I’m Cas... a mother, a wife, and a writer, amongst many other things.
I’m from Birmingham, England but now live in South Derbyshire with my family.
I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember but I first published a book in 2012, and my author journey has been a hell of a rollercoaster since then.
I write because I love to write, but also because I love to read. I adore the way a book can take a reader away from reality for a while, and I want to be in the driving seat... I hope you’ll come along on a journey with me soon.

"After all, everyone deserves a happy ever after!"

Let me start off by telling you that this was my first experience reading m/m romance!!! WOW! I was blown away! Cassandra did a marvelous job portraying a truly BEAUTIFUL love story. I absolutely adored Rafe and Mathew!!!!!!! ♥

"Love is" is a spin-off from the Mr Write Trilogy. Rafe and Mathew were my favorite secondary characters and I was SO HAPPY when I heard they were getting their own book. Timeline wise, this book takes place around the same time as the Mr. Write Trilogy. So yes, we see Jackson and Rosie and the rest of the gang. I do suggest that you read the Trilogy BEFORE this book since it contains a few spoilers regarding Rosie and Jackson's story. However, "Love is" can be read as a stand alone.
"I had to kiss a lot of frogs before I found my prince."

My heart melted and broke for Mathew and Rafe multiple times while reading this book. From the moment they met, they felt an undeniable attraction and amazing connection. As the got to know each other, their feelings quickly got genuinely stronger. Their relationship was SO SO SO beautiful. At first, I was a bit scared as to how I'd react to a m/m romance, but I'm glad I chose THIS book as my first experience. My heart smiled for Rafe and Mathew as they overcame their hardships and built a life together.
"I love you, Rafe, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me."

"They are the epitome of the word soulmates"

Rafe and Mathew were two exceptional characters. Things weren't always easy for them but I swear, together they could go against the world and in the end, come out stronger. They were THAT amazing. The things they said to each other made me swoon BIG TIME. They were each other's prince charming!!!! I mean.... WOW. How beautiful is that? There were also some pretty funny scenes. ALL the characters had an incredible chemistry that seemed to REAL and super natural.

Cassandra did a PERFECT job portraying the concept of absolute, true love. I could not be happier about how this book turned out.
I HIGHLY recommend you buy this book.
"...you have shown me what love really is. You have shown me that there is no greater feeling than waking up next to that one person that means more to you than anything or anyone else in the world. You have shown me how big the human heart can really be and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life by your side."

This reads almost like a journal or a diary. Just an imparting of information rather than an actual story.
It has its sweet moments but the stilted writing made it difficult for me to really get into the story.

I liked that there was no mucking around, both Rafe and Matthew freely admitted their attraction to each other and I really liked the premise of 30 days but other than that it was just boring. It seemed to go on and on without much actually happening.

I gave up just over half way through. I was just so bored with it and didn't care what happened.

The formatting of this book is really distracting, absolutely everything is underlined and it's really annoying.
As an aside, the percentage count didn't seem to be moving very fast so I flicked through and the book actually finished at 50% and then starts again only this time the whole thing is crossed out. Seriously weird formatting.

The one thing I like about this romance is that the leads play no games and are straightforward in acknowledging their attraction for each other right from the start.
As for the rest...
There is a specific tone the best romances achieve and in my imagination it is similar to a high-quality sparkling wine.
Here the leads are not exactly likeable (I was very put off by the fact that one of them, a martial artist, hits his ex who, despite being an a***ole, is not one) and the author spends much of her time judging people and situations instead of making them alive for her readers.
The end result tastes like oversweetened, flat soda.
I dropped it without finishing it.

4/19-Maybe I’m in a better place but I enjoyed this so much more the second time around. I think it was the diary style of writing Lewis used I couldn’t connect with in the first reading.

2/16-I'm going to use a word I don't remember using this word before to describe a book but this was so boring. Nice, sweet and boring.

Audiobook review

I'm of two minds about this book, On the one hand, I absolutely loved the narration, Joshua Ward was absolutely brilliant, and I hope he'll narrate more books to come. It wasn't perfect, byt that accent made up for that. As for the story...well that wasn't as good - far from it. The writing was messy and hard to follow. There were strange time jumps out of nowhere; switching tenses and it had this strange diary vibe to it that kept you at a distance from the story and the characters. I'm also not a fan of drama for drama's sake, where it doesn't add anything to the story more than manipulation of the reader of a filler, and this book had both. I do think that with more editing, fleshing out that the story would be better and easier to follow, and preferably more of a story. So in the end, I loved the narration, but could have done without the story.

