East Park #1

Exposure

Rate this book
My friends know me as Evan Cosette, a biochemistry major with a flawless GPA.

Everyone else? Well, they know me as Rylan Willow, erotic model for East Park Exposed.

The magazine has kept my tuition paid at East Park University. I just had to keep up the naive school-girl disguise on campus and my secret was safe, my two worlds separate.

Until Dallas. The gorgeous, disgustingly brilliant grad student who's teaching my bio class this semester.

Oh, yeah... he's also my new modeling partner.

I swore to myself that I wouldn't get distracted. Dallas has a girlfriend, and I have to get into grad school.

That was before sales went through the roof.

Before the photographer decided to crank up the heat.

Before every photo shoot left me gasping for breath.

So, who gets Dallas? Me... or Rylan?

“Every girl should lavish in the fame of being a porn star once in her life.”

Biology student, Evan Cosette has it made, no debt, lives in a nice house, gets to work with her best friend, Britain at a job where she gets primped up and beautified and all the time to concentrate on her goal of going to grad school at UC Berkley. She has one month left to keep up the double life, if she has it her way ” No guys ever have the opportunity to connect Evan Cosette to Rylan Willow.” Evan is a frumpy biology major who no one pays attention to, where Rylan Willow is a cover model for East Park Exposed, whose innocent-sexy-virginal look has every guy drooling for more
"Selling sex is like owning an ice cream truck. You make all your clients sticky and satiated, and they’ll remember to come back the next day when they’re hot and bothered and needing to be quenched."

Britain decides to expand their target audience to include women which means bringing on some man-candy to couple up with the women of EPE. Having already paired up Delilah and Adam, all she needs to find another guy for Evan, only it won’t be so easy, Evan is determined to stay on course to reach her goal and makes no time for men. The moment Britain sees Evan’s reaction to Dallas she quickly brings him on board, not only is a body of a god, he also happens to be the Biology grad student that aide’s in Evan’s class. Evan and Dallas are perfect together, sexual tension and teasing is enough to seal the deal.
“ I could reach back and unsnap my bra, or drag the fabric of my panties to the side and order him to stop teasing me, because that’s all this really is. A whole shit ton of teasing.”

Dallas was hesitant to take on this job but with the push from his girlfriend and her reassuring trust in him, he jumps right in finding himself lucky to pose naked with the one and only Ryan Willow. With the time Dallas spends with Ryan, it doesn’t take him long to connect Evan and Ryan, he talks her into spending some time with him, for the success of the magazine of course
“So… in order to calculate the ecstasy that I should be feeling, roughly how large is your dick?”

He cocks his head. “You’ve felt it. You tell me.”

The chemistry they share is off the charts, most of their sessions are done in private with little to no direction from Britain, but it’s getting harder and harder to resist the temptation. Dallas girlfriend act’s like she doesn’t care that he’s faux fucking with a sexy bombshell so it’s up to him to control himself. Ryan is beyond sexually frustrated, it’s been way to long and the way Dallas controls her in their shoot is enough to make her mad
“You are so lucky you aren’t single right now.”

My hands freeze on the loosened knot. “Why’s that?”

Without breaking her gaze from me, she says, “Because if you were, after putting me through that little number, I’d make you get me off.”

Exposure is a HOT STEAMY DELICIOUS read and I enjoyed every second of it. There is a book 2 but it’s just something to look forward too so I don’t mind one bit how it ended. I fed off the tension and the teasing, it was perfect, loving the concept of the book. Definitely a recommended read, there are editing opportunities in the book, but not too bad to distract me from the story.

That was HOT! Rawr!!! Loved me some Dallas!!! Hands down one of the hottest books with little to no sex!

The storyline....

By day she is Riley Willow the face of East Park Exposed....the University's erotic magazine. By night she is Evan Cosette a molecular biology student. She wants to keep her lives separate.

When the magazine looks to expand its fan base, they go co-ed. Enter Dallas. Dallas Whitley is a grad student in Evan's department. In need of some cash, his girlfriend applies for him to model for EPE. When Dallas and Riley meet and start shooting together....

