She was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. Pure class. Old money. I never stood a chance... until she broke up with her dickhead of a boyfriend and went off the rails.

Brannon Forrester doesn't expect much from life. He coasts through aimlessly. No real ties. Nothing to hold him back. Hanging out with his best friend, lead singer of a local bar band, he lives for pleasure, out of the spotlight but with all the excess of the band's small-town fame. After all, why should he be good when the only woman he really wants will never give him the time of day?

Then, one night at an after party, Sophie Buchanan walks through the door. In an attempt to throw caution to the wind and dream out loud, she looks to him as a guide to the wild side. As someone who can show her all the excitement and recklessness her world has been missing. He plunges her into a reality of fervent passion... and heartbreaking betrayal.

Their roles have been set. He has only ever been a good time. She has only ever been a pretty face. It would be insane for them to fall in love. But when emotion complicates lust, can the caution of the mind suppress the will of the heart?

Sibylla Matilde

Sibylla Matilde grew up on the back of a horse exploring in the mountain valleys of Southwest Montana. She attended a two-room schoolhouse 1st through 6th grade where she had same teacher the whole time. At the age of 12, Siby discovered historical romance, devouring the work of Jude Devereaux, Lisa Kleypas, and Karen Robards. She began writing in 2013 with her debut novel, Little Conversations, and self-published ten works over the next three years. She took a few years off to deal with life (it proved very difficult to move on from her Bangin’ Mofos…they were a blast to write), but is back at the keyboard with new steamy stories brewing in her naughty little brain.

Music is her emotional trigger. Growing up with a Wagnarian-opera-loving mother, Sibylla loves music that digs deep into her soul and covers her with goosebumps. The soundtrack to her life includes different genres and generations, but her favorites include Thirty Seconds to Mars (she’s a bit obsessive about Jared Leto, actually), Kings of Leon, The Killers, My Chemical Romance, and many other artists and bands. Her inspiration playlists on Spotify truly drive her writing, and she loves to share her eclectic taste with anyone who will listen.

Siby strives to write books that make the reader bask in the sweet glow of new love, burn hot with a passionate intensity, and day drink from gut-wrenching heartache. Her characters are not world-famous rock stars or billionaires, rather every-day small-town people experiencing their own extraordinary romantic adventures in the Rocky Mountains she calls home. Siby loves to hear from fans and can be reached at [email protected].

Wow, that was one hot book! This is basically the story of Rich Girl/Poor Boy and I for one really enjoyed reading it. Brannon Forrester is a mechanic, and although he now owns his Grampa's old garage, he still feels that he is a blue collar worker who would never in a million years attract the attention of Sophie Buchanan. He first see's her at a wedding, when he is helping out his friends who are in a band - he is their unofficial roadie and when his eyes catch sight of the blonde beauty who is looking wistful and lonely, he decides he just has to find out more about her. Unfortunately for him, she comes from one of the most rich families in the area.

Three years later, after man-whoring his way through the sluts at the Copperline bar, he gets the surprise of his life when Sophie picks him to have Post Breakup Sex. Not only that, but good girl Sophie has a bucket list of naughty things she wants to do and he just happens to be perfect for the role of helping her fulfil her list.

Now, I know a lot of people hate a man-whore, but I found Brannon to be a lovable one. I just really loved the dynamic between them. Sophie was sweet and quite lacking in self confidence due to her parents only praising her worth in looks and social behaviour, but she wasn't annoying in any way shape or form. She decides she wants to learn how to depend on herself and goes for what she wants and she's no pushover either.

Their relationship wasn't rushed and I loved the build up of their love, especially during her experimental phase - did I say this book was HOT?

There was one scene I could have done without, but I am a forgiving person and if Sophie can forgive then so can I because Brannon was perfect for her and alls well that ends well.

This is a stand-alone, told entirely from Brannon's POV.

Brannon Forrester sees Sophie first time at a weeding where he is helping out his friends who are in a band. He’s immediately intrigued by her. She is beautiful and classy and so different from other girls he met so far. When he finds out who she is, he really wishes she was anyone else, because the blonde beauty is Sophie Buchanan, a very rich girl who would never hook up with a tattooed, pierced guy like him.

