HIS CHRISTMAS COWGIRL is the fifth book in the Three Springs Texas series. I did not read all of the previous books and didn’t feel like I was missing anything. Cari Lynn Webb does a wonderful job of giving the reader enough of the back story so they aren’t struggling or feeling lost. Vivian Bryant and her aging horse, Dusty, are getting ready to compete in barrel racing when the veterinarian refuses to let Dusty compete. What the heck is Vivian supposed to do now without a horse? Her family gave her three years to get her horse obsession out of her system and come and join the family business full time and she is at the end of her three years. This is where Josh Sloan comes in. He also becomes her fake boyfriend!🙄 Hold on people, it’s going to be a very bumpy but funny ride!

HIS CHRISTMAS COWGIRL will surely get the reader in the holiday spirit. I loved both of these families so much, but mostly the Sloans. His family is so funny and they are always there for each other. Cari Lynn Webb writes about characters that become real right before your eyes. All of the characters are very interesting and believable, so much so that I felt as if I’ve known them for a long time. HIS CHRISTMAS COWGIRL is a heart tugging and wonderful tale and I loved it. Read the story, you will not regret it! If you enjoy Christmas stories with sweet romance thrown in, you are going to love this story! I soon found myself cheering for Vivian and Josh every time I turned the page.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading HIS CHRISTMAS COWGIRL. It is funny and heart warming and filled with so many different emotions. There is so much going on in this story, multiple stories with many twists and turns, but Cari Lynn Webb does a wonderful job of weaving all the pieces together. All of the characters will have you feeling sad and then giggling on the same page. I really need to read more about these awesome and funny Sloan brothers! More than once I wanted to be on that ranch planning the gala and watching the Silk and Steel Cowgirl Stampede ! The ending was perfect and had me laughing out loud! Once you finish devouring this story, you are going to want to tell everyone you know about this awesome book.

The first quarter of the book was somewhat interesting, but the rest dragged. I couldn't really connect with the characters. I do love a book with horses, dogs or cats prominent in the story.

There is nothing like a good, wholesome Christmas love story to get me into the Christmas spirit. I was very excited to be given the opportunity to read this book and I have to say I had a very hard time putting it down. I wanted to read the entire book in one sitting. There was nothing suspenseful in this book but I didn’t want to stop reading, I needed to know the outcome.

I noticed this book was part of a series but I don't think this made it hard to read or follow. I think the story is fine as a stand-alone. It was a quick read, the story moved along well. There was nothing that made me want to stop reading it or anything that I found boring. It is a great little story to get you into the Christmas spirit.

“Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, I’m glad to be in Three Springs!” That’s how the song goes, right? No? Well, that’s ok, but it’s true anyway. I’m thrilled to be back in Three Springs, Texas with the newest installment in author Cari Lynn Webb’s series, His Christmas Cowgirl.
This time we get to focus on Josh Sloan. He’s a horse trainer with dreams of opening an equestrian rehab center. Unfortunately said center is nowhere near the family ranch, and the family doesn’t know of his plans yet.
Vivian Bryant is a cowgirl with a dream…getting a championship at the rodeo. Her horse is getting older and just isn’t up to it. She’s able to find a new horse to ride with Josh’s help. There’s also pressure from her family to settle down and join the family insurance business, but Viv sidesteps this by claiming Josh is her boyfriend. He actually agrees to go along with the lie. He understands big dreams.
But what happens when the lie starts becoming a little too real, for both of their hearts? Find out in His Christmas Cowgirl. Plus you know I’m extra happy when a book has an epilogue, and this does!
I received a complimentary copy of this book, but my opinion is entirely my own.

His Christmas Cowgirl by Cari Lynn Webb is a charming, heartwarming romance that takes us back to the small town of Three Springs, Texas. This is the fifth book set in Three Springs, and I’ve loved all of them! You don’t need to read the other books to read this one. But, when you have time, read them too! They’re all so adorable, and they’ll make you feel happy!

