Logan Green was the match and her body was lighter fluid waiting to explode.

This book was worth EVERY. SINGLE. SECOND. of the wait. GAH! I feel like I've been waiting for Logan's book forever. The man went from the adorkable deputy to sinfully sexy Dom in seriously the blink of an eye and I've been waiting with bated breath for this man to finally get his HEA. And let me tell you friends, his HEA was EVERYTHING.

Like every menage relationship in this series, there's always one man that's beyond ready to settle down while the other one is the broody and broken one that doubts his place. So of course Logan and his beautifully broken self was the later. He went through a life altering experience and it turned everything he knew upside now. It's been years and he still hasn't recovered but his Dom training in Texas gave him the respite that he needed. But now he's back in his hometown of Bliss and dealing with every emotion that he pushed down into the darkest parts of his soul.

Seth is Logan's best friend since they were just kids. They grew up together but where Logan's childhood was warm and loving, Seth's was anything but. Now the man is a successful billionaire and he's more than ready to settle down with the woman of his dreams. There's just one problem. That woman is in love with his best friend and that best friend refuses to admit that he needs them as much as they both need him. Enter all of the angst and emotion!

Of course this wouldn't be Bliss if there wasn't some mystery and action thrown in. So if you've been waiting to see who is after John Bishop after reading Once Upon a Time in Bliss, you'll get those answers here.

But so much of this book is Logan coming to terms with his experiences and opening himself up. This was probably my favorite part of the story. I absolutely adored the way that Lexi handled his healing process and my heart broke at the full details of his torture and what he went through.

Admittedly I was a little afraid I wouldn't like Georgia after I first met her in Siren Unleashed. She came off as a spoiled and slightly fluffy character. But then by the end, you can see that there's more to her. And that more definitely gets expanded on here. Georgia is a character with plenty of depth and I loved seeing her true personality come out. She's fierce and loyal and impossible not to love.

This was probably my favorite in the series so far but I'm already rabid for more!

Ok, this one got me in the feels. I didn't realize how bad the torture was done to Logan back in book 5. I wanted to cry for him when he confessed what truly happened.

I thought I was going to struggle with Logan's book because he was just this silly half man/half kid in all the previous books. After the incident in book 5, he was a different person.

I know this series sometimes crosses over into the Texas Sirens series and I'm wondering if Georgia was introduced there first. If she was, she really didn't sound like a character I would like. After hearing the reason she behaved the way she did through her thoughts in this book, I get it. I can see what caused that behavior and I'm kind of glad I got to know her in this book first. I am still going to tackle the Texas series soon.

Seth was Seth. I hate to say it, but nothing stood out to much for him in this book. I liked him as part of the three but this book seemed to be more about Logan and Georgia's growth.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and getting back to the many characters in the town of Bliss. However, I am worried about Henry. I thought his and Nell's story was over but it looks like there may be more for that couple.

_
Rereading for the third time at least, and yeah... this gets 5 stars from me. It's not perfect, but it's such a feel-good story and it makes me honestly so happy.
-
Possibly my favourite book in the whole series. It's been a true delight watching Logan mature over the course of the books, from a fun-loving teenager terrified of his mums to a grown man who'll never let life beat him down again. We first see him meet Hurricane Georgia in one of the Texas Sirens books, and their enemies-to-lovers thing had me DYING.

Seth is a little less well-sketched out IMO, which is why this book gets 4.5 stars - to be totally honest, Logan and Georgia just overshadow him.

Bliss, Colorado. A place where aliens land, sasquatch sightings are regular occurances, and the ethical treatment for all things leather is a way of life. The town takes pride in their highest ranking in the state for murder. But tourists beware. While the town welcomes all it's not a good thing to disturb the sheriff when he's fishing or step out of line when funds are needed to buy new items for the jail. Just sayin'

OMG. I'm gonna go the 'Goldilocks & the Three Bears' with this review so bear with me.
Many books are just too small and skim the surface in presenting a story that may have a lot going on and all but fail to provide any depth or layering to flesh out the book beyond the central plot and characters. On the other hand there are books that go way too deep into minute details, twists and turns, back stories that have no impact on the actual storyline, or repetition that end up dragging the content into a boring journey for me the reader. But. There are books that are just right. They build off of the world building and characters to bring it all to life in such a way that can only be described as "genius with a side of perfection" which is the case for me with this book.