Three years later, Brannon is a mechanic and has his own shop. He is a man whore and he doesn’t do relationships. At a party, he sees Sophie again. He is more than surprised to see a girl like her, who oozes class, money and style at a band party and more surprised when Sophie picks him up for a one night stand. They spend a hot night together, they part ways, but after few weeks they meet again.

Sophie was treated all her life like a porcelain doll. Everyone has certain expectations from her. Her parents always told her what to do, what to say, what to wear etc. She’s not that kind of girl who hooks up with strangers, but all she wanted when she met Brannon at the band party is to be wild and free. She wants to find who she is and to experience life. She even has a bucket list and Brannon is eager to help her. They hang out almost every day, becoming some sort of friends, but soon their relationship starts to change. They don’t know how to label their relationship, but who cares when they are so good together.

I enjoyed this one, but I wanted more originality. At times I felt like I already read the book. Also the story was very, very predictable. So my problem with this one was the plot, I think. I really enjoyed the story was told entirely from Brannon’s POV. I liked both main characters. Brannon is a sweetie. She sweet and even caring with Sophie as the story progresses. He’s a great friend and a decent brother. I liked how he is with Sophie; how supportive and attentive he is all the time, how he wants to help her find herself and of course how he is more than ready to help her with her bucket list. In the end he gave Sophie what she always wanted an never have, love.

Sophie was a sweet girl and I liked her as well. She was sweet and funny, at times a little naïve and she was great with Brannon. She knows money are not the most important thing in life and I liked that she wasn’t a spoiled brat.

I liked the dynamic and the banter between them. The sex scenes are off the charts hot, especially the first one, when they hook up at the party.

Overall, a good read!

Brannon Forrester spends most of his time doing what he pleases. He inherited a garage from his Grandfather, where he spends his days waist deep in car innards. But at night, he can be found hanging around with his BF's band, and absorbing all the debauchery that falls at his feet from that.

He’s never had a girlfriend, couldn’t imagine anything further than a lonesome f&ck & fumble. But he does have a craving for someone, a fascination, a longing, an ambition that will never materialise.

Sophie Buchanan. A little rich girl from another world. Walks into the party, and makes a beeline for Bran. Is she for real? Is this really happening?

Told entirely from Bran’s POV, this is a totally endearing story of a rich girls rebellion against her familial led future. Sophie embarks on a "slut list” of sorts, with Bran as her guide. It is told with humour, intensity, and a friend's questionable Irish lingo
:-/

I loved both the MC’s a lot. They captured me from the start. I just wanted to squeeze the sweetness out of Bran, as he came to terms with the effect Sophie was having on him. Delightful. Sophie, shy, but sure, navigated her way through the fallacy that was her life, with determination and devotion. And to top this delightful story, was the heated, unbridled passion that we were spoilt with at very regular intervals. Jeez, they just couldn't keep their hands off each other!

"...because you filled my empty heart."

I can't even tell you how surprised I am at how much I liked this book. It's holy shit-hot. I mean really smoking, screaming sexy. Fairly quick read but with enough story added to the sexy that my heart was a little invested too. For those looking for something quick and steamy, this is perfection. With more books in the series that get better and better ratings. Yay, me!!

Honestly speaking, what was the point of this book?
Other than-- finding love, breaking out of the norm, society views and prejudices, and the protagonists learning to be themselves and pursue their own wants? I mean, yeah, technically they are actual points, but the execution just floundered for me and did not do any of it justice. Hence, why I found it empty.

It was lust, sex, sex, and sex! No real content or development between both main characters whatsoever! Sophie's character got on my nerves and Brannon's personality was just blah! Nothing!

*shakes head* I so could have gone without reading this. It honestly just felt like it had no purpose whatsoever...

Sorry! :(

An Arc received in exchange for an honest review.

I've read a few of Sibylla's books and this by far the best and hottest read so far. She really turned up the heat with this one.