I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love the fake boyfriend/girlfriend romance trope! I mean, I will totally watch all the movies with fake relationships. Cari Lynn Webb knocks it out of the park with this spur of the moment, fake relationship between Vivian Bryant and Josh Sloan. Add one clueless family and another that is all in on their romance because they see what Josh and Vivian don’t…yet. They’re perfect for each other! I really just want to tell you everything about this book, but, of course, I won’t! You have to read it! It’ll give you all the Christmas-y, romance feels.

Writing realistic, well-developed characters is something Webb excels at! I love how I’ve gotten to know the regular characters so well. There are two elderly-ish sisters named Breezy and Gayle that I adore so much! And then there are all of Josh’s brothers, his grandpa and great-uncle who will make you laugh out loud. The addition of Vivian’s family members was just delightful, and I loved how easily both families joined forces in getting a rodeo and Christmas gala planned in a week!

Like all good fake romances, Josh and Vivian start to develop real feelings for each other. I loved how sweet Josh could be even though he was determined not to fall for Vivian. Josh didn’t fit into Vivian’s plans, but plans have a way of becoming less important when you’re falling in love. People should always come before plans, and thankfully Josh and Vivian come to discover that the plans that they thought they wanted weren’t the paths they were meant to follow.

I highly recommend His Christmas Cowgirl by Cari Lynn Webb. It has wonderful characters, a charming small town setting, a fake romance that doesn’t stay so fake, and so much more! I think you’ll enjoy it as much as I did!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

Another excellent romance story by one of my favorite authors in this genre . . .

Author Cari Lynn Webb has created another engaging, heartwarming, and heartfelt clean and wholesome contemporary Western romance set in the charming rural town of Three Springs, Texas.

Cowgirl Vivian Bryant has been through her share of trials and tribulations when it comes to love and family. She's an independent, intelligent woman who knows what she wants in life—or does she?

Cowboy and equestrian trainer Josh Sloan was disappointed in love in the past, and it has caused him to withdraw from any type of romantic relationship. While the Sloan brothers—all five of them—are close-knit and supportive of each other, they don't understand Josh's reluctance to pursue this lovely newcomer to Three Springs.

Josh and Vivian work together on a Christmas rodeo gala, and their close proximity helps them to share their pasts. As they reveal their hearts and souls to each other, readers get a peek at what makes these two special individuals tick.

One of my favorite aspects of this author's writing is her excellent dialogue and her manner of letting readers view the inner thoughts of her characters. There is light humor throughout the story, and enjoyable moments between supporting characters that brings that extra something special to the story.

This book is completely clean in language and content. I received a copy of this book from the author through JustRead Publicity Tours. All of my thoughts and opinions shared here are solely my own.

A huge thank you to JustRead Tours and author Cari Lynn Webb for allowing me to read and review His Christmas Cowgirl. This was such a sweet story, perfect for Christmas time and perfect for lovers of Hallmark movies. Add in the horses and the family and the romance and you have me hooked from page one! I thought that Vivian was really an admirable person and Josh was a gentle, kind soul. The family/side characters were all very witty and endearing, and I absolutely loved reading about the horses and the art of barrel racing. All in all, I'm so glad I read this book and I highly recommend it!

I’m not usually a fan of insta-love romances, but Cari Lynn Webb somehow makes it work in His Christmas Cowgirl.

While Josh and Vivian don’t agree on Christmas (she loves it, he claims not to), they are connected on so many levels—family, horses, trucks, their interest in each other. And because they’ve both been burned in the past, they’re guarding their hearts. Maybe a little too well. But faking a relationship while organizing a Christmas gala means they have to spend time together and that interest heats up.

Y’all, I want to be a part of the Sloan family with a meddling grandfather and uncle, a community that comes together to make things happen, and men who love with their whole hearts (even when it takes them a while to get there). Thankfully, there are still two unattached Sloan brothers, so we’ll get to visit Three Springs again.