First and foremost is a word of warning. This is a series book that really really builds off the previous installments in the "Nights In Bliss" and "Texas Sirens" series. If you haven't read either or both of these series you won't be able to appreciate this one as the main characters (and secondary ones too) have back stories and life experiences that are meaningful in this book only if you understand what those life experiences are. If you read this book without having done that you have absolutely no reason to blame the author if you got confused or lost while reading this book. It really isn't a standalone per se.

Sophie Oak. The trouble you've gotten me into. Reading your books in public is just asking for trouble. While having lunch at a sit down restaurant I took time to read only to have people giving me the evil eye or wonder 'what the heck' when I'd burst out laughing, wipe away a tear, or snort/groan/gasp/pound the table with my fist. How you can get me from laughing to crying to anger in one chapter is truly amazing. I know I've sent you a message about this before but seriously. Put some warning tags on these books won't you?

Logan Green - described by the author as a thowaway chararacter - has been running from Bliss since the drug cartel tortured him when he was a sheriff deputy. He's been able to convince the majority of people trying to 'help' him in the last few series book installments that he's over it all but there are those who know better. One of them being Seth Straton, childhood best friend now multi billionaire computer genius. How Seth sets the stage for Logan to return to Bliss and move on and the plan to include dumb blonde Georgia into their relationship was extremely cunning and devious to the point I now think Seth should be elected mayor and new king of Bliss instead of Stefan. Mmmmm. Might be something to consider. lol

This is a book in the series that went way more deep and nitty gritty than many of the others. I do have to say that the previous book "Once Upon A Time In Bliss" was one of the weaker books in the series for me. But after reading this one I have a whole new take on it but can't change my opinion in that one as for that book at that time that's how I felt. I'm so sorry for being a doubter because this series rocks and this book in it is my all time favorite.

The adult content incorporates mild BDSM elements with mfm and mf play scenes that were so smoking hot I needed to run to town to purchase more batteries to get me through this book. This is an author who KNOWS what she's writing about so the little things like differentiation between a Dom and a Top where many stories lump the men as Doms is telling. And it is with gratitude and appreciation that the author actually worked in the slant that Georgia, who wanted to pursue BDSM but hadn't actually played yet, did know basic BDSM protocol and behavior. It bugs me when it's written in that a character had researched BDSM and such but needs extensive instructions, etc. when the action starts up. Bravo.

Loved loved loved this book and have a new appreciation for many of the characters who have had their stories told in previous installments. I am left with one burning query for the author though.......
Who's next? I can't stand the suspense of not knowing. :D

And. Is there a site/store to buy a "I shot a son of a b*tch" club T-shirt. Seriously. I want one.

This was book 9 in the "Nights in Bliss, Colorado" series. Logan Green is back in Bliss two years ago he went through help he was beaten and tortured by the Russian mob. He went to Dallas with Wolfe so Leo could work with him. Seth Stark who was his childhood friend has been doing be lot to help Logan behind the scenes. Georgia Dawson is the little sister of Chase and Ben she also has three other brother's Win is the oldest. Georgia was a spoiled rich brat whose father cut her off she was kidnapped and shot when Logan rescued her and although she gets on his nerves he likes her but he doesn't think he is good for so she leaves Dallas. Right months later Logan is back in Bliss to help with the Sheriff's office while Cam is on leave. Seth who has planned this reunion has had a cabin built comes to Bliss and brings Georgia with him he knows that she is the one. This was a good read Logan wants Georgia to be his sub he trained with Julian and Leo to become a Dom of course Seth paid all his fees. Logan has a few secrets that he is hiding and shame and anger and because it's Bliss some members of a Mexican cartel is looking for one of their own. This was a good read with hot sex scenes and action. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Ahhhhhh back in Bliss. I love Bliss and I wish I could find this town because I would move there immediately.
It was great to finally find out what really happened to poor tortured Logan long ago in that office and to give him some closure.
This was a great story of growing up, finding self worth, trust, healing, and forgiving yourself and others. All three of these characters were perfect for each other and completed each other. They all still have a ways to go but they are on the right track for their hea.
As usual, it was wonderful to see past favs. and WOW, I can't wait to see what happens with the "Henry" storyline. I'm intrigued by his brothers and foresee a story for them. Yay.
Laughed out loud about the "spanks" reference. I can relate.
I want to read more about Georgia's brothers. My only complaint was the rushed possible relationship between Winter and

At first I was like this was soooo close to five stars but you know what F*ck it because that's what I am giving it, after sitting down to compose my thoughts about the book and really think about everything there wasn't anything that I didn't like about it and that deserves FIVE STARS!!!