Sophie prim and proper from the upper class, the good girl always doing as she's told and putting on a false front for her parents.

Brannon has lusted after Sophie for a while now after seeing her at a wedding, so when she walks in to the party and heads straight for him he cant believe his luck.
They don't mix in the same social circles and Sophie just wants to let her hair down and have a good time. The good girl Sophie just wants to rebel and have a bit of fun with her bucket wish list. A great steamy hot sexy wish list it was too!!!

A wonderful story of a young woman trying to find herself and found a beautiful man along the way.

This story reminded me of Common People by Pulp I had this song in my head the whole way through.

Thanks Sibylla.

I started this book 8pm last night and finished it at 3am this morning! I couldn’t put it down! I just had to know how everything worked out! It was that entertaining! I love a book that once you finish one chapter you say “okay, I’ll just read one more and put it down” and then it’s onto one more chapter after that and so on. And, then before you know it, you’ve read the whole entire book. This was and is that type of book! I was just so wrapped up in the story and the characters. And, what a bunch of “characters” they were! Now, my favorite Sibylla Matilde character has always been Ronin from Little Conversations. From the first time that I read about him, my heart soared!!! He was that magnificent! Just such a beautiful desirous male! But, now that I’ve read her newest release, Brannon sure gives Ronin a run for his money!!! That badboy image is so friggin' attractive to a good girl!

Brannon Forrester is without a doubt a manwhore. He’s not a bad guy. He owns his own business. He’s a great friend. He’s a good brother. But, when it comes to women, he’s not shy about making it known that he’s not that commitment-type of guy. He’s sole purpose is to bag them and move on. At least that was his normal way of thinking until cute little Sophie Buchanan barrels into his life. He’s seen her from a distance, and she’s always turned his head. But, she’s out of his reach. She’s comes from money. Rich as all hell! But, he is a mechanic. A blue-collar worker. They’re not even in the vicinity of the same food-chain. So, he secretly watches and waits until one night she unexpectantly comes to him. Sophie is tired of always being perfect. Not a hair out of place. The flawless daughter who is always doing the right thing. Never one to rebel from her parents controlling ways. But, when her current boyfriend does something so despicable, she can’t help but to end their relationship and try to change her “perfect” nature. And, that’s where Brannon comes in. She’s on the prowl at a party to ramp up her naughty-girl image, and he’s the answer. Do something out of character. Something so dangerous and thrilling. Something that would definitely shock and embarrass her parents. Sophie appropriately picks Brannon. He’s lethel and wild. He would never say no to her offer for sexual favors. He’s so friggin’ turned on by her. She’s beautiful and innocent. And just the thrill of her being off-limits is enough to entice him even more.

Oh, my God!!! This was one hot romance! Brannon was one sexy dude!!! And, Sophie couldn’t get enough of him. Her bucket list of new and exciting experiences was indeed enticing. And, she was determined to engage in every single one of them – with Brannon’s help, of course. I laughed and grinned and smiled throughout the entire book. And, when Brannon’s real feelings came out, I was so happy for him. He really and truly had changed. Sophie crept into his soul and lit it on fire. She was a hard person not to like. She was a sweetheart of a girl that had been missing out on life. She needed to be free from her parents’ domineering embrace and be able to make her own decisions. And, to just walk away from the only thing that she has ever known, would be quite the challenge. These two afflicted individuals needed each other. They understood each other. They consumed each other. They adored each other. But, when all is said and done, will they be together as a couple???