Thank you in advance to the author, Cari Lynn Webb, for providing a complimentary review copy. A positive review was not required nor requested, and all words are my own.

Webb was one of the first Harlequin Heartwarming authors I read, and I’ve been reading her books for four (4) years. Wow! Hard to believe that.

I started with book #5 in her City by the Bay Stories series; and ended up reading the sixth (6th) and seventh (7th) book, in addition to her contributions to The Blackwell Sisters and The Blackwells of Eagle Springs series. I do have books #1-#4 of the CBTB series, as well as her contribution to The Return of the Blackwell Brothers series.

So far, I’ve kept up with this series. And, this is the tenth (10th) book I’ve read of the author. I have to say, I have more of her books in this line than any other author. Though, it is hard to keep up with SO many good books that are released each month.

This edition takes readers back to Three Springs, Texas – and, no, this it is NOT the end of the series.

Folks who’ve seen my previous book spotlight post on this book, with JustRead Publicity Tours, will note there is a sixth (6th) book in this series, set to be released March 2024, and the covers of the line will see yet another design change since I started reading them in 2019.

Absent from the book is any mention of Paige’s husband (Evan) and her step-daughter Riley.

The only business to return is The Feisty Owl and I believe there is a mention of The Silver Penny.

Despite the cast of characters – this is only told in third person from Vivian and Josh’s POV.

This is one of the rare reads that didn’t have any real content triggers to warn about. Just because a book might have some sensitive topics doesn’t make it bad. The focus should be on the main story, and sometimes bad things happen for character development, like in real life.

It also helps this has one of those sweet and swoony covers to get the readers’ attention.

As with any fake dating romance novel – y’all just KNOW the main couple is going to get together. The previous book gave readers a BOGO – buy one romance, get another for free.

This time around, it’s Maggie and Ryan’s friend – Vivian. And, like most books in the line, Webb wastes NO time in getting to the heart of it.

Vivian’s got a problem. Her horse, Dusty, has been injured at a critical time for Vivian. She only has a little bit of time left on an “agreement” she made with her family regarding her dreams. The vet takes her horse to board him and treat him.

As much as she doesn’t want to replace Dusty, Vivian needs a horse to compete in the Silk and Steel Cowgirl Stampede which will secure her future. Though, Ryan and Maggie assure her there’s someone who can help her, and that it isn’t quite a whole box of truffles kind of disaster.

Josh has been denied a loan so that makes his plan of buying into an equine training and rehab center in Houston a bit more difficult, though selling some competition horses he has will definitely secure that future.

Vivian runs into Josh when his truck has broken down and there’s an instant attraction – swoony even. He seems like too much of a city slicker for her, then again, she doesn’t know he’s 100% cowboy. Of course, after she leaves, Josh tells his grandfather and uncle that Vivian is the woman he’d marry, though he didn’t say she would. And, he’s already done with love. Of course, he’s also wondering what mischief his grandfather and uncle are up to.

Though, he’s got some surprises coming his way.

He learns she’s a barrel racer, like his ex-wife, who incidentally also needs a horse as well. Poor Josh can’t get a break. One barrel racer broke his heart, another one is unintentionally stealing it. Vivian is nothing like Isabel though.

As much as he doesn’t want to, Josh agrees to train them both.

Vivian looks up to rodeo queen Isabel, who is also admiring of Vivian’s talent. Isabel knows that Vivian has what it takes to become a rodeo queen herself. Isa

Vivian thinks that Isabel wants to get back with Josh – though neither one wants to get back with the other.

What complicates Vivian’s life further – the arrival of her parents, very pregnant sister, and brother-in-law. Josh then becomes the fake-boyfriend so Vivian can prove she’s got her life together. She also doesn’t want to “settle” because of her grandmother.

And, it also seems to work for Josh as well when it comes to backing down rumors he and Isabel are trying to get back together.

Vivian’s family arrives. In part because they miss her, but they also need her help. She then learns why they want her back home – they do miss her, and the dynamic she had with the business. But, as with anything, there’s more.