Oh my poor Logan, my heart broke and then broke again for him. I remember reading about his torture at the hands of a member of the Russian Drug Cartel a few books earlier but we get so much more detail about it here and OMG totally had me balling because I loved Logan in every book he was in, from the gangling kid to the slightly dorky sheriff's deputy to the hulking Dom. Logan just always called to me for some reason and I couldn't wait for him to get his HEA.

Seth and Logan were best friends from childhood and always did everything together so it was only natural that in their teenage years the said they would find the perfect woman for them to marry and share, like some of the other families in Bliss, CO. This is where Georgia comes in, I hadn't met Georgia yet but I know she was in  Siren Unleashed, which was about two of her brothers. Georgia met Logan in that book and then went to work for Seth, which brings about how they all know one another in this book.

Seth played a big part in the previous book, Once Upon A Time In Bliss, with helping John Bishop and some of that story continues over into this one so I would recommend reading that book before this one so you have a basic understanding of what is going on.

Lexi Blake thank you for taking the time to spell out the differences between a Dom and a Top because we have both here and unlike other books where everyone is either a Dom or a sub we get to see the how a Dom and Top are different with their sub.

If you enjoy MFM Triad/Menage Relationships that have a tortured Hero (in more ways than one) and a bratty sub then grab a copy of this book, I really think you will enjoy it as much as I did.

Happy Reading!!!

From the start of this fantastic series, I knew I would fall in love with Seth and Logan. And I sure did along with Georgia—who really is the perfect woman for them.

Now all Seth needs to do is prove it to Logan. Well, and get Georgia on board with his plan too. Because Seth is nothing if not a master planner. And he's got big ideas about a lifetime with Logan and Georgia.

And whoa, I'd sign up! Seriously! I loved the dynamic between these two best friends—two friends who don't quite realize how much the other is hurting. And then there's Georgia. She's the perfect balance between Logan and Seth and, hot damn, their sexy-times are hot AF.

I couldn't read Back in Bliss fast enough to make sure Seth, Logan and Georgia all found their HEA. And I want more from this fantastic Nights in Bliss, Colorado series. ~ Missy, 5 stars

We've been building up to Logan's book ever since we saw him tortured at the hands of the Russian Mob in Found in Bliss. Since then he's been a regular recurring character in both the Nights in Bliss and Texas Sirens series and it's been obvious to everyone that he hasn't been coping at all with what happened to him. He's no longer the happy go lucky young man we first met and instead he's closed off and angry with the world. It's understandable considering everything he went through but it's still been hard to watch.

Georgia and Logan had a connection from the moment they met in Siren Unleashed. She initially came across as a snobby rich girl who looked down on everyone around her but as we got to know her I started to realise that she's actually quite sweet underneath the hostile persona she shows the world. Logan didn't know what to make of her acerbic personality but the spark between them was fierce and I loved watching her rock his world. Logan helped save her life when she was in danger but that didn't stop him pushing her away afterwards. He's lost trust in the world and isn't willing to let anyone close to him.

At the start of Back in Bliss it's been months since Georgia and Logan last spoke. Georgia moved to New York and is working as an assistant to hot billionaire Seth. Little does she know that Seth is Logan's best friend from childhood. He's also a master planner and although he ended up in Georgia's life because he wanted to protect the woman his friend cares about he fell in love with her too and now he's determined to create a family for the three of them the way Logan and Seth always planned as children.

Logan hasn't been back to Bliss since he ran away from his friends and family and moved to Dallas. He's so stuck in his own head that he can't bear the thought of being back in the place where he was tortured and he's basically trying to pretend to himself that Bliss doesn't even exist. It takes a lot of manoeuvring on Seth's part to get Logan back in the town and now he's going to pull out all of the stops to convince both Georgia and Logan to give the three of them a chance at a loving relationship.

While all of the books in both of these series work as stand alone stories I do highly recommend reading at least the books I mentioned above if you want to get the most out of Logan's story. He's such a complex character that you really would be missing out on the full depth of his history if you started here. I really enjoyed seeing him finally start to open up about what happened to him and how it has affected him, it's only with Georgia and Seth's help that he's able to start to come to terms with things and put it all behind him. One of the things I love most about Bliss is all the quirky characters that live there and we get to see all of our favourites here as they welcome Logan and Seth back into the fold and welcome Georgia into their hearts. This is actually a place I'd really love to move to! Back in Bliss was a fitting end to Logan's journey and I'm looking forward to seeing him enjoying his happily ever after in future books.

