Phenomenal! I don’t think Jenn can write a bad book! This was beautifully done. The flow and feel of this book was a little different than previous books; however, that’s not a bad thing. It was perfect for the story and the characters. I absolutely loved this book and getting Jordan’s story. The nice thing is his character wasn’t the star of the show though. The FMC was the star of the show but we got to see things from all sides. If you haven’t read her Darkest Nights series or Show Biz, it’s not necessarily but will give context surrounding Jordan’s life before we see him here. Trust, you may as well dive in with those because once you start reading Jenn’s books there is no turning back!

Being on Jenn Bullard's ARC team has been one of my favorite parts of this year! She just keeps rolling out some incredible books, and Líadan's story was everything we needed.
This story GUTTED me in the beginning, but I knew Jenn would give her the HEA this girl deserved. I loved watching Líadan grow into such a b*d*ss female main character. This woman stole the f*ck*ng show!!! She didn't let her past hold her down and she became such a b*d*ss! And Jordan and Brendan backed her 100% of the time! These guys were so perfect. Brendan stole my heart from the very first interaction! He took care of her and only encouraged her to be the bad*ss he knew she could be. And then we meet Jordan!!! And my heart swooneddddd for this man. He loved these two so well. Stepping in to take care of them and love them even after their first encounter together 🤣🤣

When Liadan's father sells her to his crime family in an effort to make her into his weapon, she represses the experience and turns herself into the O'Brien Banshee, a serial unaliver for her father's mafia cause. The only one on her side is her lifelong best friend and mafia enforcer, Brendan, who becomes her romantic partner. Fast forward a few years, Lia and Brendan are tasked with a new customer, a tech hacker who infiltrated Daddy's security and got caught. But when Lia sees the hacker, she recognizes the friendly man from town who wasn't afraid of her. Something about Jordan catches Brendan's eye too, and they agree to let Jordan stay with them while he learns his new position in the family. Soon, an upheaval in the chain of command leaves Lia the heir to the family, and cleaning house is in order. Who better to help than her two boyfriends? When Jordan is hurt, Lia and Bren leave him behind to continue their mission. But Jordan doesn't take well to their actions and makes himself useful from the sidelines. Lia will need both her men at her side as she shakes up the family and truly starts painting the town red.

Jordan, though nee to the team, is ready to give his princess the justice she deserves, even if it means getting a little dirty. Their shared dynamic was wonderful, whether it was MMF, MF, or MM. Prepare for some spice and bl00d.

Omg what a book! This had me from page one. I loved every second of it. This is not for the faint of heart. Our FMC is so strong and damaged but with her men in her corner, she kick’s major butt and does not disappoint. The revenge is sweet and it was EPIC.
Can’t wait until Jenn’s next book! She is my ride or die favorite author. If she writes it, I guarantee it’s a best seller!

Wow. Talk about wild. After what she went through and became what she did is amazing. These people just don’t realize when you want to create something, that something can come back and bite you in the a&$. Watch your triggers. Jenn has quickly become one of my favorite authors.

All I can say is “Iontach” - magnificent in Irish 😘. As much as this is Lia՛dan’s story, Jordan Miles is one of the three main characters. Uncle Jordan was kidnapped in Jenn’s book “Show Biz” and it remained somewhat a mystery UNTIL NOW! Brendan is the 3rd main character who has known Lia՛dan since they were young children.
When Jordan, Lia՛dan, and Brendan first meet you better be buckled up!!! Chapter 5 is mind blowing. Chapter 6 and 7 will melt your bowl of ice cream!!!
If you have read “Show Biz” Layla pops in the story.
This is a Dark Irish Mafia romance, set in Chicago. A Mafia Princess was created and shaped into a monster by the hands of her father. You will laugh, cry, cringe, applaud and even swoon while reading this book.
There are so many twists and turns in this story. I don’t know how Jenn comes up with some of the situations she writes about. Even 3/4 of the way into the story she finds more ways to excite and surprise her readers.
I finished this book in less than 24 hours!!! What a great way to spend the day!
Things I will never be able to look at again without thinking of Jen: coffins and jackhammers.
Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ with ⚔️