Hello sexual tension and more sexual tension and then a wee bit more sexual tension. Sweet baby Jesus I wanted Riley and Dallas to get it on. And finally, FINALLY....

They did it! They did it! They did it!!! I was so HAPPY!

The magazine goes national, Evan gets in to Harvard and Dallas has to spend 6 months in Costa Rica doing research. So many exciting things to come.

So listen....Iris, I popped on over to your author page to check out book 2, Dark Frame. November 2013??? And I'm pretty sure the blurb said Evan breaks up with Dallas???

If you could maybe just NOT have Evan and Dallas break up and maybe write a little bit faster....

Oh and if you need someone to read Dark Frame for you....test the hotness level, the chemistry between Dallas and Evan....pick me! Pick me!

WOW!!! Exposure totally surprised me on how steamy and smoking hot this book is. I devoured this book in one sitting and LOVED IT!!!

Exposure

Rylan Willow is the hottest cover model for East Park Exposed, an erotic magazine for East Park University. Rylan is marketed as the sweet innocent virgin girl next door. When she’s not Rylan Willow, she is Evan Cossette, a biochemistry undergraduate. She wears glasses, no makeup and sweats. No one on campus knows she is the same girl that male readers drool and swoon over.

Britain, the photographer and head of East Park Exposed, and one of Evan’s best friends, decides its time to spice up EPE’s magazine with the addition of male models.

Dallas Whitley, a grad-student , who happens to be in Evan’s department, is need in of extra funds so his girlfriend, Tricia, submits his photo to EPE for a modeling gig. When Dallas becomes her modeling partner, Evan’s two world that she tried to keep separate collides.

The photo-sessions between these two are just SCORCHING HOT and beyond words. All I can say, is just WOW!! The photo-shoot at the pool, office, car, shower and bedroom was HOT HOT. The sexual tension and chemistry between these two were palpable and had me hooked. Besides, the obvious attraction these two had for each other, the problem was that Dallas has a girlfriend.

Exposure2

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and could not put this book down. The alternating POV’s gave me the perfect insight to both their feelings and thoughts. Loved that we even got to know even their dirtiest thoughts. This book was full of sexual tension and more sexual tension. I was at 90% when these two finally ended the madness and finally got it on and it was so worth the wait. Iris Blaire definitely knew how to hook her readers because I could not put this book down. The photo-sessions alone was just oozing with steam and chemistry. Although the book was short, I am looking forward to Dark Frame (book 2) and more Dallas/Evan interactions.

How To Cook Up A Sexy, New-Adult Romance- The Iris Blaire version

Ingredients

1.) Infinity-Plus Kilos of Sexual Tension

2.) A deliciously handsome, yet sensitive love interest

3.) A wonderful, non-insecure heroine

4.) More than 750 grams worth of romantic fluffiness

5.) Lots and lots of pictures- no, not the ones that your family and friends hang up on the walls. No, I'm talking about those pictures which you hide under your pillow and peek at the raunchy, sexy feature issues under a thick blanket with a torch lit on in the dark. Yes, those type of pictures.

Side-On Dishes: A drizzle of melted chocolate, hot showers, a taste of the Dominant-Submissive kinkiness-->teacher-student role-playing, eye-fucking to the maximum and melted ice cream over lingerie.

Method

a.) Immediately immerse your reader in the sexiness and pure eroticism from the first word in the first chapter and onwards. Make sure the first sentence will be something that will make your readers giggle behind their mouths but secretly will have their curiosity aroused and their minds shocked by the casualty that you handle the subject of sex.

Selling sex is like owning an ice cream truck. You make all your clients sticky and satiated, and they’ll remember to come back the next day when they’re hot and bothered and needing to be quenched.

b.) SEXUAL TENSION!! SO MUCH SEXUAL TENSION!! Add this ingredient in great dollops. The more, the sexier, the better. Frustrate your readers with the excessive amount of sexual tension that is occurring between the two main characters. And frustrate them even more when they've gone past the halfway mark and the heroine and love interest still hasn't done the deed. Continually frustrate them with this fact and this would add more spiciness and hotness to your final book. KEEP ON TEASING YOUR READERS!