Nobody does it better
Makes me feel sad for the rest
Nobody does it half as good as you
Baby, you're the best

Is it a bit creepy that I feel this way about an author? Perhaps. Ms. Oak pulls me out of another reading funk. I really loved this story. I've been waiting to see how Logan survives horrendous torture by Russian mafia and moves on. The sweet boy went from gently cruising through life to crash and burn. And boy did he burn - drinking, whoring, drugs...I felt badly for Logan. How does a person recover from three hours of bodily torture through beatings, burns, staples, slicing and... I never figured it out. Did he get reamed in the ass repeatedly? It's possible. It wasn't exactly clear to me.

In this book, we finally meet Logan's "brother in arms", Seth. Seth is like Julian and Stef. Where do all these alpha males come from? I swear, one of the reasons why I love Ms. Oak's stories so much is because of her well written males. I admit it. They are a fantasy. Of course they aren't perfect, but dayum, they are men - back to the days when men were men. None of this metero-emasculating shit.

Once again, Ms. Oak wows and moves me with her character development. I teared up several times as we learn more about Georgia and Logan. Seth was very clearly a secondary character here. I felt badly for the shit happening to both characters. But without these experiences, they wouldn't have grown and we can see how both characters grew up and it's a treat. I love it. Ms. Oak once again creates this sense of family which is so bloody appealing. Another beautifully erotic tale penned by the talented Ms. Oak.

The BDSM in this story is light, as expected for a Bliss story. It's sweet. The menage is well done as always. This story is highly recommended to kinky menage lovers who enjoy a bit of angst.

Logan Green is back in Bliss, he isn't exactly happy about it. In Bliss he has to face his past and his demons, even the demons he sees in the mirror. And we finally find out what really happened in that office a year ago.....

Logan's story is a long time coming. If you are a Sophie Oak fan, then you know his history in this series and the hard path we have taken with him. He is our favorite son. And we have all been waiting for his HEA. Sophie Oak does not disappoint (as usual), she gives us exactly what we are looking for with just the right amount of humor (Max is up to mischief again) and smoking HOT bedrooms. I discovered Sophie Oak about a year ago when I sat and read the first four Texas Sirens series books in one weekend. (I felt a little dehydrated after that one...LOL). I fell in love with her writing style immediately. Her books are not for the timid reader, they are "in your face", dream worthy, HOT erotic stories that have a true path and storyline. And though I appreciate the erotic content, I am totally in love with the residents of Bliss. They make you laugh, charm you, and you find yourself cheering for their HEA. Love every one of them! Her 2 series, switch back and forth, the characters moving from Colorado to Texas and back. So you really have to start at the beginning of Texas Sirens to fully fall in love with all of them.

This book was a long time in the making!! And I have been more than ready for it's release!

I love Logan and it is so great to see him finally get his sh!t together!! I also love Hurricane Georgia with all her sass! I just wish she were not so doubting about her curves and self-worth. And Seth completes the trio with all his charm and manipulation!!

All three are flawed characters who struggle to find their place. They really work well together and have such an interesting dynamic. I loved seeing their growth from past books. Of all the characters in this series I think this group had the farthest to go to get to their HEA! It makes it so much sweeter in the end.

Once again Ms Oak delivers a tale with heart, steam and humor!! Delicious!!! Definitely a great example of why she is one of my favorite naughty authors, heck a fav author period!

Sophie knocked it out of the park with the newest installment of the Bliss series, Back in Bliss. This was a wonderful story of growth, forgiveness, love among other things. I loved this story and now I can't wait for book #10. :D

I liked Georgia. She was rather bratty at first but as things progress she grows up. She decides to take more charge of her life and becomes a pretty cool woman. Georgia and Logan have a past (from book #7 of the Siren's series) and she feel in love with him. Unfortunately due to many very messed up things that Logan went through (from a couple of previous books in the Bliss series) he didn't feel he could be with her and they split ways. She ends up in New York working for Seth (who is Logan's best friend but she doesn't know this) and her and Seth develop feelings for each other.

Seth has always wanted a shared wife for him and Logan. When he meets Georgia he knows she's the one. He started setting up a grand plan to get Logan back to Bliss when the timing is right and attempt to bring the three of them together. Seth is a very smart guy. I really loved how he handles Georgia's brothers! Classic! Seth makes some mistakes but he rebounds quickly and he's really sweet and the thoughtful one of the two men (he remembers the little things like her favorite flower and such). Logan is more of a Dom and not as hung up on the day to day details so they make a good team for Georgia.