Oh. My. God. *Líadan’s Code* by Jenn Bullard is EVERYTHING I didn't know I needed but absolutely couldn't live without. Jenn doesn't just bring you an average basic B romance... naaahhhhh, she is going to bring you something dark and twisted. She wants you to squirm a bit. She wants to make it hurt so good you will thank her and ask for more. Honey, she is going to destroy you in the best way and I promise you are going to love it. I found myself hanging onto every word, devouring each chapter wanting more. She made me feel every emotion that I had. I was laughing, cringing, crying, laughing... its been over a week and I still feel all the things.
Before we talk about my future fictional baby daddy. Let’s talk Líadan for a sec. She wasn't your typical mafia princess... naaaah she was so much more. I feel for my sweet baby angel, Líadan. Her dad is a straight up d-bag and the things she goes through? LAWD. She is not just a survivor, but a fighter. She took everything and harnessed all that anger into something that would make grown men cry... and believe me, they cry. Which I mean because despite loving her, she was also terrifying in the best way.
And Brendan...Ugh this man. I loved that even though he was 1000000000% a psycho because I mean he is a mafia enforcer, he was so dang sweet on Líadan. He is her bffl, her RoD, her soulmate. Brendan took care of Liadan and I will fight anyone for him.
And Uncle Jordan! I have been salivating over Uncle Jordan since forever...the man is just *chefs kiss* perfection. This man was everything that we could have wanted and more. From his first moment with Brendan and Liadan, I knew that I was going to looooove these three together. And man, Jenn blew past any expectation that I had, giving me so much mooreeee. I wont say more because you really just need to experience Jordan - not Uncle Jordan, just Jordan. 🔥
So, if you're into dark romance that will grip you by the throat, make you gasp, force you to clutch yo pearls and leave you begging for more, *Liadan's Code* is your next obsession.

If you follow my profile you will know I am no stranger to Jenn's books and really enjoy her style of writing. I have said before that she doesn't write anything other than 5 star reads and she has once again maintained this high standard.
If you have read Jenn before they you know to expect to have your heart ripped out of your chest, stamped on and then brushed off, cuddled and put back stronger. This is again no exception. Whilst it can be read as a standalone, I would highly recommend that you read at least "Show Biz" before picking this one up as Uncle Jordan who was surrounded in a bit of mystery in that book (no spoilers!) is one of our MMC here. We also see Layla again which was much welcome given how much I enjoy her.
I won't bore you with details of the plot, that is what the blurb is for, but this is a deliciously dark irish mafia romance set in Chicago following not your average mafia princess and two gorgeously addictive MMCs.
Ugh my heart went out to Líadan who suffered at the hands of her (cannot use the word without being banned) father. Thankfully she was the woman we all aspire to be, taking that hardship and using it to make her in to a bad-you know what that takes no nonsense but is not so hardened that she does not care about those around her. Really, I just wish I was her as she is now!
I adored Brendan and Jordan who were absolutely perfect book boyfriends. I loved that we got to see them build amazing chemistry with Lia but also with each other - who doesn't love some crossed swords. It could have been tricky for Jordan to become incorporated with Lia and Brendan but thankfully it was a perfect fit and as the book progressed it felt like a natural progression.
Speaking of feelings, the development of each character once again stood up to the complex plot, which could not have been easy to accomplish, and I applaud Jenn for this. The spice was also SPICY even if it did have me learning new things about myself.
Another 10/10 book.