I received an ARC from the author for an honest review ,,, I'd give 4.5 if I could

This is the story of Rafe (Rosie's brother) and Matthew (Rosie's ex Michaels brother)

This is a beautiful story of how two people can go through life wanting happiness but never quite finding it ,,, getting on with life ,,, meeting new people but never feeling that connection with anyone ,,, then out of nowhere BAM! There is is ,,, totally unexpected!!

This story covers a lot of the things that you will have already read in the three previous books from the Mr Write series ,,, I would recommend reading theme before this but because a lot of it is covered in this book you would probably get a good understanding of the goings on without having read them

This book deals with a lot of the issues that Gay couples may have to deal with through there own life experiences when it comes to relationships ,,, you'll read about guys not wanting to admit their feelings living a heterosexual life when clearly they are interested in guys too ,,, you'll read about prejudice ,,, and struggles

The thing I got from this book was an overwhelming feeling of pure love ,,, these two hadn't set out to find love but it happened ,,, they weren't looking for it ,,, rather it was looking for them ,,, they were obviously meant to be together ,,, each being the other half to their whole ,,, life isn't always easy regardless of your sexual preferences and love is something you have to work at ,,, these two wanted to work so they took the measures to make sure they didn't lose each other before they had even begun

My favourite part of this book is without a doubt the ending ,,, it's not an approach I've seen before and I loved it

This is a great book and a beautiful story of a friendship, a love, a family coming together to make a whole!!!!

What a fabulous story this is. It's a spin-off from the Mr White Series. Although I see it's recommended you read the other books first I haven't and I can honestly say while reading this I didn't feel I was missing anything by not reading them.
The sexual tension through the first part of this was amazing. I've not read many M/M books so I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This story had lots of lovely factors that I enjoy in a book. Love, family relationships & the sex:)
I found this to be a lovely easy-reading romantic story with a brilliant ending. The last few pages is not what I expected.... It was better than I expected.
The author did a brilliant job on this story. I'll definetly be looking into reading more of her work.
Received from author in return for an honest review.

Are you tired of the typical love story? Are you ready for a fresh one? Then this book is for you...TRUE LOVE KNOWS NO BARRIERS. The characters in this story are truly loveable, realistic and down right funny. Cassandra knows how to build relationships amongst the characters that you will fall in love with. I personally have 2 brothers who I adore.....so this story really warmed my heart. Take a chance on a different type of love story...you won't regret it!

This was good. Not a lot of sex scenes but that's okay; it was kind of nice to read just a plain ol romance novella. I think I probably should have read the original series first cause now I know a lot of what happens but oh well. I would definitely recommend this to my friends. especially the ones who are just starting out with the M/M genre.

Okay, here’s the deal! I love Rafe and Matthew. They are great characters. However, this story would’ve needed a lot, an I mean A LOT of editing. The writing is sloppy, the plot is lacking depth and the weird time jumps and POV jumps are just... no. This could’ve been a five star read with the right editing. It’s quite sad really.

And the on top of it all, the narrator stressed me out.

I absolutely loved this book! I really enjoyed the Mr Write series and was thrilled when I saw that Rafe and Matthew were getting their own story as they were the perfect couple.
I love the way this story was told as a memoir as Rafe and Matthew are writing down their story together.
It’s 30 years after we last saw Rafe and Matthew in the Mr Write series and when their daughter Etta asks them both the question of how they knew they were in love and to be together forever. This prompts Rafe to start writing their story of how they first met, first date, proposal, wedding and every other moment that came along over their lifetime together raising their three children.
I laughed and cried my way through their story. I also loved seeing the glimpses of Rosie and Pippa throughout.
This is the first time I’ve read a love story where both main characters were male and I have to say I enjoyed it way more than I expected. There are quite a few steamy scenes but they are well placed and just added to the story. I loved it!

As memoirs go this one is quite enjoyable. Writing down their lives and relationships, hurts from the past and their beginning to this moment takes the reader on a journey with Rafe and Matthew. Both of them are extremely likable. The investment you make while reading is strong. I found myself hoping with them and enjoying their successes and feeling their hurt. This book was a delightful excursion into the lives of these two men and a pleasing one at that.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

After reading and enjoying the Mr Wright trilology I was looking forward to this book and it didn't disappoint. There wasn't any big dramatic scenes no edge of the seat drama but a story about real true honest love that we all hope to find one day. Rafael and Matthew story is one of true passion and love which you could feel throughout the book.
I really enjoyed this and read with 24 hours as I loved the story of how they met

Audiobook Review:

This is one of those books that when I read it, I thought was sweet story. But when performed by a brilliant narrator, goes to another level. I guess this is a spin off of a m/f series, but it can definitely be listen to as a stand alone. I have not read the series and didn't feel I missed anything. This is a true mm romance that doesn't end when they get together, but encompasses a significant part of their lives. As I said, I enjoyed the story and thought it was a really sweet love story. But Joshua Ward really elevated this to amazing. His performance was nothing less than brilliant. This is my first time listening to him, but I would buy anything he narrates. He truly brought this story to life.

