I'm glad that the title of this book is changed, but now I'm not sure about this cover. It's certainly not matching with her other books, or maybe I love illustrated couples on books that's why I'm not vibing with this one yet.

also the genre switches are insaneee, from her usual stem romance, to whatever the hell bride was 💀 and to sports romances like check & mate and this one. and not to be an ali hazelwood fan (god forbid😭😭) but check & mate was honestly one of the books that I actually liked by her, only because of nolan sawyer.... and since this is also a sports romance (yes I'm counting chess as a sport, whatever), maybe this might be... sort of.. good???