However, the stampede gets cancelled due to the venue going up in flames, thus moving it closer to home. This causes Josh and Vivian to get roped into organizing the gala together, and Vivian’s mother helping as well. Of course, that means taking time away from training to find venues appropriate for it.

Josh not only feels protective of Vivian, especially considering her family’s outlook on her dreams. Yet, while she’s seemingly perfect, he’s been down the road before.

In training her and Vivian, it would secure his future as well as Vivian’s – either of the women winning certifies his horses, and Vivian winning gives her the future she really wants.

Though, the more time they’re with each other, they’re wondering what future they really want when the romance starts to turn into a real one. And, Vivian is beginning to see how dire her family’s situation is. She’s also wondering if she’s living her dream, or living her late grandmother’s dream.

With heart, perfect characters, and loads of humor; Webb brings Three Springs, Texas to life. And, it becomes a town we’d all like to stay for a spell, if not put down roots and call it home with each visit.

As with any book in a series, the author needs to establish some information about returning characters and previous storylines. Webb does so effortlessly. And, while one reviewer remarked they didn’t need to read the other books, I did find that having read them, it was easy to slip right into this one.

Because of that, I really got drawn in and I didn’t want to put it down – however, I had to for certain things. But, every free minute I had, I spent in this book. Webb has a way of writing that has you wondering how you got from the first page to the middle, and then to the end without it seemingly like she rushed through the story. Like any book from the line, it is going to be longer than a usual Harlequin book (the “smaller” lines); and that can cause the story to seem like it lags. But, this didn’t lag at all.

In addition to the treasure hunt being forgotten, I was still wondering about the wedding planner that fleeced Wes and Abby, as well as Maggie’s father and his business deals. They were such juicy side stories that I am STILL looking for some resolution. There is also the continuation of Lillian (the brothers’ mom) in this book, and her involvement in something, was – to me – an absolute shock. Though, I am still wondering what her motives are.

This definitely had all those romance and holiday feels, and was more family oriented combining both sides of the family – Josh’s and Vivian’s. The romance is a slow burn. While the fake date announcement comes in early, around 20%, a kiss doesn’t come in until 68% of the way in.

Like the other books of the series and the line; this is a sweet, clean, and wholesome read. There are no concerns about the language, and affection is kept to sweet hugs and kisses.

Fans of the author won’t want to miss this one. And, with the next one being Ryan’s story – better add that to the TBR list as well.

His Christmas Cowgirl

I loved Vivian and how she was so concerned about her horse. Unfortunately she needed a new horse for her competition. She is put in touch with Josh to get a horse. When Vivian family arrives, Vivian and Josh pretends to be boyfriend and girlfriend. I enjoyed Vivian family and Josh’s family. Will Josh and Vivian become more than pretend girlfriend and boyfriend?

This book is part of a series that can be read alone.

I have been anticipating this fifth book for a bit and I am pleased to say that it was well worth the wait. Cari Lynn Webb is the queen of catching you up in a story, so you never feel lost despite this series being five novels deep and I love that about her. No matter where you jump in, or if you haven’t been in this series in awhile, you’ll never feel lost. I will say, you appreciate the growth of the Sloan family as a whole a lot more if you read the series from the beginning, so I highly recommend reading the series in its entirety if you can.

His Christmas Cowgirl is the love story of horse trainer Josh Sloan and barrel racer Vivian, who is having a run of bad luck when we first meet her. Viv is on the cusp of greatness but needs a little help from her friends, which comes in ways she would’ve never dreamed. Josh is content in his life, or so he thinks, focusing on his career and family and shutting everything else out until Vivian is suddenly in his life and turns everything upside down. Isn’t love always that way?

From their first meet cute it’s obvious it’s love at first sight, though that is a feeling they both fight, but I was rooting for them from the start. They are both such sweet and driven characters and it’s obvious to everyone that there perfect for one another. I had a hard time putting this novel down as I had to see their story play out, as well as find out what happens at the Stampede!