I have been following Jenn for awhile and one thing to know about her is she is not afraid to go there. She will systematically tear you apart inside but then build you back up through her writing. I was excited about this book because I fell in love with Jordan from Jenn's other books and I couldn't wait for more of him!
Liadan has a rough start to life and her father is a horrible man. At the age of 17 her life is forever changed by horrible men. The very beginning we see her trauma and we meet her best friend Brendan who I loved from page 1. Some insight of what you are in for in the beginning... "My worst nightmares didn't even scratch the surface of what was done tonight" "They ruined me. " Brendan - "They changed you... My best friend, and love of my life is not ruined. " ..... "You are mine, and therefore you're perfect....I have loved you my entire life and this will never change" I love how fiercely Brendan loves her from day 1. He accepts her for her no matter what happens.... Fast forward 3 years and Lia's become a force to reckon with..... Lia runs into Jordan, literally, but after that first meeting nothing happens right away between them. It isn't until her daddy dearest sends her to "rough him up" when he used his hacking skills to protect his niece that they encounter each other again and everything changes. Lia is my favorite kind of FMC in regards to overcoming so much and taking no ones c**p. She is strong, fierce and loyal to those she truly cares about. I loved how both Lia and Brendan are drawn to Jordan and man seeing this side of Jordan was *chef's kiss*. You do not need to read Lyric or Layla's stories to enjoy this book but they definitely do help with some of the background and will only allow you to appreciate all the players more.

He accepts her for her no matter what happens.... Fast forward 3 years and Lia's become a force to reckon with..... Lia runs into Jordan, literally, but after that first meeting nothing happens right away between them. It isn't until her daddy dearest sends her to "rough him up" when he used his hacking skills to protect his niece that they encounter each other again and everything changes. Lia is my favorite kind of FMC in regards to overcoming so much and taking no ones c**p. She is strong, fierce and loyal to those she truly cares about. I loved how both Lia and Brendan are drawn to Jordan and man seeing this side of Jordan was *chef's kiss*. You do not need to read Lyric or Layla's stories to enjoy this book but they definitely do help with some of the background and will only allow you to appreciate all the players more.

I was hooked from the first page. I’ve been waiting for this book and it was so much better than I was expecting it to be, which says a lot cause everything this author writes is gold. The characters were amazing I honestly don’t have a favorite I loved all of them.
Líadan is my girl. I love her strength, her heart just everything about her. She went through something unimaginable and became something everyone should/does fear. I liked the way she handles herself and doesn’t take unnecessary crap from people. Even with everything that she went through she still has a heart and cares about others. I admire everything that she did in this book. Bloody or not I’m on her side.
The men were EVERYTHING. They are caring, dangerous, protective and love Lia as much as anyone can love another person. They all had such an amazing connection and chemistry that was out of this world Idk how they got anything done. Not only with Lia but with each other. Even though she was in a relationship with Brendan when Jordan came into their life, he fit in perfectly with them. Every time they were together it felt like they’ve been a couple for years. They matched her bloodthirsty ways perfectly. She couldn’t have found better men for her.

Absolute Favorite book of 2024
This book has been one of my favorites of 2024.
I absolutely loved Jordan,Líadan and Brendan. The first few chapters are our glimpse into Líadans past as to why she is the way she is and Brendan as well.
I enjoyed how the relationships all developed between the characters it wasn’t fast nor slow it was just the right pace.
Jordan is a side character from the darkest Nights series and I’m thrilled he got his own book. You can read this book as a standalone and not read the other series before hand and still not be lost. You’re gonna love him though.
Brandan is such a great character he’s there for Líadan no matter regardless if anything happens to him he’ll protect her. There relationship was so strong from the beginning it was great to see it develop into more of a deep bond and strong connection.
Líadan is such a strong female character with everything that happened to her in her past. She became someone that gave her more strength in my opinion. She’s a loyal person to the ones she loves and definitely stands up for what she believes is right.
I loved how her father was cut off and who got to do it. It was great seeing past characters pop by an still not be lost with the story.
This book was so good I got sucked right into it took me only a few days to read it all. I definitely loved the ending of this one. It was so good to read what happened.

Ok first things first, this is a Jenn Bullard book so the TW list is long and should not be ignored.
If you love strong FMC’s (who are ruthless and psychotic) you will love this book - add in two unhinged MMCs and we have ourselves quite the throuple!

This book starts in a very dark place. I loved Líadan as our FMC!! She is this Mafia princess who has been molded into an unaliver by her father. Despite what she has been through she is a complete badass. Brendon has been there for her and I love how he supports her. Jordan was an unexpected connection.
There are some great twists and turns and I couldn’t put this book down! One thing I love about Jenn’s writing is how authentic these characters feel, especially when it comes to their emotions and trauma and loyalty and strength. I also love how her different series are inner-connected.
There are some characters who will be familiar to you if you’ve read her other books. We find out what happened to Uncle Jordan! You will so many different emotions reading this book!

