PLOT: Connor is out for revenge against one man and one man only. Noelle's father. He meets her one night and his plan is to get revenge on her father by saying she was a golddigger. His plans fall through when all he can picture is her being bred... by him.
THOUGHTS: This was a little different from Cassi's other novellas! The revenge plot in this one is strong. There are hot spicy scenes though, which I appreciate. Overall it was a nice read, 3/5.

Part of the Baby Breeder Session 2 series each can be read as standalone with a boss who takes charge as a boss in true Cassie style, and each can be read under an hour. Connor sexy as all get out man on a mission sometimes things happen to set us on a path of revenge with blinders that would be Connor one mission get the man who stole everything from him years ago and he plans on doing it through his daughter or so he thought. Noelle is so sweet working herself to the bone to take care of herself pay her mother’s medical bills well her mother’s bills before passing which she took a loan out on at a high interest rate from a loan shark of course and not sure how she is going to pay it back until she sees an offer for a live-in housekeeper paying a salary that is too good to be true (they say when something too good to be true it usually is ) that would be the case she is a revenge pawn until fate steps in the magnetic pull can’t be ignore between the two of them no matter how hard he tried to stick to his revenge plot he realizes she isn’t her father and hurting her would be just that hurting her not her father who doesn’t seem to care for her so figuring out another way to get her father comes his mission but will he continue on his course of revenge, will she show him there is more to life than revenge, will the loan get paid pack sooner rather than later, and can they find something more between them than revenge?

She had been had the laundromat for five years and wanted to leave when the opportunity of the housekeeper position fell in her lap she jump at the chance.
Noelle was attracted to Conor when she first laid eyes on him but she didn't want to mess up her job. What started as revenge quickly turned into obsession when Conor couldn't get enough of Noelle and would spend hours watching the cameras at work just to look at her. Noelle was also obsessed with Conor, she was with everything about him even his smell. And when Conor saw her in one of his sweatshirt it blow his resolve. He knew right then that he had to have her and rushed home to be with her. However, there was a snag in his plans that cool his libido real quick. He didn't know that Noelle was so pure and when she told him that she was a virgin he put brakes on everything. It was as if she had splash cold in his face. Poor Noelle didn't know what was going on and thought that she had done something wrong. He then started avoiding her for days. He knows that he wanted he to be his and still wanted revenge, he just had to pivot and think of a way in which Noelle won't get hurt in the process. He decided to claim Noelle as his because he had fallen in love and he was going to bred her to prove to everyone that she was his.
Conor didn't know that Noelle revenge against Robert for what he had done to she and her mom. So when he saw that he was going to be at the event for up and coming Tech he decided that he wanted to have her to accompany him. However, he was in for a treat when he heard of the scandalous things that Robert had done and it was all caught on camera and Robert looked like he came from the bottom of a bottle. He realized that he didn't of get his revenge after all. But he did have to come clean with Noelle. A wonderfully written novella about two people who were hurt by the same guy but in the end they fell in love and decided to look to the future instead of looking at the past which caused them pain.
The man was a computer programmer that just got out of college when the guy stole his app so now he wants revenge. The man got an PI to look into the guy’s background and found a daughter that no one knew the guy had so the man was going to use the daughter to pay the gut back.
The daughter lived in a poor part of the city and worked at a laundromat. The daughter lost her mother a while ago and has not seen her father since she was a teenager due to the father leaving her mother. The guy was abusive to her mother and the daughter doesn’t want anything to do with him. The daughter had to go to a loan shark to get the money to pay her mother’s medical bills and before she went to see about the job the loan shark came to collect his money but he gave her an extension.
The two come together when the man talks her into accepting a job as a housekeeper. The man was going to use her in his revenge on the guy but it wasn’t long before he couldn't go through with using her for his revenge on the woman’s father. The man wanted her and she wanted him as well so they had sex. The man wanted her pregnant with his child so he bred her as often as he could.
The man decided to take her to a gala and got the woman a dress and had her go to a spa. The daughter really didn’t want to go but she went for the man. They got to the gala, everything was going good until the guy grabbed the daughter calling her her mother’s name. The daughter scolds the guy, her father for what he put her mother and herself through before she walks out. The guy figures out who the man is, the man informs him of a couple of things before he goes off looking for the daughter. After finding the daughter the man comes clean about everything.
Seven years later the two are married and they have kids as well as she’s pregnant. The couple talk to a reporter about the guy and what he did to both of them. The man sued them but lost since everything they said was the truth. It’s late when he gets home from work. The daughter is so happy with the man even though he had to work late he has always been there for the kids events and also her ultrasounds, he never missed a single one. The man wakes her up when he gets into bed, the have sex. They tell one another that they love one another.
Wonderful novella with amazing characters that’s easy to read as well as a page turner, a steamy romantic happily ever after ending.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Noelle lives in a dangerous part of the city and is struggling to make ends meet, especially now she is on her own after the death of her mother and a father that she hasn’t seen in years, she has the constant reminder that she is now totally alone trying to pay off the medical bills and the loan that she had taken out from a loan shark and he is starting to get antsy about his return. Her dream was never to be working in a laundromat in an area that has danger around every corner. She cant believe her luck when she is offered the job of a live in housekeeper that will allow to pay off her debts sooner than she had ever thought possible, saying yes to the job was a no brainer but when she meets Connor her new boss her life changes beyond recognition and even though she knows that falling for her boss could ruin everything that she has managed to build & why would a man like Connor who could have any woman he wanted really be interested in her, will she be left with a broken heart or find a real love?
Connor has waited a very long time to get his revenge upon the man that stole his future from him, a man that he had once trusted, none other than Robert Peterson, the man who took everything he had and dumped him on the streets. Now a man who has more power than he ever dreamed has the information he needs to take the ultimate revenge, his one and only daughter, a daughter Thant has been a kept secret and stored in a place no one would think of looking. Hiding his daughter in a part of town where only the rats walk with pride, however he hadn’t been prepared for seeing her in the flesh or his reaction to her, but determined to see his plan through to the end. Offering her the job that would give her a new future was the easy part but seeing the person she was day after day and falling for her was not in the plan, he wanted Robert to see his daughter with him and see that he had it all before casting her aside with nothing just as he had been. But does Connor truly know the truth about Noelle and the life she’s lived and lost or for the way that she makes him feel? Will Connor go through with his revenge or will what he finds mean more and give him the peace he always wanted?
Well this was a fantastic read and also addition to the series. I could see the hurt that one man could cause and the impact on two people that would find healing in each other. Highly recommended read 4.5*