Ms. Matilde couldn’t have captured my attention more with this story of hope and desire. The story is told solely in Brannon’s POV, which was gratifying. He was just such a typical guy’s guy – the crude language, the dirty sex talk, and the drinking. The author wrote some laugh-out-loud funny stuff that had me grinning from ear to ear. The two main characters were knockouts and their friends were a blast! Denny, Justin, Drew, and Cody. Loved the banter between the guys along with Denny’s Irish tone! Cody was always being fired by Brannon – loved that little tidbit! And, oh my God, the intimacy...DAMN, Hot Hot Hot!!! Definitely panty-melting material!! Scorching! This was one highly erotic read!!! That’s why I say with a Sibylla Matilde book you get everything you could possibly crave as a reader – intense drama, endless humor, loyal friendship, and blazing desire. I wasn’t all that crazy about the title of the book, but what was written within the pages was well worth my time. This was one impressive read! So, when is the next one in the series coming out, Sibylla??? Not soon enough:)

“Do or die? It’s a reminder to live every day like it’s my last.” ~ Brannon (Chap. 5)

And, no, Sibylla this book didn’t suck... It was awesome!!!

Thanks to the author for providing me with a copy for an honest review...

Post Breakup Sex is book #1 in The Copperline Series was a hot and steamy 5 star read.

This is Brannon Forrester’s story. He is a tattooed and pierced bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. He has his own shop and hangs out with the Bangin’ Mofos and reaps the benefits of women.

There has been one woman that has been untouchable to Brannon, Sophie. She came from money and was upper class. He didn’t stand a chance, until one night at the club. Sophie approaches Brannon and asks him to fuck her. Who can resist a request like that, and boy does he ever. He fulfills his needs and Sophie’s needs, several times. The scene was very hot.

Weeks later Brannon see’s Sophie at a gig the band is playing and ends up coming to her rescue. Sophie leaves with Brannon and let’s just say things get very heated from here on out.

There is something about Sophie that draws Brannon in and he can’t get her out of his mind. Sophie reveals to Brannon that she has a bucket list of things she has always wanted to do. It is a very dirty bucket list that Brannon is very happy to help her with.

Every layer I uncovered revealed another facet of her personality. Another fascinating enticement that drew me closer, making her even more desirable than before. I was so screwed.

There are ups and downs for Brannon and Sophie, especially when it comes to her parents who are extremely snooty high class jackasses. I did not like them at all. There are a few twists and turns that will leave you hurting and wondering if these two can truly make it work. There is a scene with Brannon that totally broke me and had me in tears.

“If you love someone, set them free…” I trailed off. I didn’t want to think about the ‘if they don’t come back’ part.

There is so much more to this great read, with lots of hot sex, you may need a cold shower when you’re done. There is M/F, M/F/M, and F/F/M. We get to meet the Bangin’ Mofos and the women around them; they all added a great element to the story. We do get to see a HEA but it was not easily obtained. Sibylla Matilde draws you in with her writing, this series was my first read from her and I loved it. Post Breakup Sex is the first book in The Copperline Series and can be read as a standalone, I can’t wait to read the rest. I highly suggest 1-clicking and get reading today. Thank you Sibylla.

Warning: 18+ readers due to strong language and strong explicit sex scenes

Wow, Sibylla turned up the heat with this book!

Brannon Forrester , hot sexy "orgasim donor" and let's say it now, man whore, first laid eyes on the beautiful upper class. Sophie Buchannon 3 years ago at a wedding that he was helping his freinds lugged band equipment and
Set up.
Sophie, was the beautiful blonde wistful girl with the idiot boyfreind at her side and totally out of his league, rich gorgeous and not for him; though it did not stop Brannon from thinking of her over the years .
Imagine his surprise when she shows up at a Mofos after party , all slutted up and hot as hell , eyes him from across the room and asks if he delivers on , His shirts statement" orgasim donor" , well what's a guy to say but hell yeah!
With that simple statement, Sophie went from being the girl of Brannon's fantasies to the women he just can not get enough of; and she has a bucket list of naughty things that she wants to experience during her little rebellion against her overbearing parents and Brannon is more than happy to help her cross items off that lists long ashes along for the ride.

Sophie bucket list
1. Get really really drunk
2. Get stoned
3. Kiss a girl
4 ride a Motorcycle without a helmet
5. Dance all night
6 go to bed when the sun comes up
7 have "woohoo" in public
8 have a threesome
9 and get a tattoo

These two proceed to work through that naughty bucket list and the man whore starts to become the reliable stable monogamous lover, though thieir road through it all is not all smooth , it is hot as hell at times , equally as frustrating because of the difference In their lifestyles and Brannon's inability to Admit his feelings .Sophie's inability to believe that he really wants to be with her and her alone when he has been with so many women before.

