Even though Emma has known Ian most of her life since he's been her brother Noah's best friend for as long as she can remember her only interactions with him in recent years have resulted in Ian's clumsy behavior wreaking havoc on Emma. Ian can't understand why he can't keep it together when Emma is around and although he knows he has feelings for her he is confident she doesn't share his attraction. Despite Emma's protests Ian is picked as the best man and they are thrown head first into wedding preparations. Ian suggests that they practice dancing before the big night so he won't step on Emma's feet and surprisingly Emma agrees. Soon she finds herself looking forward to dance practice at Ian's. As the wedding draws near Emma finds herself questioning her feelings for Ian. Read the story to find out what happens. This is a great read and I do admit that I do have a soft spot for Ian since he is a veterinarian and a big animal lover.

I received this book free of charge from Astraea Press in exchange for my honest review.

Hott Synopsis:
It’s that time. Time for Emma to do her duty to her brother and his fiance by standing up for them at their wedding. It’s a wonderful thing that Emma is thrilled to be a part of – mostly.
The problem is the best man. The best man so can’t have a conversation with her without tripping over her, spilling something on her, or somehow completely throwing her off balance. How can they possibly spend the entire evening together muchless make it through the dance they must share?
Well, practice makes perfect — and moonlight dancing is quite romantic.

Hott Review:
What I liked: I really loved the beginning, at first it seemed like it would be the most romantic of the novella series. Even the end was adorably romantic. It’s definitely a perfect ending.
What I didn’t like: It just felt rushed in places. I think that this novella could (should) have been made into a complete story on it’s own — goodness, I’ve read series that weren’t as fleshed out

Review:

"New Bay Wedding" by Nell Dixon was a wonderful read. We find in this novella read we find that Emma's brother, Noah has plans to 'set up his sister with his someone'....with Noah's match making skills would he pick out the right male for his sister? Who would be right for his sister Emma? With Emma's brother wedding is coming up and her being the maid of honor... she would now have to interact his Ian who was her brother clumsy best friend....now what would come of this? This is where I say you must pick up "New Bay Wedding" read to see what, why, and the how of it all. It will be a interesting sweet read.

Be ready for a real smooth quick read as this author delivers to its reader a well written dialog that I would recommend as a excellent novella.

This was a short read that picked up where we left off on Easter Holiday, another book by Dixon, so we meet up with some of the same characters we had been introduced to before. There was laughter, family, good friends and a wedding to plan and look forward to. There was also some unexpected romance, mixed signals and a happily ever after that didn’t look like it would happen.

Once again the book ended abruptly on page 54 when the e-reader showed 66 pages and I thought I still had a ways to go. I didn’t need to read an excerpt of another book when I felt there was more story to tell in this one. I will read the other books set in New Bay just to see how the story continues but this easily could have been longer to better develop the storyline which did have a lot of promise and would have given better closure.

I like this story the best of this author's....so far. In New Bay Wedding, Emma's brother, Noah, is getting married and she is the maid of honor, forcing her to interact with her brother's long-time friend. I thought the characters were more developed in this story and there was more of a plot to it. It was still short, and I would have liked a little more, but it was satisfying. I really appreciate the author not using language in some places where she could have--she used alternate words. Cute, sweet romance.

Content: some clean kissing.

ENA'S REVIEW
This one has a romantic cover of course to go with the wedding theme, the happy couple and could that be a charming rustic church in the background? So Emma has "match maked" her brother Noah, now in this novella he decides it's his turn to set up his younger sister with a suitable male. The question is who is the right one for Emma, and will Noah's match making skills pick out the right male for his sister.
This one is again a romantic novella, the type that has you Oooing and Aaaing in all the right places.
I really hate being repetitive but I have to say its another 5/5