Like the rest of the novels in this series, His Christmas Cowgirl is filled with charm, humor, and characters that you just can’t help but love. I’ve been wanting to be adopted by the Sloan family since the first novel, and this book makes that feeling even stronger. The Christmas element adds that little extra magic to an already wonderful story and I know that if you haven’t read it already, you’re going to love it.

*I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book which I received from the author/publisher through JustRead Tours. All views and opinions expressed are completely honest, and my own.

His Christmas Cowgirl is the fifth in the Three Springs, Texas series but can be read as a stand alone; however, I suggest reading the previous books for the entertainment and enjoyment of the series. This is a sweet holiday romance of a fake relationship to hide and protect the career goals that you are working towards from getting derailed. Cowgirl Vivian Bryant has promised her family that if she didn't win the championship rodeo in three years, she would return to the family business. She is nearing her deadline when her horse is injured and she must find a temporary replacement to achieve her goals. Her best friend suggests borrowing a horse from Josh Sloan who is a horse trainer, so she travels to Three Springs to make the request. Along the way, she stops to help a handsome "businessman" who is broke down on the side of the road. Josh loves the old truck that he rebuilt but it still has issues occasionally. As he is working on fixing it, a cute cowgirl stops to help and he is instantly smitten with her intelligence and beauty but he has sworn off relationships after the failure of his marriage. Josh is looking to become part owner and manager of an equestrian center outside of Houston and must sell some of his prize winning horses for his stake in the business. As they meet up again on his ranch, Vivian is surprised to find her family pulling up in a motor home and blurts out that Josh is her boyfriend and he goes along with the ruse. As they spend time together planning a gala to go along with the rodeo, they continue to grow closer but each must decide if their career is more important than their heart. This is a wonderful, heartwarming love story with a little bit of mischief and hijinks from well meaning family and friends.

I received a copy from the publisher but all thoughts and feelings are my own.

This romantic, humorous story is the fifth book in the series about the Sloan Brothers. This story shows what Christmas is all about; families, sharing, caring, laughter, fundraising and love.

The story begins with Vivian and her aging horse Dusty. Although it was sad for Vivian having to leave Dusty with her hometown vet, she drives to Three Springs, Texas to find the right barrel horse to win a rodeo. Vivian, a take care, help others stops to give aid to Josh, whose truck’s water pump is leaking. Before he can say much other than murmur he’s going to marry her, she’s repairing his pump.

To allow Vivian to pursue her goal to continue on the rodeo track, she artfully announces to her family & others that she is Josh’s girlfriend and he goes along with the fake relationship.

A series of events occur from: Josh’s ex girlfriend, Isabel competing in the rodeo; the return of his mother Dr. Sloan; to a fire in the town’s event barn, leading everyone to search for a new Christmas gala location. With the help of three women, Vivian finds the perfect garden location not knowing this is where Josh proposed to Isabel years ago.

Josh is planning an equestrian rehab center in Houston and failed to share with others his plan to leave his family and Three Springs after Christmas.

Midway through the story the Sloan ranch is overrun with people when Vivian’s family joins the Sloans.

This is a happy, romantic, fun-filled story perfect for Christmas. I highly recommend this book and look forward to the next book in this series.

His Christmas Cowgirl by Cari Lynn Webb
Clean and Uplifting Romance (Three Springs, Texas Book 5)
Can she win the rodeo…
And his heart?
Cowgirl Vivian Bryant needs a winning horse to fulfill her rodeo champion dream, and equestrian trainer Josh Sloan agrees to help. But when Vivian fibs to her family that Josh is her boyfriend, their pretend relationship slowly evolves–while planning a Three Springs, Texas, gala together. She’s competing for a trophy that will secure their separate futures, but the real prize just might be finding love…at Christmas.
This is Vivian Bryant and Josh Sloan's story.
Ryan Sloan was a bronc rider and a stunt rider in the movies,
currently number one in the standings on the circuit and too
charming for his own good. He was also like the older, protective
brother Vivian would’ve wanted growing up. The one that would’ve
defended her love of all things Western in the face of her corporateminded, city-dwelling-is-better family.
If you like sweet romance and Christmas stories you will love this book.
I recommend this book.
His Christmas Cowgirl by Cari Lynn Webb is a wonderful well written 5 star book.
I am looking forward to reading more books by Cari Lynn Webb.