What can I say, Sibylla had me and chapter one! " Three Licetenous years Later " and I could not put this book down . Her books just keep getting better !

I'm a fan of Sibylla, everybody knows that... What can I say... She did it again... But better and hotter and sexier ;)

5 BIG Do or die stars... Damn this book was HOT HOT HOT....
Ok... So this is a forbidden love kind ok book. Is completely different from anything that I ever read from Sibylla. And is a damn sexy book.
Sophie was born surrounded by money and you would think that she had anything that she wanted. Well you couldn't be more wrong. She had and was everything that her parents wanted her to be and have... And when her fiancé and supposedly best friend betrayed her, she went on a journey to discover who she really was, what she really liked, what her body spirit and mind desired .
And then there was Brannon, just a mechanic, body full of tattoos and piercings, a man hor...
The first time Brannon put his eyes on Sophie he was fascinated by her, for the mystery her eyes showed, but when he discovered who she was, he knew that he couldn't have her. She was rich and hight society and he was... "Just a mechanic"... But fate brought them together, and he ended up helping Sophie on her journey to rediscover herself, and at the end they ended up discovering each other as well... And did they discover each other ;P EVERY inch of each other ;D
If your looking for a SUPER sexy forbidden love, THIS is the book to read....
LOVED IT Sibylla.... Thank you for the opportunity... <3

I was lucky to get to read this early and I have to say it is amazing. Very hot!

Every book Sibylla Matilde has written, I have loved. This one is no different. So far I have read it four times. Yes, four! It is THAT good! Oh, and hot, very, very Hot, like H.O.T! It's a wonder the pages aren't singed. So don't say I didn't warn you, right from the outset, be prepared to pack extra underwear (or none at all!!)

I love reading a book from the male perspective. This one is no different. You see just how vulnerable Brannon can be. Most of the time he is a cocky, self assured kind of guy, but throw Sophie Buchanan in the mix and he becomes someone else entirely.

Sophie isn't as delicate as she may seem. That girl has spunk and a lot of it (excuse the pun)! She knows what she wants, just not how to go about getting it. That is until she hooks up with Brannon.

There are a few bumps in the road along the way, mainly in the form of previous partners, but just when you think everything is going to be okay, BANG! I have to say, my heart was in my mouth towards the end, willing everything to be alright. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough, at the same time I didn't want the story to end. My only consolation? There will be more books from this series and I can't wait to read all about the shenanigans of Brannon's friends.

Don't forget to add to your TBR list!

I was lucky enough to be an alpha reader for another of Sibylla Matilde's books, and this one did not disappoint at all.

What happens when you're told to dress a certain way, live a certain way, speak a certain way and then act a certain way?

Well, that's what life is like for Sophie Buchanan. She's told what to do in every aspect of her life by her parents, even down to who she is supposed to marry.

But things are about to change for this high-society rich girl. In fact, one guy is going to drop a nuclear bomb on her life and change everything she has ever known.

Brannon Forrester is a pierced and tattooed God... I loved him the minute the book started. We are introduced to his life that revolves around his mechanic business and a bar called the Copperline. His friends are in a band and they play at the Copperline, so we see them throughout and learn a lot about their characters. I have bagsied Cody... FYI

So when Sophie decides enough is enough and she is going to take her own life into her own hands, her world collides with Brannon and a whole lot of heat and passion erupts.

I won't go into too much detail on the story because I want to leave that for you to read, but I hope you will enjoy this story as much as I did. Sibylla will always be an author that I can go to and read anything she writes.

I would recommend this book if you are after a hot, steamy read that will pull at your emotions.

This was so not what I expected. I'm not sure why but I thought this was gonna be a comical story. I'm so glad I was wrong.

Brannon and Sophie are complete opposites. Sophie picks Brannon for a one night stand- that night changes everything. Sophie was born into money. However that doesn't alter her. She's a really lovely and sweet girl. Brannons a man whore. When he saw Sophie he thought she was out of his league!