While there are some issues getting Logan to come around, Georgia and Seth aren't willing to give up on him and try to get him to see how good the three of them could be. Fortunately this prompts Logan to actually work to get past his issues and the anger he's always feeling. Sophie did such a great job with Logan's development and I loved seeing him open up and heal. This is a very poignant and moving story. But (as with all Bliss books) there is also an action plot line where danger comes knocking for the trio. Henry's past shows itself along with interesting news

This story was great and I loved it. I'm so happy for Logan, Seth & Georgia. They make a great trio and I loved their book. I will be rereading it and highly recommend it and the whole series. 2 thumbs way up! :D

Anytime Lexi Blake takes readers back to Bliss, Colorado, in her Nights in Bliss, Colorado series, it’s a given that there is going to be a heavy dose of quirky characters, beyond steamy and erotic scenes, a salacious amount of sexual tension, and a litany of suspenseful, dramatic, and hilarious moments along with characters who need to deal with their pasts in order to have the futures that they want.

Since I’m a huge fan of this series, I’ve seen Logan Green as a supporting character in a litany of scenes in previous books, so the fact that he was finally having his story told had me anxious to head back to Bliss and witness Logan find a way to work through his past while still remaining in his hometown, and hopefully, find a way to be back where he belongs with his best friend by his side and one dynamic lady between them, sharing in everything they want to give her and giving unconditional love in return.

It’s clear, from the start, that Georgia Dawson affects both Logan and Seth Stark, which is perfect, considering that these two men grew up together, know everything about one another, and share a bond that won’t break regardless of the time passed or the fact that Logan’s been in a bad place for quite some time. I enjoyed the separate times that Georgia had with both men, but what I most wanted to see was just how much time it would take for Logan and Seth to get back their friendship and revel in the fact that they can make things right this time.

Because these characters have been a part of the series for quite awhile, readers can verify just how much they’ve grown up, how much they’ve changed from the people they were into better versions of themselves and despite the fact that there are still significant hurdles to jump over for these three, I never lost hope that they would find a way because not only did they deserve their happily ever afters, but the fact that they never stopped fighting to reach their dreams, even when it seemed hopeless is exactly why they would get everything they wanted and more.

It’s always difficult to say goodbye to characters who have been a part of your life since the start of the series and because the people of Bliss, Colorado, are one of a kind, it’s even a bit harder to leave them, but I know that anytime I want to visit this small town haven for people down on their luck, looking for a second chance, I only have to head back to Bliss through one of the stories and I’ll be reminded all over again, just how special the town and its inhabitants are.

Every time I go into one of these books I think there is no way it can be as good as the last. At some point in time, the antics of the citizens of Bliss will seem repetitive or less entertaining. Or the couple's journey to happiness will be less touching. And every time I'm proved wrong. Every time I finish one of these books I am ecstatic over what I've just read and so happy to have gotten yet another funny, heartwarming, steamy, just amazing book. This author has officially moved herself into an auto-read status for me when it comes to the Bliss and the Siren series.

This time Logan and Seth have a lot of stuff to work out if they want a happily ever after with Georgia. And after past events, Logan's not even sure he wants or deserves that happy ending. Seth has to come to some realizations about himself and Georgia has a little growing up to do. But it is all written in such a way that I couldn't stop turning the pages until the last one had been read. I needed all the suspense and the dominant protective men, and the strong capable women, and just everything that makes these books great. I stayed glued to the pages as this story unfolded and now I'm both happy with what I read and sad that it's over and I now have to wait months for my next fix.

I have read every one of these books for the Nights in Bliss series and have loved every one of them, but this one is beyond excellent. I have wanted Logan's story for a while now and was so happy to have it finally.

If you have read this series, you will know Logan was a sweet and innocent young man from the beginning of this series. I loved him from the start and was horrified about what he went through books ago brought tears to my eyes. Moreover, over the course of the following books seeing the pain and the issues he was having because of it was heartbreaking.

Georgia and Seth are friends of Logan and when everyone ends up back in Bliss things start working out for them. However, Logan still has many issues to work out when it comes to his attack. Georgia and Seth are just the people to help him through those issues if he wants a future with them.

I loved this story and couldn't put it down. Back in Bliss is a must-read.

5 Star Review Back In Bliss (Nights In Bliss Colorado #9) by Sophie Oak

I have been waiting for Logan Green’s story from the first time he was mentioned in the series. He intrigued me so much and I was so excited when I knew that this was his book; this story was every thing I hoped for and so much more.

Back in Bliss to help Nate out, Logan is shocked to find Seth Stark and Georgia Dawson walking down the street. He let Georgia go once before but he is worried that he won’t have the strength to do it again, especially if Seth has anything to do with it. Seth knows what he wants and that is to share the woman he loves with his best friend, Logan.