Jenn oh my. So good as always. Liadan was born into the mafia world and raised by her father when her mom died. Her father was not a nice man most of the time. He raised her to be ruthless and that is exactly what she was. He put her through a lot growing up. The main ages were 12 and 17 that things happened to her. Her best friend Brendan was always by her side when he could. He wasn’t there at 17 and he regretted it but after that he never left her side. She had always loved Brendan. One day she was walking around Chicago and she met Jordan. They talked for a little bit and then she went back home. A few years later their paths crossed again. She knew it was him but he didn’t know it was her. Her father wanted him to work for him since they lost a valuable member since he was stealing from them. Jordan was not given a choice. Her father threatened his niece so he did what he was told. Jordan was told someone would be picking him up. It turned out to be Brendan but Jordan had no shoes so he had to call Liadan. She was nervous to show her face to Jordan. A lot took place in this book. It was so good. I love the darker reads. If you do as well you will love this.

Was this book real? Or was it all just one long fever dream? I ask because I'm currently sick. Covid finally got me, and I'm exhausted. It has taken me longer than normal to finish. My eyes are getting strained easily, and I've had a very persistent headache. Still, I persevered. I impatiently waited for this book, was so excited to get it, and nothing would keep me away.
Our fmc Liadan's story is not for the faint-hearted. The daughter of a ruthless man she suffered and was forged anew. Now she's the one the monsters surrounding her fear. Brendan, one of our mmc, is right there alongside her. His one and only objective is keeping Liadan safe. He failed once never again. Onto Jordan, he IMO, was a reader favorite side character from previous books. Now he's one of the leading men in this story, and omg, I'm even more obsessed with him.
This story took some twists I wasn't expecting. I loved getting more insight into Jordan and what makes him tick. Liadan and Brendan were amazing characters. The chemistry between all 3 🥵. The ending was so beautiful. I hope we continue to see these characters make appearances in other stories.

Liadan's Code is a dark mafia romance.
Liadan goes through a lot of dark times and I truly felt bad for her. She was just trying to keep her head down and live her life as peacefully as she can, but her father has other plans for her. She goes through some tortuous moments and you can feel the pain and suffering right off the page. This caused a complete character change for Liadan, as she lost her innocent nature and now has become the Irish Banshee.
She gets to show a bit of vulnerability with Brendan and Jordan, which I thought gave her a bit of healing towards her past. She was able to do what she wanted without having her father breathing down her neck and trying to impact her choices. She became a stronger person when she was with these two. Brendan was there for her during her most trying moments, but Jordan was able to give her a bit of an outsider perspective and allow her to heal a bit more.

I am honestly not sure how Jenn Bullard comes up with these storylines! This book had twists, steamy scenes, and probably one of the best days of vengeance I've read.
Bullard creates FMC that are going to stick in your head and Liadan is no different. She may be one of my favorite FMC from Bullard because she is so strong and has been through so much. I love the support that she gets from Brendan right from the start, but I couldn't get enough of how much Brendan and Liadan grow and open up when Jordan comes into their lives. He was the missing piece for them. This book is MMF so it does have some MM scenes.

Jenn always delivers with the darkness. This is especially true in this book. Líadan is a serial unaliver. She was made into one by her father. She does what she does in order to deal with what happened to her. I can not blame her for what she went through.
Brendan, Jordan, and Lìadan are a hot throuple. I love their relationship. There are times in the book that I wanted to slap and scream at the characters, but that's expected from a Jenn Bullard book. The ride you go on is worth the angst and darkness that Jenn Bullard puts you through.
If you love dark romance, a BAMF MFC who is unapologetic for who she is, and her men who are crazy about her, this is the book for you.