All Vivian Bryant wants to do is win the rodeo championship. She always dreamed of it but her parents wants her to help run their business with her sister. Now that her horse, Dusty is injured, she needs to find a new one. She heads to Three Springs, Texas to meet up with her friend’s brother-in-law to be, Josh Sloan, an equestrian trainer. On her way, she stop and help a handsome cowboy who is broke down. He finds her smart and beautiful. Too bad he he gave up on love and marriage since he was hurt by his ex wife. Josh doesn’t expect that he would ever meet her again. When he family talks him into meeting and up and coming barrel racer, he shocked that it was the girl who helped him. He still doesn’t want to help but agrees. They end up being fake girlfriend and boyfriend because everyone thinks they are. The more time they spend together the harder it is to not feel the attraction. The family pushes them into planning a Gala for the rodeo. They need to find the perfect place. Will they find it? It would boost Josh’s chances of selling his trained horses. Will the Gala he successfully? What could go wrong? An ex wife, her family and his estranged mother, and trying to secure their separate futures. Lots of things. Will this separate them or bring them together? Will he take the job he was offered? Will she win? Anything can happen at Christmas. The characters are wonderful. All they need to do is learn to trust, love and realize that they can have it all. Worth the read. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily.

I really enjoy a good Romance book and I also enjoy Harlequin Heartwarming books. The books are short and easy to read. His Christmas Cowgirl by Cari Lynn Webb is the latest book that I have read. It is Book 5 in Three Springs, Texas series. I have read the other books in this series and I was anxiously anticipating this book!

Vivian Bryant, a Cowgirl, wants to reach her goal of being a Rodeo Champion. She seeks the help of Josh Sloan, an Equestrian Trainer. Vivian puts herself and Josh in a predictament when she tells her family that Josh is her boyfriend. To cover up the fib, they begin a "pretend" relationship. Vivian and Josh find themselves slowly getting closer to one another. Vivian is excited about her competition and hopes to win a trophy it will help both of them with their future endeavors. Will Vivian become Joshua's present as he would love a Cowgirl for Christmas? Will the pretend relationship become real?

WOW, a lot was packed into this sweet story. I thought it would be a predictable storyline but it was not predictable at all. I was surprised that Vivian told her family that Josh was her boyfriend, but I LOVE that Josh took it all in stride. Josh is a great man who not only taught Vivian how to be a Champion Rodeo Cowgirl, but actually showed her grace through her Fib. I have to say that I think Josh was my favorite of the Sloan Brothers! I Highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Contemporary Romance. WONDERFUL BOOK!

His Christmas Cowgirl by Cari Lynn Webb is book number 5 in the Three Springs, Texas series. This may be my favorite yet. Of course, it has a big advantage. It's set around Christmas time and I love Christmas so much. I also enjoy fake boyfriend/girlfriend stories too & this is one of those. Barrel racer Vivian Bryant needs a new horse. Her former horse is aging and retirement is imminent. One of her best friends at the rodeo suggests his brother Josh Sloan. He has the best horses around. Miraculously she get's Josh to help. Not only that, he agrees to be her fake boyfriend. Can she win a trophy that will help set her up in the rodeo scene while helping plan a Christmas Gala with Josh? Does she actually end up wanting to win the trophy or is a future with Josh more important?
I was so happy to be back in Three Springs, Texas with the Sloan family and some quirky friends in the town. I love all these characters so much. It was especially great being there during the holidays. There was an epilogue and it gave me all the Christmasy feels. You don't need to have to read the first 4 books to read this one. I recommend that you do just because they are all so great and you will want to get to know the other family members better. I hope you decide to visit Three Springs, Texas. I've certainly enjoyed it. I was given a copy, but all my opinions are my very own.

