I always love to read anything vampire and shifter stories. I was pretty excited to read this, especially after the promising premise the novel had.
I pretty enjoyed the characters here, I would say they were written with depth and quite complex in some ways as well. The struggles the main pairing here was something I would say is alarming and definitely need to be taken with delicate care.
With that being said, the characters definitely are interesting, especially the existing characters from the previous books, which I will be reading soon.
Another thing is that I would have definitely enjoyed this more if the plot is more intricate and also if I had read the previous books.
Nevertheless, it was an okay read for me.

I really liked this book I love the whole series, I like how Casimir found Juri and instantly went into protective mood I loved how both Juri and Casimir help heal each other while there bond grows and develops, I love Juri and Casimir and I was cringing a bit about Kenji as he's literally a typical big brother not really liking Casimir to start with but I love how Kenji never stopped looking for Juri, I also loved the way Kenji knew how to help rose and Alestier with the pregnancy which is so obvious Alesiter should of known but I'm glad Kenji did know. I also really hate Reef! I'm looking forward to the next book!

Absolutely loved the 5th book of the series.
This book is mainly about.......FMC JURI and MMC CASIMIR.
Juri is a female hybrid, and Casimir is a full blooded Vampire. Both have had troubles pasts. Either by Torture, enslavement etc. Will they overcome and give into the bond. Will they be able to give each other exactly what the need to move forward.
This book can be read as a standalone but to understand the full back plot and characters you would need to read the other books first

~I enjoy diving into a new book written by Anne T. Thyssen. This book is part of a series since its #5 but can be read as a standalone. Now, I personally was a bit confused on how the tittle itself comes in place with the storyline. Sometimes I wished I would have read the other books only to know how all these characters are connected. I did enjoy the storyline, getting to read about vampires and werewolves are always a plus. The tension, the revenge, and of course don’t forget the spice…

Vampires are not usually what I read. However, I loved reading about vampire Casimir's past and his hybrid mate, Juri. I have a newfound love for dark, sexy vampires thanks to this book. I recommend reading this book and the other 4 in the series. It can be read as a standalone, but it is such a great world why not read them all! Watch trigger warnings.

The Enslaved Mate was a good paranormal romance story!
Casimir saves Juri from her kidnappers, and it turns out they are mates. They have amazing chemistry and lots of hot spicy scenes!! I really enjoyed reading their story and hearing about other characters we know from past books and new friends. I can't wait to read more!

Sometimes it was a bit hard to understand all the characters and their pasts without having read the previous books, but the author does their best to explain it briefly. Despite this, the story was good and I'm for sure going to read the other books and the next ones!
The struggle of the main characters felt realistic, with some parts that were hard to read, but the ending left me happy. Can't wait to read what happens next!

A story with a lot of tension and intrigue. Both Casimir and Juri are strengthened by their dark past, will their fears get in the way of their love as fated mates, or will they overcome their fears.
I'm not going to tell you, if your heart lies in wolves and vampires with a dark edge, then this book is definitely for you.
I really enjoyed it and read the book in one sitting, I really couldn't put it down.