Great story told from the males point of view. If your looking for a hot steamy read then I recommend this little gem.

I so enjoy reading your books and this one is not different. Really great read for me.

I always feel like Sibylla waste an ARC on me, because my reviews are not typically what an author would look for when giving out ARC's. Those ladies who mostly get their books through ARC's are so creative and talented with their reviews and I'm just not. So... I'm sorry Sibylla, but thank you for always thinking of me.

Holy sh*tballs this book was freaking HOT!

The sex scenes were freaking unbelievable.

Brannon is such a manwh*re and beds any babe he comes across. He never, ever takes a girl to the Copperline but he sure as heck does leave with one or several (chuckle)! But then the unexpected happens ..... Sophie Buchannan, a rich girl who Bran never in a million years thought would run into her ever again. Granted, he doesn't personally know her but when he saw her 3 years ago at a park, he was drawn to her.

When Sophie walked into the Copperline with Lily, her intentions were to just have a one night of hot steamy sex with any random guy. Lily pointed out all the men wh*res that were at the bar and out of all of them, to Brannon's luck she picks him.

They have their one night of sex and then she leaves. It takes Brannon about a month to see her again and from that point on this book just got freaking hot, hot, HOT!

Even though Brannon was a major slut, when it came down to Sophie, he was a changed man. He didn't bother with any woman except for her and things were great between them, until a misunderstanding took effect and things started spiraling downhill for these two love birds.

Besides this book having lots and lots of great sex, it had a storyline behind it and it was a great one. Loved that even though Sophie was a rich girl, she didn't flaunt her money and she didn't care that Brannon didn't have any. She decides to rebel against her parents and wants to drop everything for Brannon, but she also wants to find herself and see if she can survive on her own since she's always depended on her parents for everything.

Brannon is there for her and is willing to just be her rock, but she wants to try things on her own and she does for a while. But can they stay away from each other long enough to screw things up again? They've already screwed up once -- it is possible for Brannon to fall off the wagon and do it again right!!

Well I think you should read the book so you can find out ;)

I totally recommend this book -- great, awesome, spectacular read and it's one of my favs this year already!!

5 stars for this read!

I was given an ARC FOR and honest review and WOW!!!!! Sibylla you did it again! Had me in tears! My heart hurting for the raw emotions that were present in this story!!!!
Sophie growing up in the "upper" class, given everything she could ever think of, whether wanting it or not, was dictated a life a she was going to have. Her parents had their mind made up of who she was going to marry all for the fortune and fame. Sophie knew deep down inside this was not what she wanted but could not bring herself to tell them otherwise. She wanted different, different from what she was taught was the way to live. Then she makes the one decision that would change her life forever. She stopped at some little nail place because it was bright with color and looked like fun. Never did she imagine this would take her life in a whole different direction. Lily, the owner of the shop and also the person who helped her face what she really wanted. She took her to a party, a party she would NEVER forget. Then she meets Brannon, the tattooed bad boy. Complete opposite of what her parents would ever want for her. Not knowing that Brannon secretly knew her from a wedding they both attended and secretly wanted her but knowing there was no way he would ever have her because of her social status. From that point on, the sparks fly and fireworks go off. The instant sexual tension they have will bring you to your knees!! When all perspectives are brought to light, a decision must be made. Sophie and Brannon are meant to be together. Will they be the ones to change each other? A Definite Must Read!!!!!

Read this just a few hours!! Best of Sibylla's books so far. You will fall in love with Brannon and Sophie!

Brannon spots Sophie at a wedding and is completely spell bound by her. However he soon discovers she is from "money" and feels like she is completely out of his league. Fast forward a couple years and he is officially introduced to Sophie through a mutual friend and well they totally combust in a back room. Soon Sophie confides to Brannon she is tired of being the perfect good girl and Brannon decides to help her with her so called bucket list of fantasies. Through her journey of self discovery Brannon decides she is all he has ever wanted but still feels like he is not good enough for her.