What an exceptional story! I loved Love Is.... from start to finish. As a fan on the Mr Write Trilogy, I was beyond excited that Rafe and Matthew got their own beautiful love story told.

The story is told in dual POV and I have to say that Cassandra was able to move between each character and their point of view perfectly. I've experienced male / male erotica before but this is my first experience with male / male romance and Cassandra has done such a truly beautiful job with it.

Rafe and Matthew's relationship is one of absolute and pure true love. They have both 'kissed a few frogs' along the way but meeting each other and experiencing an instant attraction and connection makes them quickly pursue more.

They start out slowly and make a pack to get to know each other for 30 days. I loved watching the frustration, sexual tension and development of their relationship over that time, it was real and honest. Very quickly their feelings become deep and intense, they both realise they are irrevocably in love with each other and have a strong need to be together.

Their banter, wit and playfulness bought a smile to my face and laughter as well. I loved that they were so open with their affection and need for each other and that their families and friends were so very supportive of them. These two characters are brilliant and fit so perfectly together, I was sad for their story to end.

While we experienced Matthew and Rafe in the Mr Write Trilogy, it was really a special thing to get to understand the more in-depth aspects of their relationship and the things going on in Love Is... Events like when Matthew went to New York, the pressures around the IVF treatments, Rafe's side of his relationship with Rosie and Pippa, the way they speak with each other and the beautiful way they express their feelings and especially Matthew going to ask Rafe's parents for their blessing.... Made their story and this book something not to be missed.

I loved Etta's part at the end and the insight into their future.... What I wouldn't give to have their story continued.

Cassandra, this story was amazing and your readers will fall in love with Rafe and Matthew all over again. Congratulations and thank you for sharing something so special.

I was giving an ARC of this book for an honest review so here goes :)

Aw I loved this book! I loved these two in the Mr Write trilogy but I fell head over heels with them in this book. This book starts before the Mr Write trilogy, and it is the story of how Rafe and Matthew got together. I would say to read the trilogy first but it isn't a must. Regardless you will still love there story from start to finish.

Cassandra P Lewis the author wrote this book beautifully. The story of two men in love instead of society's image of M/F was done so classy. Her writing was pure love and blew me away.

Rafe is Rosie's brother as you already know if you've read the trilogy. He is sexy as hell. Fit,tall, muscular and oh so very gay(bad for us girls, not for you boy's ;)) He is not great a picking partners as you see in the book. Even though he is AMAZING he attracts the wrong person and always ends up heart broken. That's he is done with men! Well....for now anyways. But what do people say, stop looking and the right person will find you...... ;) Enter our VERY good looking and yes annoying gay because we can't have him Matthew :)

Matthew is Rosie's ass of a fiances twin brother. NOTHING like his brother thought. Literally the only thing the have in common is back in the day they shared a womb. That's where the brotherly bonding ends.

Matthew is attracted to Rafe straight away. BADLY. Talk about going back to there teen years, they literally wanna tear each others clothes off. But its not just a sexual attraction. Either of them can get any man they wanted into bed for a night, pffttt I'm pretty sure they could get most girls as well! This is about love. Pure and simple. Love at first sight is wrote all over there story. But no matter what no relationship is ever plain sailing. Life's a b*tch and loves to show you it can knock you back when you least expect it. But come and share there story of how they became the 'them' in the Mr Write trilogy. And think while your read it. Love is.......?

This a spin-off novel to Mr Write trilogy….giving us the insight to Rafe and Matthew sweet relationship.
I was so excited to read this book as I was already in love with Rafe and Matthew ………I wanted more of them and WOW!!!! This story did not let me down……………it was simply amazing!!!
The story begins with Rafe and before he met Matthew…. We learn more about Rafe history with men and why he’s staying away from them.
For me learning more about Rafe character just made me love him more 
Don’t worry later on in the book we learn more about Matthew’s past!
The instant sizzle between Rafe and Matthew is jumping off the pages and right into your heart from the second they first meet at Rosie’s engagement party.
I actually got butterflies of excitement as I read about Rafe and Matthew first attraction and watching it growing in to love.
Even though from reading Mr Write trilogy I knew they got there happy ending… this book kept me captivated, I wasn’t able to put it down…. I needed and craved more of Rafe and Matthew ….this beautifully written story gave me more and beyond.
This was my first M/M romance book….to say the least I was a little unsure of how the intimate scenes would affect me but WOW they were hot !!!!
This book takes you beyond the ending in Mr Write trilogy and without giving away spoilers will make you believe in magical fairy-tale happy ever after……
My heart just swelled for Rafe and Matthew and their beautiful sweet romance….. This is a story you don’t want to miss out on