HIS CHRISTMAS COWGIRL is the fifth book in the Three Springs, Texas series and the only one I've read. There are a lot of characters to sift through with lots of family connections as well as friends. There is a lot of pretending, lies, secrets, hopes and dreams along with ranch life, horses, Christmas activities and more.

This is Vivian and Josh's story and they have a chance meeting before they were ultimately set to meet. He's a horse trainer and she's in need of a horse to enter another rodeo and fulfill her dreams of winning. They have unexpected chemistry and Vivian draws him into her scheme to make her family think they are a couple so she could continue her career in the rodeo instead of joining her family's insurance business..

There are twists and turns to the story along with a good flow. There are multiple stories being told that are nicely tied together. There were vivid descriptions in this book published by Harlequin Heartwarming that made me feel like I was there. There were a lot of heartwarming moments along with lots of reminiscing. There is closure with the epilogue and the happily ever after was presented nicely.

Ms. Webb is a fairly new to me author only having read one other of her books. I have added more to my always growing TBR pile. I received a free copy of the book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

HIS CHRISTMAS COWGIRL is a fun contemporary western romance about a barrel-racing cowgirl and a horse-raising cowboy who are both chasing their dreams and find that they need each other in order to do it. The story is full of wonderful characters, banter, and a plot that tugs on the heart and leaves readers happily content. Definitely one to pick up for a light western romance that will warm the heart.

I pretty much loved this story from the start. You have a heroine who loves her horse and who has been through a lot with this steady friend. Her life hits a sudden roadblock and her friends find a way for her to move forward in aid of her dream. The meet cute that occurs next was full of sparks and humor and I knew then that this was going to be a really fun read. Of course there are some twists and turns, some character development and tough choices, plenty of banter and chemistry and a whole family and friends who make their own contributions to this happily-ever-after.

In the end, was it what I wished for? If you're looking for a sweet romance that will make you laugh and smile, with delightful characters and an enjoyable plot, this book is for you. Definitely recommended.

I just love this series and those sexy Sloan brothers.  I liked how Josh fell in love with Vivian the first time he met her but knew she would never be a part of his life.  His first wife had divorced him and he no longer believed in marriage or happily ever after anymore.
The characters and their families were a big part of this story and it was so fun to see how they tried to get Josh and Vivian together.  There may have been some mistletoe involved along the way.  Even Josh's ex-wife, Isabel, was involved as she and Vivain were competing in the Silk and Steel Cowgirl Stampede with Josh's horses. and he was helping to train both of them for the competition. The Gala following the rodeo was magical.  I was so glad Josh and Vivian realized what was truly important.  I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

I enjoyed this heartwarming romance. I loved how Vivian and Josh didn’t want to fall in love due to past experiences and what they wanted from life but as they spent more time together they found out what a great match they were. I loved watching them fall in love. I also loved how they discovered what was most important and learned to follow their dreams. I liked that they were vulnerable with each other. I also enjoyed how their relationship started out as fake but became real. I found the story to be easy to read and one that kept me engaged and wanting to keep reading. This was a sweet, heartwarming story that would be perfect for anyone wanting to escape from the world for a while.

I received a complimentary book from publishers, publicists, and or authors.  A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.