“I could reach back and unsnap my bra, or drag the fabric of my panties to the side and order him to stop teasing me, because that’s all this really is. A whole shit ton of teasing.”

When her hair brushes against my lips, something inside me snaps. Dancing with her like this is a slow, torturous death, and I can't take it anymore. I open my mouth and catch her earlope, scraping my teeth against her tender flesh. She moans my name softly and I almost lose it right there.

c.) Create an impossibly, impeccably, imperfectly, perfect love interest that will ruin your readers for any other man or woman. For life. Make it so that his dirty talk and his sexual innuendos will be blow your readers' ovaries away with a single line without any effort.

“Why do you want to watch my shoot?”
“To study you. I need to know how to move with you if you’re going to be writhing under me for the next month or so.”

d.) Create a sexy, original storyline that your readers will be immediately enthralled by. Your readers will love the idea of a quiet, biology student moonlighting as one of the sexiest pornstars alive.

“Every girl should lavish in the fame of being a porn star once in her life.”

FINALLY! Your dish is cooked to the maximum perfection and is ready to be served up. Your dish will be nicknamed, Exposure .

My Rylan/Evan and Dallas

description Dallas
____________________________________

Now that I had my fun, time to get to the rest of my thoughts about Exposure. Or well, it should rather be thought since I'm only thinking one thing about this read and it goes along on the lines of, Omg, this was so amazing. I love Dallas. Eeek, I'm so sexually frustrated now. Maybe Dallas can help me out?. And even then, my mind has been struck incoherent. I feel blinded by the pure decadence that is this book.

Exposure is this risque, titillating read and even though, the air of eroticism was so strong, practically pungent, it didn't seem trashy at all. It didn't seem like it was a book written for the sex-starved readers of the book community (So said one person I know when I was talking to them about this book. Don't worry, I took revenge by shrinking their clothes for daring and attempting to reduce Exposure to a pile of porn literature) and I was quite surprised by how well-written it was. Other than a few spelling errors and grammatical mistakes, for a self-published book, it was extremely well-written.

4 surprising good stars!

Got this an Amazon freebie. Freebies are usually relegated to my cloud reader and then forgotten but this one stood out. I mean, just read the blurb and you'll know what I mean. Reading it has been an awesome decision on my part since I ended up enjoying Exposure.

Rylan Willow is a model for their school's underground erotic magazine. She's every man's fantasy. But in real life, she's biochemistry student Evan Cosette. Evan is determined to keep her Rylan Willow persona a secret. After all, this is just a gig that pays her tuition, puts food in her stomach and puts a roof over her head. And this gig will also help pay for grad school, which was Evan's goal. She's cool and aloof and doesn't let anyone get too close until Dallas.

Dallas is a grad student who was hired as an attempt to broaden Exposure's readership. He's smart, gorgeous and totally off-limits. Off-limits because Dallas has a girlfriend. A girlfriend who tells him to forget that he has a girlfriend so he won't fell guilty shooting erotic scenes with a female model.

But from the moment they met, the attraction between Dallas and Evan/Rylan was potent. Their shoots were insanely hot and day by day, they find themselves giving in to that attraction. More so when Dallas discovered Rylan's true identity and ended up liking Evan even more.

Despite that, I still enjoyed the story very much. The writing is crisp, clean and very, very fresh. I'd definitely recommend this one to those who are looking for something new and fresh. And oh, this one ends in HFN not HEA. Dallas and Evan's story will continue and from looking at the blurb of the second book in the series, there will be turbulent times awaiting the couple.

Uniquely awesome! The whole book is just one big tease after another.

The office scene...

The shower scene...

The FREAKING CAR SCENE!!!

Think of erotica without the completion and with an actual storyline. Sometimes, erotica can get a little cringe worthy with its dialogue and plot.

The story was the right combination of steamy hot and a great read and it was a nice break from all the same old scenarios I have been reading lately. It's good to be surprised every now and again.

So....Loved it!