As anyone who has read the previous books will know, Logan has been struggling for years trying to get past the pain and trauma that he has been through. He pushed everyone who loves him away, shattered beyond belief knowing that he has let everyone down.

It was heartbreaking to read what he had survived and yet hope blossoms that he might actually be able to grab onto the happiness he so richly deserves by sharing Georgia with his best friend, Seth.

I absolutely adored all the characters particularly Georgia, what a feisty, sassie and determined woman she is; she is absolutely perfect for Logan and Seth.

When danger lands on Logan, Seth and Georgia’s door step, Logan and Henry do what they need to do to keep Seth and Georgia safe with the support of the other men.

I loved seeing all the characters that I have come to love pop in and out of the story as we
catch up on their lives. I adore the quirkiness of the characters who call Bliss home and I cannot wait for the next adventure in Bliss.

I'm not exactly sure how it happened, but when I realized that a new book had come out in this series (Book 12), I found that I somehow had skipped right over book 9. And it was Logan's book! I have no clue how that happened.

Logan has been a staple in this series for a very long time. We meet Logan when he is a young and impressionable (and very innocent) cop in Bliss, Colorado. Unfortunately, we also have to live through his trauma and it was NOT a pleasant experience. At. All. Logan has escaped to Dallas and is trying to move on, but he isn't succeeding.

Enter Seth and Georgia. I'm not sure if Seth was ever in any of the other books, but if he was, I don't remember him. Georgia meets Logan in Dallas and develops a crush on him. Logan, of course, is not at a healthy place in his life so he pushes her away. He finds out she has settled in New York and asks his best friend to watch over her. He has no idea that Seth has plans. Boy, does he have plans.

So, that is the foundation of their story. And, because this is Bliss we are talking about, there are bad guys involved. Lots and lots of bad guys.

I really liked this book. I like the series period, but there are some books that I like more than others. This was one of them. I'm not sure if it was because I already liked Logan and was invested in his story, or if it was because of the storyline surrounding this trio. There is plenty of drama, plenty of action, lots and lots of sex (duh) AND we get to see the town react and protect their own. Of course, I also loved getting to see the existing characters. Getting to laugh with Nell and Henry (who in this book is still Henry), chuckle at Nate because someone is always screwing in his office, and smile at the antics of Rye and Max.

Seriously, how can you not love all of them?

❝ What we gave you, the life we made for you…it means more, Logan. I have to believe that a lifetime of love means more than three hours of pain. ❞
I think Logan's worst moment occurred in book 5 (Found in Bliss) and I was happy to find that in this installment he would find his HEA. His story broke my heart, so it was great watching him find a way - and the people who could help - to heal it.

Since Lexi has said the next book in the series "... is a reunion book, which shares an overall story arc and many crossover characters with the Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss series. This is not a stand-alone." I'll hold off on it until/unless I read her Texas Sirens series.

Logan Green hasn't been back in Bliss in quite some time. He's been popping up in SO's other series, Texas Sirens, but he's back now and I'm sure his moms are happy about it. Poor Logan, though, isn't so sure. He still has anger issues and this comes across in his interactions with other Bliss residents but then Georgia and Seth come back to town and we really get into it. This is a great story that had me wishing for the old Logan that loved comic books and slept at his desk while on the job. But characters grow too and Logan needed to grow. Is there more to come after this book? I hope so because I don't think I could take this to be the end of one of my favorite series ever.

REVIEW: BACK IN BLISS is the ninth instalment in Lexi Blake’s (aka Sophie Oak) contemporary, adult NIGHTS IN BLISS COLORADO erotic, BDSM, ménage romance series focusing on the men and women of Bliss, Colorado. This is Dom Logan Green, billionaire businessman Seth Stark, and PA Georgia Dawson’s story line. BACK IN BLISS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion.

WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise including violence and sexual abuse, there may be some triggers for more sensitive readers.

NOTE: BACK IN BLISS is the release of the 2013 novel written as Sophie Oak with additional content.

Told from three third person perspectives (Logan, Seth, Georgia) BACK IN BLISS follows the fractured relationship and dynamic between Dom and sheriff’s deputy Logan Green, billionaire businessman Seth Stark, and PA Georgia Dawson. Two years earlier Logan Green’s life imploded when the Russian mob destroyed Logan’s heart and his soul, breaking the man he once was. Unable to face the people he loved, Logan pushed everyone out of his life including his best friend Seth, and the woman they loved Georgia Dawson. Fast forward to present day wherein Logan is called to Bliss Colorado, the scene of untold horror and pain for our storyline hero. With no place to stay, Logan finds himself face to face with Georgia and Seth, who are in Bliss to work, or so Georgia has been told. What ensues is the rebuilding friendship and relationship between Logan, Seth and Georgia, and the potential fall-out as Seth and Georgia become collateral damage for sins of the past.