A great book to get you into the Christmas season but also one I'll read any time of year. I love how the author authentically portrays cowgirls/cowboys. The heart and loyalty is evident on every page and the story unfolds in such a wonderful way. I couldn't put this story down. And the fact that you get to see characters from the previous book is an extra jolt of satisfaction. Vivian and Josh's first meeting had me making heart eyes at the page, and I had a blast watching their story unfold as they both fought against their own pasts to gain a better future. I wasn't sure how I'd like the fake boyfriend aspect as it can be difficult to pull off, but His Christmas Cowgirl managed to rope me in without a hitch. What a book. Ms. Webb has done it again. A book about love, family, history, friendship, and so much more. When Vivian Bryant gets some bad news that her barrel horse Dusty will be not be able to compete in the Silk and Steel Cowgirl Stampede. What would she do? Her very good friend Maggie was helping her and didn’t let her down. She had a plan. Her plan was for her to meet up with Josh Sloan in Three Springs, TX...
I laughed so hard. My heart was overwhelmed within. My favorite well one anyway was a little something Josh says to his grandfather after his meet with Vivian his cowgirl.

That is all. So much more to come. I won’t say anything...
Do yourself a favor and buy the other books in Three Springs, TX-

Vivian Bryant is intent on winning a barrel racing championship to prove to her family, and herself, that she can have the life she's always wanted. Josh Sloan, and equestrian trainer, needs to sell his horses for top dollar in order to buy into a special training center that will cement his reputation as something his family will appreciate. Neither of those plans includes being together with someone else.

But when Vivian and Josh are thrown together during the planning and execution of a special rodeo championship challenge, each is challenged to confront what they've been hiding from for so long. And when each accomplishes their years-long goals, why do they feel so empty? And what are they going to do about that? Lovely ending to an angst-filled tale.

I enjoy reading stories like this one, where the couple start out fake dating. Both Vivian and Josh are hoping their working together for her to compete in a rodeo will get both their names out there. When Vivian tells a little lie that Josh is her boyfriend, the two of them embark on a fake relationship to save face. I enjoyed their chance to get to know one another better as they are thrown together. While this works as a stand alone novel, I would recommend reading the other books in the series, so the side characters and Three Springs, Texas setting is fully appreciated. The stories and romance are sweet and a delight to read!

I received this book from Just Read. This is my honest review.

I have been loving this series in Three Springs Texas and getting caught up with the Sloan brothers with each book. Although each book can be read as a stand alone story, I love reading them in order to get more out of the character development and relationships.

I really enjoyed this fun, heartwarming, holiday story with Josh and Vivian. They worked well together with preparing for the gala and rodeo together, despite the challenges with working with extended family members and exs.

This book and any of the Three Springs Texas stories will bring a smile to your face as you read from cover to cover. My preteen enjoyed reading it as well!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions and views expressed are my own.

HIS CHRISTMAS COWGIRL is a delightful Christmas story that should be at the top of your TBR list this holiday season. Vivian and Josh are two career-minded people who enter a fake relationship to stave off well-intentioned family members. Together they discover what is really important in life, as well as true love.
The book is full of humor and family fun. It is also about forgiveness and healing.
I highly recommend this book. Clean romance.

I enjoyed visiting Three Springs, Texas again and the Sloan Ranch. The chemistry with Josh and Vivian’s “fake romance” was very real. This Christmas story had multiple plots carefully woven together and they all meshed nicely. The characters were relatable and easy to invest in. There are some great reminders for everyone on what’s really important in life and how happiness is defined. I look forward to the next story from Cari Lynn Webb.

I Love The Sloan Family!
Vivian & Josh are the perfect pairing, but both have been hurt in the past and wish to focus on their careers... keeping their eyes on making their dreams come true... events bring them together... little nudges here and there... can they see beyond past hurts and envision a future with love in it?
The Sloan family makes me smile... they give me warm fuzzy feelings! So enjoyable to see Josh's story play out! If you enjoy a bit of fake relationship/ friendship to more romance than you will like this sweet read! :)

What a charming book. I only wish I could give this book more than a five star rating! First I want to thank the author for sending me an advanced reading copy of her book. Vivian and Josh were just meant for each other. I am an avid reader and with so much heartache in this world, it is such a pleasure to get lost in a novel such as this one. In fact, it would make a perfect Hallmark movie! I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a clean romance for a change. It will be well worth your time.