From a poor background, undergrad Evan Cosette is going to pay for her own tuition. How? By being the top model for East Park Exposed, her university’s underground and insanely successful erotic magazine. She lives in a shared house with another permanent model and the photographer for the magazine, Britain. To hide herself away as a model, she becomes the virginal persona in the magazine, dolled-up Rylan Willow, at university no-one knows who she is.

In order to spice up East Park Exposed, Britain brings in two male models to pose with the two permanent models, much to Evan's misfortune. Evan’s partner is a grad student, who also goes to East Park University, Dallas Whitley is gorgeous and brilliant... and has a girlfriend.

Things get complicated when their role-play photo shoots become more, and has her body begging for him, but how much of it is real?

This book is very steamy and well worth a read. There was loads of chemistry and sexual tension. It is different from the normal college romance reads. I knocked it down a star cause I felt the romance came suddenly.

Writing style: 9/10
Dialogue: 8/10
Characters: 8/10
Romance: 5/10
Hotness: 10/10
Uniqueness: 9/10
Ending: 8/10

Y no he podido soportar eso. NO. NO. Y NO.

Prefiere traicionar a quien ama. ¿Quizás debería llamar a Dallas "chico desesperado"?

description

description

Ella no traiciona, Evan Rylan lucha y pelea.

¿audaz?

Rylan Willow is the hottest model in the erotic magazine East Park Exposed. The magazine is super popular in the East Park University, not only among guys but also among girls. However only few know sexy Rylan Willow as Evan Cosette - a biochemistry major.

Evan is not interested in modeling, but modeling for East Park Exposed has kept a roof over her head, food in her stomach and her tuition paid, plus she has more time to study. Evan doesn't want people to know that she is THE Rylan Willow, therefore she tries to keep her two worlds separate.

Soon magazine wants to appeal not only to men readers but also for women readers, and they decide to partner Evan in the photo shoots with the gorgeous grad student Dallas Whitley. And then starts all the fun...

This was one hot story filled with sensual and sexy details. I loved it. The book was really orginal. After reading the blurb I was totally interested and excited to start reading it, and I am glad to say that I was not disappointed. I liked that Dallas and Evan met at the East Park Exposed and I loved their interactions in front of the camera. Most of which were super hot without them actually having sex. Actually the biggest part of the storyline happened in the East Park Exposed studio and in front of the camera, though the story didn't get boring. I am very impressed with the author and her storytelling abilities and I cannot wait for the sequel.

If you are looking for some original, short and hot read then I definitely recommend this book for you^^

Wow. This book was so predictable. Girl falls in love with new "co-worker". He has a girlfriend. He is ALSO in love with her. He doesn't do anything on the matter because of his girlfriend. Girl fucks other dude. "Co-worker" is hurt and angry. He then realises he loves his "co-worker" Woopy-doo. He breakes up with his girlfriend. "Co-workers" get together. They will be united forever.

Exposure by Iris Blaire

3.5 stars!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it was refreshing to read something so completely different to what we normally receive these days. It was a unique story. The opening line gets you gripped and intrigued…

“Selling sex is like owning an ice cream truck. You make all your clients sticky and satiated, and they'll remember to come back the next day when they're hot and bothered and needing to be quenched.”

Evan or Rylan…depending upon what scenario she finds herself is one cool/nerdy chick…how can that be you ask??? As Evan, she is Miss Prim and Proper…super intelligent, top of her class, quiet, timid, shy, just does everything she can not to be noticed…now as Rylan…that just opens a whole new can of whoop ass…Rylan is her alter ego, she is the girl that poses for a college lads magazine. She is super sexy, confident, snarky, glamorous and all the boys want her, they probably do things over her that I don’t even want to think about lol. Evan does not want anyone to associate her with Rylan and she goes to extreme lengths to ensure that her identity is never revealed, went dressed as Evan she is in her nerdy, geeky disguise. All this is about to change when Rylan is asked to do a photo shoot with Dallas.

Dallas, hmmmm all I can say is gorgeous, super sexy and best yet for Evan, super intelligent..in fact they share a class…as you can imagine this worries Evan.

The chemistry these two have is off the charts, you can feel it ooze off the page and their photo story throughout the books just drags you through all the emotions and confusion the two go through..unfortunately Dallas has been in a relationship for a long time. However, neither of them can deny what they feel and the pictures tell a thousand tales!!!