Sophie finally feels like she can stand on her own two feet and this is where we get a little anxious about the outcome of the book. Sibylla never disappoints with her amazing endings and she does not here.

I thought Ronin was my favorite Sibylla character but alas he has been replaced by Brannon... Holy Smokes this is one smoking hot read. The story is stellar. I loved all the secondary characters

I cannot wait for Denny;'s story!! 5 super nova +++ stars!!

4.5 * I really enjoyed this one! Loved the storyline, the "Do Or Die" bucket list, the banter and dialogue, the side characters and Bran, he was just so loveable. And finally a female lead I didn't want to punch in the throat :D

My first read from this author but not my last. Little conversations has been on my kindle forever and has been nudge up the TBR list.

I love reading books that are told entirely from the heroes point of view. Brannon definitely claimed his spot on my book-boyfriend list 😉.
This story was sweet and sexy. I mean, really hot. The chemistry was off the chain. It was short though, so there wasn't as much development, over all, as I would have liked. And while it sat a bit on the predictable side, I found I wasn't bothered by that at all because it was just such fun.

4.5 Stars - it would have been 5 stars -recommended read, regardless.

Firstly, I love this book and it's told from Brannon's p.o.v which was great.

3 years ago Brannon Forrester was at a wedding, he was drawn to a girl in a red dress - Sophie Buchanan - she had no idea he existed but back then he wanted her, but he couldn't have her.

3 years later - Brannon is known as a man-ho and after a long day at the garage he owns, he has one thing on his mind - get laid - and has spent the night at the Copperline scouting which girl to choose and confidently wearing a t-shirt with the words "Orgasm Donor" is not doing him any harm. His life changes when a made-over Sophie enters and then is sent in Brannon's direction, she walks over and utters the words "can you deliver on that promise?".

We're not even 7% in and we're gifted a passionate rendezvous in the back room which means more than both are willing to admit but the spark is clear to see and why this time is different for Brannon. He awakes the next day without Sophie and is gutted.

When at a town festival a month later he spots her. The hot, sexy, carefree, sweet & rock-his-world Sophie has disappointedly been replaced by the Sophie he can't have - prim, proper, emotionless & composed - and she is with her rich family. An altercation with her ex-boyfriend leads Brannon to intervene. This intervention, leads both on a journey that starts with a friendship but ends in love.

There is a sort of wish list and so there are m/f, m/f/m & a teeny f/f/m but even these scenarios do not undermine their growing love.

Brannon gives this story a voice and his p.o.v is sufficient to give us an idea at where Sophie's feelings lie. Although, he is known as a man-ho, he was so much more for me but I was surprised that as the book progressed he was not as confident and secure as he made out to be.

A misunderstanding between the characters has some devastating consequences for both but the situation Brannon found himself in was a no-no for me and so this ultimately led to my rating not being a 5 star.

This was a good introduction to this series and there are a few secondary characters which I am sure to feature. Looking forward to book 2.

My Rating:

4.5

Favorite Quotes:

I could have kissed her forever. Little things a body required like air and food were inconsequential when compared with the rampant need building inside me.

That one little gasp, that breathy sound, stirred something in me again. Jesus, she was like Viagra personified.

I don’t think I’ve ever said f#@ before,” Sophie giggled. “I feel kind of… naughty all of a sudden.

Her voice was the barest of whispers. “You make me feel… free.

Every thought in my brain was twisted together, and I couldn’t make sense of any of it. I could only hold her, feel her clutching me tightly, wanting to believe that all this truly meant something to her.

My Review:

The Copperline is a bar where the bands played loud, fights were common, and "the girls were always the easiest." It was here that the lovely Sophie first encountered Brannon; although it is not the first time he had noticed her. I was captivated by this couple and Ms. Matilde's writing. The narrative was written from Brannon's POV and was engrossing, heart squeezing, insightful, humorous, and endearing. Brannon is a blue-collar mechanic with tattoos, piercings and grease stains. Sophie is a cultured, beautiful, upper class, good girl who is expected to be a Stepford wife and marry as a business asset for her father. Under her parents' tight control and given her desire to please, she has never broken a rule or stepped out of line. By contrast, Brannon has enjoyed an easy-going lifestyle of a self-professed man-ho and friend to the popular bar band called The Bangin' Mofos, who never brings girls to the bar but leaves with a different one each night, and seldom speaks without the use of expletives. They could not have been more different or a better match for each other.

