When Meg Bristol's fiance jilts her via text message, her plans to get even with him lead her right into the arms of another man. A sweet, romantic comedy.
I'm a USA Today bestselling author of sweet romance, but I'll read anything if it's good. I live in Minnesota with my husband, Steve, who is a travel agent, and three naughty puddy-tats, Chip, Dale & Babygirl. I love to travel and have been to places like Central America, Europe and the Middle East, but at the end of the day, there is no place like home and my own bed--even if I do have to share it with my cats.
Well, that was a fun little detour to take. I wasn't sure if the way Denny's thoughts didn't quite line up with his words was intentional or not (did he genuinely consider himself to be in a relationship or what?), and "sexy" is overused here, especially considering the length of the story. But, again, I had fun reading it, which was all I was really looking for.
Love the four main character s in this book. Meg and Nan are funny. Jim and Denny are funny also. Love the type of car Meg drives. It is cute on how each couple get together. Glad things worked out the way they did for Meg and Denny.
Very short but sweet. Good way to introduce people to different authors. Gives you a chance to view different genres also, without a cost to the reader.