This book follows their story from beginning to end, the ups and downs and all in between. There are decisions to be made by both of them, which are not easy. Evan is still worried about her identity, at the end of the day she does not want anyone to know how she pays her way through college.

This book is perfect in length, in does not drag it out and it is not too short…it was a really enjoyable quick read. There is a lot of sexy scenes as you can imagine and they are seriously hot…like fan yourself hot, as I said above the chemistry between the two of them is amazing. I don’t normally condone “cheating” in any shape or form but this is a book and not real life, however I will add my two penneth as I know some will say it is bad…was his girlfriend really a proper girlfriend…she seemed so wrapped up in her own life to even care or notice what was going on with Dallas..and before you all shout at me I know she was working hard because Dallas wasn’t earning much as he was still in college…but what right minded girlfriend would actually enrol their boyfriend for modelling with other women…I wouldn’t hell no!! I know she trusted him blah blah blah but I think that the relationship had more or less run its course before Rylan/Evan even came on the scene. Also they never actually do the deed before, but get pretty darn close.

A fab fun read that I really enjoyed!!

WOOOOOOAAAAAAHHHHHHHH. WOAH!

Holy Sexual Frustration.

WOW. That was one steamy read.
This book should come with a warning like: Caution: Will leave you hot and bothered! or at least something like, Read at your risk.

"Selling sex is like owning an ice cream truck. You make all your clients sticky and satiated, and they'll remember to come back next day when they're hot and bothered and needing to be quenched."

Guess that very first paragraph will get any reader's attention.

Evan Cosette or better known as East Park Exposed's Rylan Willow is a badass character. I love her fuck-off attitude and she's also an excellent student. She keeps her sexy persona separate from her academic life and she doesn't like to bask in her fame as a sex symbol for every man or woman who read the magazine.

Dallas Whitley is a grad student who became associated with Evan/Rylan's two persona.
As Evan's temp teacher and Rylan's sexy photo shoot model partner. It's all twisted. Especially when cheating is an issue here. Dallas is/was taken and it's hard to stay faithful when you're around hot models.

As I said earlier, the modeling is wicked hot. Clue: Office. Shower. Car.

I wanted to give this perfect 5 stars, but I'm not satisfied with the ending. It was too fast-paced like the author just threw in a lot of things together. It was a bit overwhelming and I did not enjoy it. At least, the last 10 pages of it. Anyway, I'm still excited for the sequel and know what'll happen next to Dallas and Evan and East Park's sexiest porn magazine.

I learned long ago that I can never trust the ratings and reviews of New Adult books because they can be deceiving, so when I start reading a New Adult book I am going in blind, I never know what I'm going to get. This is one of the rare books that is New Adult (borderline erotica) that didn't disappoint!

3.5 stars Immensely readable and fun. Definitely adults only, however--I don't think I'd even put this in the New Adult category, although it is technically at the right age/time. It's just more erotica/soapy romance than anything else.

Rating: AWESOME. EPIC. FUN. SEXY. (Also: 4+ stars!)

Evan Cosette has a secret: She's also Rylan Willow, the top model for East Park Exposed, her university’s underground and insanely successful erotic magazine, to help pay for her tuition. The stage name and the magic of disguises keeps her low-key as she tries to live her peaceful double life (because how could her classmates take her seriously as a bio major when they've all seen her half-naked?) -- and it's all working out perfectly... until Dallas Whitley. Not only is he her new student professor, but he's also her new partner for the co-ed spread.

Yikes.

There's fun and then there's funtastic -- and let me just say that this book is funtastic times a million and two with sexy-sweet swooning and a very, very root-worthy pairing I absolutely love to death!

Exposure is another one of those surprise gems that seriously have me wishing I had enough time to read and re-read it over and over again. The chemistry between Evan and Dallas (and evidently Rylan and Dallas) are off the charts; the banter between them is quick, witty, and totally fun -- just the way I like it. And even the side characters (like Britain!) are totally fun too!