At the age of twenty-three Sophie has become restless and tired of her parents' constraints and wants to try new experiences which Brannon aptly labeled as her "Dirty Bucket List" and vowed to help with the various activities. What a sacrifice! The storyline was frequently erotic and deliciously sensual, requiring the constant use of my ceiling fan and a steady flow of cool drinks to avoid dehydration. I am more than eager to dive into the rest of the series.

I love this series. I read the second one first, although they can be read as a standalone book. I loved the second book but this book, the first is absolutely fantastic. I love that it is from Brannon's point of view. I have never read a whole romance book being in a man's POV and this is amazing stuff.
What I liked about this book is that Brannon is tough, he is friends with the band 'Mofos' and although it's taken from his POV the book is not weak with lovey-dovey words full of love or anything like that.

Brannon see's a girl sitting on a bench alone then she splashes in a small pond and he likes what he sees but, he sees sadness in her eyes. Sophie is rich and wants for nothing and Brannon knows she is too god for him, out of his league and class.
Three years later Sophie walks in the Copperline where the Mofos are playing and she wants sex with someone when Brannon sees her he is the man for the job.
When Brannon wakes up Sophie is gone and he is a little annoyed at her for leaving but, after a month she is at a Festival, sponsored by her dad were the Mofos were playing. Brannon sees Sophie with a guy who has his hand on her arm and twisting it so Brannon steps in to help her out.
The guy leaves and Brannon and Sophie tart talking. She tells Brannon about all the things she wants to do in a way of rebelling, a bucket list of all sorts. So Brannon starts helping Sophie with her list from having a tattoo, smoke weed, have someone watch them have sex, have a threesome and kiss a girl.
Brannon comes along for the ride and watch over her, to make sure she doesn't get into trouble or is taken advantage of.
Being in high society Sophie has to be carful not to get caught by anyone she knows and her parents.
As the book progresses so does the feelings between Brannon and Sophie and there is an explosion of emotions when Sophie does get cought by her parents.

I really, really love this book, it's beginning to be my favourite series of this year. I can't get enough of the Mofos and the second book is just as amazing as the first.
The Mofos are a band and I can't wait to read about the rest of them.
This is a banging book and everyone should read it.

When you know something feels right you should never let it go.....Brannon Forrester can describe Sophie Buchanan in 4 simple words.....Class, Integrity, Conscience and Heart but when Sophie is trying to achieve her Bucket List she is also I trying to find herself. She has always been Sophie Buchanan daughter of rich society parents that are grooming her to be a step-ford wife, that his how she feels about her life. When Sophie is faced with a decision she has to make on her own she has no one to turn to for guidance, no friends or family members .... she finds Brannon the man-whore himself but he knows her, see's her, feel's her and wants taste her....but they run in different circle....she would never fall for him....or will she ??

Brannon is trying to help Sophie full fill her Bucket List but in the mean time he is also falling for the a girl he always though was untouchable. But will Sophie see that Bran I'd changing and he isn't the same man he was when she met him....he doesn't bring girls to the Copperline Bar he leave with them....they'd always say but he ONLY brings Sophie ..... Sometimes the bad has to happen to see the good. After a misunderstanding that was both of there faults can they find there way back to each other ?? Or will Sophie have to find herself first to be independent on herself for once before she can be with Brannon or will Brannon go back to his old ways before Sophie ??

This book will have you gripping the end of your chair......you won't be able to put it down ......And you will need lots and lots of ice water as this book is HOT HOT HOT !!

I absolutely LOVED this book and don't know how I will be able to wait till Spring for Denny's book.....oh did I mention Brannon also has sexy friends !!!!