Logan Green and Seth Stark have been best friends for most of their life but the abuse Logan suffered at the hands of the mob broke Logan Green both inside and out. Seth Stark was desperate to reconnect with his best friend, and loving Georgia Dawson would definitely bring Logan back into the fold but Georgia believes Logan wants nothing to do with her since the day Logan rejected our story line heroine.

The relationship between Logan and Seth is a lifelong friendship that have been damaged by Logan’s inability to move on from the past. Seth hired Georgia as his business PA, and in an effort to reconnect with his best friend, Seth offers up a ménage relationship with the woman he loves. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including Henry Flanders and Nell Finn (Once Upon a Time in Bliss #8) as well as Logan’s two mothers Marie and Teeny, Dr. Caleb Burke, Georgia’s brothers Ben, Chase, Mark, Dare and Winter,; James, Noah and Hope; Cam,Callie and Sheriff Nathan Wright; and psychiatrist Leo Meyer.

BACK ON BLISS is a story of heartbreak, betrayal, vengeance and love; of a rekindling friendships, and a happily ever after. The premise is raw and gritty; the romance is seductive and passionate; the characters are charismatic, broken but on the mend. BACK IN BLISS is an angsty, spicy and intriguing story of second chances.

I am a HUGE fan of Sophie Oak and of her Siren and Bliss series. So I had been looking forward to Logan’s story for a long time. I was especially looking forward to Back In Bliss because of Logan’s heroine. I LOVED Georgia since she appeared the first time in this series ~ she was such a fun character and I couldn’t wait to read what havoc she would reek for Logan. lol I loved the banter between them in previous books.

As always with any of Sophie’s books, I was pulled right into the story from the beginning. One thing that I always look forward to is Sophie’s sense of humor in writing her characters and of course the smoking hot menage sex scenes. lol :) I am so hoping that Sophie writes about Win, Mark and Drew Dawson. I am seriously loving on Win!!

One of my favorite scenes was Logan’s first day back at work with Max and Caleb in the jail cells. So freaking funny~that entire scene~especially with Rachel!! Sophie writes some of the best characters and it amazes me the dialogue that she comes up with. I would love for these characters to live inside my head!! lol I was laughing long after I was finished reading that scene and it was a perfect example of the AWESOMENESS that is Sophie Oak. She has this unique way of blending the heartwarming with heartache along with a dose of nutty!!

I loved Seth and Georgia together. I loved the way that Seth treated her. They had some great scenes that were so sweet and sexy. I also loved that Logan was finally able to find the peace he needed in Georgia. The scene with Logan and Georgia in Nate’s office was another one of my favorites, especially when Nate shows up. lol I loved the three of them together and how they each brought something different but just as important to the relationship that made it all work. This is one of the things that attracts me to menage stories and Sophie is a master at menage stories!!

Back In Bliss was filled with laughter, love, tears, fun, excitement and some HOT sex. Definitely some *sigh* worthy moments. This has to be one of my favorite stories in the series. I will definitely be rereading.

I have to say that I thought the ending was a little sad. I’m hoping that this is not that last book that Logan, Seth and Georgia appear in. I cannot wait to read what happens to Henry and Nell and I am so looking forward to the upcoming wedding and birth of Jenn’s baby.

A great series that just keeps getting better with each new book. I am already looking forward to returning to Bliss. BEST OF THE BEST rating!!

I think that I would have liked this one better had I been up to date on the Siren series, so that I could know what Logan was up to in Texas. I thought about waiting to read this one, but knowing that Logan was coming home to Bliss, I just couldn't wait. I wanted to know if the new snarly Logan would ever get back to the sweet Logan.

I had a hard time liking Logan for much of this book and what we have seen of him in the last few. Yes, Logan went through something horrible, but he wouldn't let himself get past it. I hated how he kept pushing everyone away. I really liked the talk that Alexei had with Logan. I wanted Logan to really see what Alexei was saying, but even though he heard the words he wasn't listening.

I wasn't sure what to think of Seth. I liked what we saw of him in past books, but in this one he seemed to be little rich boy, one who only wanted to come back to Bliss as the big man. He didn't seem to realize that those qualities are not what those in Bliss like him for. The way that Seth was moving everyone around rivaled some of the things that Stef has done in the past. Part of me things it was just what was needed, but the other thought it was a little too late.

