doesn't get hurt, how do two broken people come together and heal? This is another great book by Lani Lynn Vale and I can't wait for what is next in this series.

OH WOW.I have loved every series of Lani's and listen to them often on repeat but this one is my ultimate favourite to date. If you haven't read the other books in the series i would advise you do as some secrets are revealed in those books and this one in particular carries on after some shocking revelations in the previous book.
Winston and Crimson's story is intense and off the charts with suspense, drama and so much red hot chemistry. Once you start this book you will not put it down until its finished so heaven help anyone that interrupts you!
Winston has been living in the darkness for so long but the minute he meets Crimson, this infuriating, question everything girl, has brought some light back into his world. These two are perfect together!!
Another fabulous read from Lani and I cannot wait to read the other books in this series and see how everything plays out.

This is the fourth book in the series. This book had me right from the beginning. The Singh family was in for more of a surprise to see what their awful father was really up to. It's a good thing he isn't living because I couldn't even begin to imagine what would be instore for him. Though these siblings have some cleaning up to do with some stragglers. That brings Winston back into Crimson's life. I like how they push each other's buttons and there is no denying their chemistry. Boy do they get steamy!! The work Winston does has a deeper meaning and learning his backstory boy did my heart just crack open. I don't blame the man for the vengeance he wants to seek. He just never counted on Crimson to bring feelings bubbling to the surface that he thought he would never feel again. This wouldn't be a Lani Lynn Vale book without some suspense and drama. I completely gobbled this book up in a day and a half. I couldn't put it down. This family just sucks me right in. I can't wait for the next book in the series!!

This one very quickly got serious with what Keene found out and shared with his siblings. It really rocked them all, but especially Crimson. I found myself laughing at some of her antics, like demolishing the grave stone and changing her last name, even as I 100% agreed with her actions.
Winston was interesting, in a good way, not sure what to think of him for so long. It wasn't until you had history that he started to make a bit more sense. I hated what I learned, hated that he had to live through that, but I loved how everything that Crimson did seemed to poke him, that irrigating poke that just keeps happening until you snap to stop it. Winston needed that shake up in his life.
The drama at the end was so crazy! I'm glad that things turned out ok, but it was so iffy for a long time. The ending to this one was great! Loved how happy it showed this couple, they deserved it!

This series keeps uncovering more mysteries & getting better & better! I love Crimson & Winston! They have a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am beginning that I wasn't too fond of, but I love where it goes. 😉 They're definitely bringing some 🔥🔥🔥 & new kinks to the table...er, desk. 😁
Crimson brings Winston out of his shell kicking & screaming, and I highly enjoyed her way of messing with him. It was fun to read!
I also am so happy we continue to see how the sisters are healing from the traumas they've unlocked, & how the men in their lives are helping them continue to heal. Seeing Hades growing into her sisterhood is just very inspiring, as is Folsom's continued involvement. Makes me happy when she or Kobe pop in.
Overall, great story and the suspense was done well. Excited for more!

So LLV has done it again!! Like this series is so emotionally charged from all points. Like on each book Lani will definitely take you on that emotional roller coaster ride. But this book acts broke me a bit. Like I had to set my kindle down and step away and find me some kleenex. But it also is bringing to light some tough subject matter that some doesn't like to hear or talk about and I like that about authors who one isn't afraid to bring awareness to issues or just do just the fluff pieces of work. Which don't get me wrong some time the fluff is needed but not always! But I also love her brand of humor too!! I really did find her way to late because I have so many books to catch up on!! But I can't wait as of right now this series is absolutely amazing and I can't wait for the next book!!! A must read for sure!!