Liadan’s Code by Jenn Bullard is a dark mafia romance novel. I have not read a book yet by this author that I haven’t devoured in one sitting. This book is a well written and an unique book with characters that are well thought and developed. I could feel the emotions on the page. We also get to see Jordan from The Darkest Nights series and Show Biz. You definitely can read this without reading those but it helps to get back story.
Liadan is one tough girl. Her dad has tried to make her into what he has wanted and needed. His practices were not that of a loving father. Her best friend Brendan is truly the only person to show her love or kindness. Their love is palpable and gets her through some dark days. Jordan comes into the picture as a love interest after her father sends her on a job that includes a visit with him.

Amazing Dark Mafia Read!!!
This was a twist on the mafia trope and I absolutely loved it! Liadan is the much more than what meets the eye, more than a mafia princess, someone that has a true darkness to her. This was not by chance but the person she became was because of her father.
The beginning of this book start of pitch black. There are parts to the story that are very difficult to read, but if you can get through them, you will understand why this author went as dark as she did. They are pivotal scenes to the book and give you an understand that I think would be lacking had she chosen not paint over them.
This book is amazing. I loved how these characters came together and how their story progressed. I loved how Liadan and Brendan were able to adapt and overcome their difficult past. This is a must read for dark book lovers!
This was a twist on the mafia trope and I absolutely loved it! Liadan is the much more than what meets the eye, more than a mafia princess, someone that has a true darkness to her. This was not by chance but the person she became was because of her father.

As it is a Jenn Bullard atory- check the triggers. It is a dark mafia story with some new characters and one we have seen mentioned in both Darkest Night and Show Biz (Uncle Jordan). It can be read as a standalone but really to enjoy it to the fullest extent, read both the other books so that you can get a full backstory. Líadan has been through so much at the hands of her father. Her character sucked me in because you felt so badly for her and the life she has been forced to live. The moments with Brendan and Jordan are delicious. This story had everything you could want. A strong fmc who was tired of the life picked for her and was taking it back. It has spice and well written characters that are very engaging. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was an emotional rollercoaster and I seriously loved every minute of it oh my goodness! This was dark, emotional, and so entertaining.
I was so excited to see Jordan get his own book! Definitely one of my Fav side characters in previous books, I loved seeing him get his own story.
I loved Liadan. My heart ached for her at times, but what an incredibly strong, resilient woman. She seriously became some a boss b*tch and I was so here for it.
Jordan and Brendan were so supportive and possessive of Liadan - I loved that. The chemistry between the three of them was so good and it definitely made their dynamic together interesting!
I would absolutely reread this and likely will!

You know that meme that went around that said “eeemotionaaal damage”? This describes everything in this book. Jenn knows her way around with words and feelings and will literally have you throwing your phone (or kindle) in one instance and then swooning over something one of the gorgeous men in her book does, whether for another mmc or the fmc. She’s also really great with tool wielding 😉.
This book includes a main male character from one of her other series, but you don’t have to read it to understand completely, though it would help to read it. However, Jordan (from The Darkest Nights Series) doesn’t start as a main male character in this, but leads up to it.
I love a good bada$$ fmc who doesn’t take any $hit from people.

As usual, Jenn Bullard wrote a book filled with trigger warnings. Like, FILLED. But that's part of what makes her books so amazing and addictive!! There are other things in the book that are FILLED.. if ya know what I mean. Plenty of super smexy scenes. I KNEW I was going to love Uncle Jordan. I love him even more now after this book! Liadan goes through some serious sh!t (check those trigger warnings!!!), and basically turns into the ruthless un@l!ver her dad wants her to be. She has Brendan, who is perfection, and Jordan fits in perfectly with them, and they're EXACTLY what Liadan needed. I loved watching Liadan grow into who she is at the end of the book, all with the help of Brendan and Jordan. Another epic read by Jenn!!

Jenn Bullard really knows how to write a story. In this one, we reunite with Jordan and if you’re familiar with him, strap in because his story is a trip. I totally recommend reading Show Biz to get a little lay of the land.
I will say this, read the trigger warnings because this gets a little dark and heavy with good reason. But I will never be able to look at a power tool the same way again which might be difficult because my dad has the entire garage full of them. Along with an impressive array of hammers. And I kinda don’t want to think about hammers.
No tears were shed for this one. And there was no need for pie at 9am but I did message her gushing about how incredible it was. How I didn’t want to stop reading because I felt like there were more stories to tell.