Georgia bugged me. Her whole dumb girl, I'm not good enough really grated on me. I hated how it seemed like she manipulated everyone around her by only showing them what she thought they would like.

I know it seems like I didn't like much, but that isn't true. I really liked how Logan and Seth saw James and Noah's family and realized that it was what they wanted. I was glad that they were able to find their friendship back and a women that fits both of them. I loved how Logan's mothers stepped in and talked to Logan, Seth, and Georgia.

I also really love how the town came together. Everyone had an opionon on Logan and what was going down. I loved Henry and Nell's secret. I hate to see Henry in peril again, but loved learning more about him. I an intrigued to see where things go from there.

Back in Bliss is the 9th book in the Nights in Bliss, Colorado by Lexi Blake. The main characters are Seth, Georgia and Logan. If you are familiar with the series, you are familiar with them too. If you are not, hop on the Bliss train!

Nine books into the Nights in Bliss, Colorado series and I am still enjoying the series! The town is as crazy as ever, Mel is still going on about the aliens and Nell is probably protesting about something as I write this review. While all the Bliss books are stand-alone, I would recommend reading Once Upon a Time in Bliss because there is plotline about Seth, Logan, and Henry in this book that began in OUATIB and continues in this one. If you don't read it, there will be no problem with understanding what is going on, but I feel like if you read the previous book you will enjoy this one even more. And OUATIB is one of my top reads for 2019, so I had to mention it.

Going even further back in the series, you will find "Found in Bliss", which is the fifth book in the series. It's the book where Logan goes through hell and made him the man he is when our story began. I wasn't aware of how badly Logan was affecting during the time I was reading Found in Bliss and I wasn't expecting Logan to have so strong feelings about it 8 months later, which in retrospect is something that should have crossed my mind.

I liked that the book was a second chance romance, but with a little twist. I am also happy that neither part of the triad had sex during the 8 months that passed from the prologue 'till the moment the story began. I loved how focused Seth was on getting the three of them together and been the glue. I love a man with a purpose.

The only thing I didn't like much, is how little time was spent on Nell and Henry. I thought they would have a bigger role in the story and I still don't feel like their story is complete. I hope that I will get my "Happy ending" closure for them soon. As you can guess from my rating, I would recommend the book.

This is the 9th book in the Nights in Bliss series. Lexi Blake has a suggested reading order of all of her books www.lexiblake.net. This is not a standalone book. My suggestion is to read in the order that the author suggests. There are a lot of cross overs in her books and if you don't read in her suggested order then you will miss out.

We meet Seth and Logan in the prior 'Nights in Bliss' books. In Found in Bliss you get some of the story of what happened to Logan and why he is so messed up. You see him again in Siren Unleashed and this is where you meet Georgia.

I liked this book but I didn't feel the connection like I have in her other books. I don't know why because her character development is so good. Maybe I am not anything like Georgia, the spoiled brat who is always fighting with Logan. I was so happy when Logan finally tells his story about being tortured by Luka. That was some crazy shit!!! The kink scenes were good and the final one was steamy!!

I learn life lessons with this author. In this book it was about people acting out. If someone is acting out they may just need a little attention to get them back on track. At least it works this way in the books.

Although I wouldn't call the ending a cliff hanger it did leave me with some questions about Henry and Nell. I am hoping there is another book with them.

Back in Bliss is Sophie Oak’s gift to her faithful readers. We’ve been reading about Logan Green through all the Bliss books, watching him grow up, and hurting when he was beaten by the Russian Mob.

Now we finally get to find out what happens to that boy after he recuperates. Along with Logan, we are also treated to the story of Seth Stark, Logan’s boyhood best friend, and Georgia Dawson, the girl they both love.

As with the previous Bliss books, the story is about people creating a family-not one based on blood, but based on close ties and deep affection and love. But it’s also a story about healing, moving past severe trauma and forgiving yourself for a momentary weakness.

Seth has become a multi-billionaire and plans to bring Georgia and Logan to Bliss so they can all live happily ever after. The problem is, he didn’t tell either Georgia or Logan about his plan, and they have differing ideas. Georgia is upset because she thinks she’s just a sex toy and Logan doesn’t feel that he deserves the happiness offered. And while they are working on these issues, a sinister force is lurking in the background. Can these three work out their problems and become a trio while dealing with someone who plans to kill them?

While this a stand-alone book, more than any of the previous books, it helps to know the background and understand Bliss itself. Having said that, this was a joy to read, with laugh out loud funny parts, places that made you cry, and above all give you hope. In short, it was Bliss.