Revenge Plot, Virgin Heroine, Instalove
Bred by the Boss is a short instalove story. We open with Conner who has finally located the key to a revenge plan he has to get back at a business rival. We don’t get a lot of details at first but we know that this plan has been a long time in the making. Connor was looking for Noelle, the daughter of his rival. We know his plan depends on her. He spots her working a laundromat and feels an attraction so strong he starts to rethink is plan to use her to get revenge. Noelle also sees Connor through the windows and feels a strong pull to the stranger, but then he quickly gets a call and has to leave.
Connor decides to move forward with his plan that we learn includes seducing Noelle then humiliating her in a way that ruins her father, his rival’s reputation. He soon learns that his plans might have to alter so he can keep Noelle in his life.
Ultimately, this is a really short story so we only get broad strokes of why Connor is after his rival and its takes a bit before we learn why Noelle is struggling despite the fact that her father appears to be a wealthy tech CEO. The revenge plot seems a little far fetched especially since it doesn’t seem that Connor truly understands the dynamic between Noelle and her father. The story works though and it’s a cute short read. I have read a few novellas by the author and this one is worth the time if you like a good instalove story with steamy scenes and low angst.

Dark, but sweet HEA

I admit this story stressed me out a bit. I did not love the dark direction of the MMC’s initial plan of hurting the FMC so thoroughly to get to her father (whom isn’t in her life, although MMC doesn’t know that).
Through most of the book, his dark plan was what he was sticking with, no matter how he’d started to care for the FMC. And the poor FMC, she has had a rough life and just wants to be loved. In fact, she has a brutal loan shark that has been threatening her. She doesn’t deserve to be hurt or played with. She’s incredibly kind and innocent.
I was glad when things turned around in the MMC’s mind, I remember thinking, “Oh thank GOD he got over that plan.” Them together was pretty 🔥!
It’s a bit of a darker book for Cassi, but I still enjoyed it. I enjoyed the ending and was glad everything worked out!!!

I was glad when things turned around in the MMC’s mind, I remember thinking, “Oh thank GOD he got over that plan.” Them together was pretty 🔥!
It’s a bit of a darker book for Cassi, but I still enjoyed it. I enjoyed the ending and was glad everything worked out!!!

I absolutely loved Bred by the Boss by Cassi Hart. This book had my attention from the very beginning making it impossible for me to put it down. I adored Connor and Noelle these two were destined for one another. I felt the story was a bit predictable, but that did not take away from the book as a whole. The plot for Bred by the Boss was some what similar to others in this genre, but different enough to be considered original. I can't wait to read the next book Cassi publishes.

Such a great over-the-top instalove romance novella! CH always delivers the best 1hr reads. Connor has a plan for revenge against a former business partner. His plan? Make his rival’s innocent daughter fall in love with him, have his baby, and break her heart. Noelle has had a difficult upbringing and hasn’t had the best luck in her adult life. She’s desperate for another job to pay off a debt so she takes a job as a housekeeper for none other than Connor Holmes. He never expected to fall head-over-heels in love with Noelle, and now his plan is falling apart. Super sweet, steamy, and had a great happy ending!

While the plot is a little bit cliche - rich man wants revenge on old business rival so decides to use his sweet innocent daughter to get it before he falls in love with her, this was an enjoyable read that despite it's short length packed in the angst and attraction.
Connor originally plans to use Noelle for his revenge, but as his PI uncovers more about her and he spends time with her he begins to realise his earlier plan won't work because Noelle is nothing like he thought and he has feelings for her. She's quite sweet and naive and falls heavy and hard for Connor and there's a spark between the two but they don't instantly act on it.
I love that Noelle spoke up for herself and put both her father and Connor in place. It was great to see her grow a back bone.