I received an ARC from the author to read and help with some of the editing, so here is my review. This is the story of Rafe, brother to Rosie from the Mr Write Trilogy. He is looking for his prince and has kissed a lot of frogs. While he is at Rosie's engagement party, he sees a man across the room and the attraction is instant. But will there be a problem because the man Matthew is Rosie's fiance. While Rosie loses the guy, Rafe gets Matthew. They wait 30 (long) days before they are intimate, they don't want to rush things. Rafe owns a coffee shop and Matthew owns a gym, is a personal trainer and has made workout videos. Their relationship is put through the test. Will they make it and have their HEA? This is a great story and it helps to read the Mr Write Trilogy but I don't think it is a must. You will be a little confused but it works out. Great job Cassandra P. Lewis. Looking forward to the next one!

Rafael is in a relationship with yet another frog. When he finds out Mark is married to a woman with a baby on the way he doesn't think another relationship is in the cards for him. Matthew is working on his business and doesn't have time for relationships, but when he and Rafe meet there's no getting away from the undeniable attraction the two feel for each other. They agree to 30 days of no sex to make sure what they have is real and the story just takes off from there. As gay men they go through their share of trails and tribulations, but in the end what they have is a beautiful love for each other.

I loved this story the way their relationship progressed was too sweet. Seeing they way they worked through their problems and not leave their insecurities on the back burner was a nice change compaired to allot of stories where the main characters were always wondering what the other person was thinking. Loved both POV's and the special way the epilogue was done was perfect!

I loved the Write Trilogy so was really excited to be able to read and review Love Is and boy I surely wasn’t disappointed!
I have never read a male/male romance before and WOW, Cassandra Lewis has cracked it to a T! This story is so beautifully written it had me crying and laughing in all the right places. I enjoyed that it was written from both POV's.

Love Is tells the story of Rafe and Matthew. Both men have kissed a lot of frogs in their life but finally find their prince with each other. After fate brings them together they embark on a beautiful love affair which like every relationship has its ups and downs but they are destined to be together and overcome all obstacles to prove to each other they are meant to be together.

The final chapter was a fantastic ending to a wonderful book and I cannot wait to read more from the brilliantly talented Cassandra Lewis

Well,i really don't think i can do this book justice.
I received an ARC for an honest review.
I absolutely love Cassandra's writing and thoroughly enjoyed the Mr Write trilogy so when she was asking for people to read and review Love Is i jumped at the chance.
This is my first M/M book and i didn't know what to expect really.
The relationship between Rafe and Matthew is beautiful and so well thought out.
The only minor disappointment for me was i thought it needed a bit more depth. Go into things in a little more detail but after saying that i still gave it 5 Stars and will be telling all my friends to read it, i enjoyed it that much.
If you are looking for a beautiful love story with a little raunch this book is for you!!

This book started promising. I love mm stories. I liked the idea of 30 days etc. The sexual tension was great between Rafe and Matthew. And then it all went down the hill. The story spreads over few years, we go with them through their every day struggles, wanting to have babies etc.but the heat between them is gone. I don't feel it anymore. The story is okay but it ended up skipping pages because not much was happening until the near end.
Also was this book edited? My entire copy was underlined. The whole book! It became quite annoying. Also I came to 50% and the story ended and after turning few pages the book started all over again but crossed out this time. Were there issues with uploading or formatting?

A true love story! How many people take the time to sit and think about the when and the how and how much of the span of their relationship? Rafe and Matthew's response to the question of what is love, resulted in them taking the time to write down the timeline of their relationship. The good, the bad, the ups and the downs. They each gave their POV which settled down the story. My favorite part was reading about the men's relationships with the kids. There is a lot going on with all the families and friends, but it's like the reader is part of the family. Nice story! I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Love is...... Is exactly what it says, A beautiful love story between Rafe and Mathew, This is a spin off from Meeting Mr Write Trilogy, which is an all round fab 5 star,.
The chemistry was sizzling from the start and the sexual tension is off the charts, but that's not all the book was about, This is about love regardless the gender, showing you how two people can't live without each other and to what depth's the will go,.
Can't wait for more books from Cassandra.P.Lewis, hope her many happy years with her writing x

This was a nice story but it had no plot. It kind of read like a diary and there was really no purpose to it other than a play by play of the MCs relationship. Meh.