Is this NA? Probably not LOL, despite the fact that they're in college. Some of the scenes are crazy steamy to the extreme, but it's mostly just foreplay and seriously epic chemistry from Dallas and Evan's photo shoots together. But trust me when I say that you'll be dying to just shove them together into a relationship with more than work!

Exposure may not be perfect -- there were quite a few grammar mistakes and such, but nothing that took too much away from the story (and that's coming from a very picky English girl) -- but I'm giving you the double thumbs and toes up to get your hands on this ASAP! Because aside from that little tidbit, this book is definitely falling near the top of my favourite NA reads! It's sexy and fun and quite possibly one of the easiest books to read in one sitting.

Plus, I promise you're going to love Dallas. Mimi's honour ;) <3

Hell ya! On to book 2..

Rylan models for EPE magazine, Evan is a bio major in college. Rylan is Evan. She models soft porn because it puts her through college without student loan debt. She's hot but doesn't care. That's what makes her the exceptional model that she is. Rylan is a hot virginal sex kitten. Evan dresses in sweats, no make up and a bun. EPE has only been girl models, but it's founder/photographer/Evans BFF Britain is expanding and taking on male models.

Helllllllooo Dallas. Dallas is a grad student, not making much money at the moment and his girlfriend Tricia sets up an audition for him for EPE mag. Who the hell wants their hot ass man modeling practically naked with other half naked super hot chicks??? Umm, sorry, I'm just not THAT confident! And the kicker, she tells him it's ok and to pretend he's single while he's shooting so he can relax! WHAT THE FUCK.

Dallas ends up modeling with Evan and the sparks are flying at dangerous levels. They are magical. Sexy. And it is pouring out in the photos. Those photo shoots.....OH. MY. GAWD. The one is the car after dinner?? Did that make your panties combust?

Evan has tried so hard to keep her Rylan persona away from her Evan persona for the sake of school. She's hugely attracted to Dallas but he's off limits since he's in a relationship.
Dallas has been with Tricia for years but there is NO chemistry. That girl was an idiot! Dallas and Evan can't hide from the truth of their feelings. Eventually one of them lets out the truth in the spur of the moment. That confession changes everything! I was so happy with the ending and look forward to the next book.

I only have two words to say about this book:

SEXY.

FUN.

Actually, I have more words to say about this book. But those words sum it all up. Exposure is about a seemingly unassuming college girl who moonlights as the university's hottest model in East Park Exposed, the school's erotic magazine. Dallas is the guy who joins the shoot to make a little extra money, but what happens instead is SEXUAL TENSION EXPLOSION.

Seriously.

What I really loved about Exposure was that not only was it hot (and damn it was hot) but it also had great characters. I had no problem rooting for Evan/Rylan throughout the whole thing. She was a strong protagonist and an excellent match for Dallas, who was so realistic I could imagine him jumping off the page (I wish!)

The pace was fast but not too fast for some solid character development and sexual tension build-up. The prose is smooth and readable, and the idea itself is just so original - and lends itself to some creative steamy scenes between Evan and Dylan.

This is definitely my big recommendation for the summer. If you haven't read it yet, READ IT NOW. No excuses!

Holy Hotness! Loved the premise for this one and the chemistry was off-the-charts between Dallas and Evan. It could have been a real winning read. However, too much was missing in both character and storyline development, along with a multitude of silly and inexcusable errors. Oh how I wish for the use of proofreaders!

whew, it’s steamy. evan is living a double life. the girl who hides herself in baggy clothes and behind glasses whose major is in biochemistry is evan. the girl who model for the east park exposed erotic magazine is rylan. nobody in her school knows who she is but one guy named dallas. he turned up to audition for the magazine one day, and was immediately entranced by evan/rylan. the entire book is filled with the two of them figuring things out and battling their growing feelings for each other. i liked the book but the storyline was a little predictable and there’s a lack of story building. but i’m definitely reading the next book.

Holy guacamole!

I think I need a cigarette after reading this. And I don't even smoke. Lmao.

This was hot. This as sexy. The sexual tension between Evan and Dallas is off the charts. I'm looking forward to jumping into book two.