Connor has a plan to get revenge on the man that nearly destroyed him. His plan involves his enemy’s daughter, Noelle. Naturally, Noelle has no idea who Connor is even after he hired her to be his housekeeper. She knows that she is attracted to him but knows nothing can come of it because she works for him. Connor, despite his grand plan, is catching feelings for Noelle as well. That, along with a couple of other things, affect his plot.
I enjoyed reading this book because the characters were multidimensional. Each one had their own agenda even if it was as simple as falling in love. This book was such a treat to read! I love how Cassi Hart breathes life into her characters.

This was a wild and OTT revenge story that got totally switched to a wild and OTT romance for Conor and Noelle. He lost everything, including a home, when Noelle's father did a number on him but he's now back and stronger than ever. He's looking to finally get his revenge and thinks Noelle will be the perfect pawn. He sets her up as his housekeeper but finds he can't keep his hands off her...nor the image of her pregnant with his baby. Well, suddenly he's all about supporting her and he finds out that her relationship with her father is nothing like he expected. These two find a wonderful HEA together and it was entertaining to see Conor heal from the past and find such a satisfying love :D

I really enjoyed this story a lot. Being a sucker for instalove books, this one hit all the right notes for me. Connor is out for revenge against the man who took everything from him so when he finds out this guy has a daughter, he decides to use her, break her and then leave her. Only things don't go as planned. Noelle has had some bad luck in her life and when Connor offers her a really good job with great pay, she jumps at it. Will Connor still go through with his revenge after realizing he has feelings for Noelle or will he follow through with his plans and break her heart? Loved this one a lot!

Connor is a planner, he knows his target and he never fails, but he also didn't account for Noelle. She isn't supposed to be important, but she is....everything. His weakness, his strength, his motivation and his future. I love that Connor is aware enough to realise he has made a miscalculation and needs to change his plan of attack, if only he had discussed it with Noelle he would have realised she is more than capable of being the ammunition...no plan needed.
It's great to see the abusive taken down, especially when it comes from one of their victims, but it is better to see Connor and Noelle secure their future...together.

Noelle has had a rough life abandoned by her father and then her mother ended up dying from cancer. Now left with debt and no one to count on she's desperate for help and money. Connor is out for revenge against Noelle's father and he will stop at nothing to get it. He planned on using Noelle against her father until he got to know her and they fell in love. Noelle and Connor's journey of love is filled with heartbreak, betrayal, revenge, steam, romance, and a happily ever after. The epilogue was the cherry on top for Noelle and Connor. Bred by the Boss is a great addition to the multi-author Baby Breeder Session 2 series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a short romance with revenge, struggles, misconceptions and misunderstandings. Conner is so focused on revenge that he can't see the big picture. Noelle is so focused on survival, she jumps at an offer that might be too good to be true. He gets her where he wants her and then has to fight the attraction between them. The romance got a little lost for me in the revenge plot. Conner was in denial thru much of their story. Noelle was a good character and I liked how she had become stronger as life threw one thing after another her way

Bred by the Boss, part of the Baby Breeder Session 2 series, was about 33-year-old Connor Holmes, a security tech business owner, and 22-year-old Noelle Peterson, the daughter of his archnemesis.
Another revenge-plot-gone-wrong story that ended with an excellent HEA. The way this story evolved was only a tiny bit unique (I won't spoil it!!), but it had enough angst, drama, and spiciness to keep the reader glued to the pages.
I gave it a four-star rating, but it could easily have gotten higher if it had been a little longer and had more content. It was lacking only a smidgeon of what it needed to be an even better story.

What started as a plan for revenge turns into a forever happy love, which leads you to the one person who is your soul mate.
This short story was great, and I could not get enough of these two. Connor wanted to get revenge and thought Noelle was the one he would use. But before he knew it, he realized he could not use Noelle. He was in love with her and would do everything he could to protect her.

Noelle hates her father, he hasn't been in her life for years. What Connor doesn't expect is to fall for Noelle, soon his plan is to keep her with him by putting a baby in her belly. The book is exciting, sexy and ends happily.

Connor was wronged and left pennyless by Robert so what better revenge than getting his daughter to fall for him, the plan works on paper only when he meets Noelle he finds his plans changing but will it be to late when she discovers is truth? well written steamy age gap, instant attraction, betrayal and more.

Bred by the Boss is edgy, daring, and entertaining! The main characters are each complex—and quite the opposite of each other. I love how author Cassi Hart weaves their tale—from first meet to the epilogue, their chemistry leaps off the page and has you wanting more.

Great read. Conner sets out to seek revenge on the man that ruined him. Finding the daughter and then using her against her father. When Connor sees Noelle for the first time there is a connection he did not expect. Love overrides revenge.

This was a good age gap romance. It was a short fast paced story with some good steam. It had an interesting storyline. Connor didn’t seek out Noelle with the best intentions but that didn’t mean anything once they got to know each other. I liked the story.
