I can't begin to express how much I enjoyed the dynamics of this story
Lilly was hurt once when she thought she had found love and he left her with a note. Now she is very distrustful of the claims of the vampire king's that she is his Soul Mate, she feels the mate pull, but she is a werewolf and his kind will never accept their mating, besides he will soon realize she is the wrong mate for him and break her heart. Will she be able to resist him though?
King of the vampires Sindrid has lived a very, very long time and has never met his mate, now after centuries he finally finds her, but she is not making it easy for him. Will he be able to control the passion he feels for her while trying to convince her that she is the only woman for him, no matter what anyone says? He has the last word after all, he is the King!
Lots of family dynamics, I laughed, even cried and jumped for joy. It is such a pleasure to read about vampires having such deep emotions. Shifters, witches and vampires unite to bring justice to those responsible for the evil that has befallen them. Can't wait to read the next book in this series Love of a Shifter.

I was gifted a copy for an honest review.
This is my first Bryce Evans book and I truly enjoyed her writing. Her hero and heroine are strong characters and I love a strong sexy alpha and a sassy stand-up for herself heroine.
Lilly had her heartbroken and is still licking her wounds. Pun intended she is a wolf shifter. A strong, take charge kind of lady, she is also a very caring and protective person, who loves deeply.
Sindrid is King of the vampires, has lived for hundreds, maybe thousands of years and has never had a mate. One meeting with Lilly and he knew he had found his mate.
There is great intrigue and adventure that the two are involved in and I enjoyed the ride.
Destiny of Blood (Love a a Shifter #4) is a well-written paranormal romance. I would highly recommend this book and this series.

When I read the end of book 3 I was so stoked to read this one! Sindrid Abner The Vampire King...you can't get better than that. He's lived thousands of years and has been incognito for a very long time. Everyone thought he was dead so naturally everyone treats this like Jesus' second coming when he reappears. lol. He's tall, dark, and sexy. Yum. Lily's always wanted a mate, craves it, however, when she meets him she doesnt seem to want him lol. Lots of reasons. First because she was really hurt and has been burned by a man before. Mason actually who is an Alpha of a close pack. Its been 3 years but the betrayal is still a bit fresh for her. She fears it and doesnt want to get hurt again. Its the way Mason ended things is what hurt her the most. A note...yes...a note in a Hotel room no less. Seriously? What a pussy! Then she is also worried that Sindrid's people wont accept her because he's King of Vampires and she's a wolf. There's still a lot of bigotry going on. I give him props for being slow with her and getting to know her...or trying lol. He's so very sweet and head over heels for Lily. Then there is Gabriel...oh poor kid! He's Sindrid's best friends child. Parents were murdered and left him an orphan. Since Gabe's dad and Sindrid had a bit of a falling out Sindrid didnt know they were killed and he feels a lot of guilt over it. Gabe loves him and Lily and accepts them into his heart and life. He's so cute. :) Now...I am a little confused as to his age. When we first meet him I am thinking 15-16 range. However, as the book goes Lily talks as if he's way younger. So, I am unclear as to his age. Lots of things happen in this book and we're talking shifter, witch, and vampire harvesting...nasty business. Which is the reason Gabe's parents were killed. Also, a tidbit at the end Nash meets his mate! Ha...wont tell ya who. Gotta read it! :)

I am hooked on Bryce Evans! I've been following this series from the beginning and the stories are all so different and unique that I'm never bored!
This story, if you've been following, is about Lily Wilder. (Larken and Larsen's younger sister. Book 1)Lily is living up the single life while hiding her broken heart. Being a shifter isn't easy, especially when you thought you were in love with your mate only to find out you weren't mates at all. So when the king of vampires declares her as his mate, Lily is having none of it and closes her heart to more hurt.
Sindrid Abner, Vampire King, has lived for countless centuries never finding is one true mate. Never giving up hope but not actively looking for a mate any longer Sindrid stumbles upon Lily. He knows instantly she is his mate, his mate he's waited for.
Thank god Sindrid has patience! Lily definitely put him through his paces as he keeps up and gives as good as he gets! The chemistry is off the charts! As their story unfolds, their friendship builds the foundation for their mating bond and I just loved this so much. This story is different from the previous books because this is just about Sindrid and Lily. There is no menage at all in this book and it changes the pace from the rest of the series in a very pleasing way.
I'm looking forward to more from Bryce Evans!

Destiny of blood by Bryce Evans
This is book 4 in a series but can be read as a standalone. I wasn’t sure it would work as a stand alone and was certain I would be missing parts of information vital to the story but I was wrong it worked perfectly and no missing info!!!!
This book is a paranormal read and was to all intents a very very good one there were some hot scenes and a very unique story line which I thoroughly enjoyed. There wasn’t any dull part to the book which made it very hard to put down, hell I kept telling myself I would have a break after this chapter, but that never happened it was just too action packed to leave alone.
The characters were likeable some even swoon worthy. They were described accurately and you knew their background and why they behaved in the manner that they did.
All in all I was really impressed with this book and I for one will be buying the rest of the series and watching out for new work from the author.
I am rating this book 5 stars.

This series just keeps getting better and better.
Lily and Sindrid meet at the Valentines Dance where the purpose is to get shifters together in hopes of them finding their mates. Sindrid instantly knows that Lily is his mate. Lily also knows this but a past hurt makes her cautious in acting on the mating pull.
I really liked this book. While there were many things I liked about this book, that part I liked the most was the way that Mrs. Evans wrote Sindrid. He is the king of the vampires. You don't more alpha than him. In the books before this one, when the female is fighting the mating pull, the men would start acting demanding and start ordering the female around which in their case never ended well. In this book, Mrs Evans took the biggest and baddest vampire and while he was dominating, he gave Lily her space to accept him and their destiny. To me this said a lot about the type of man he was.
I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to find out what is happening with Nash!

Gideon had a thumb drive with information about some humans, shifters and vampires working together to kidnap their own kind and drain them of blood. Realizing that this was a mission for the Unit the information is brought before them and they are searching for more information when their newest member is kidnapped.
Does Lily and the King get mated? Who protects and cares for Gideon now? And where does Emerson, the newest member of the Unit, fit in? To answer these questions, read the book.

Another great book in the Love of a Shifter series.
It takes a special woman to be the mate of a centuries old vampire king and she wasn't it! Or so Lilly kept telling herself. Having been hurt by love in the past, Lilly knew she'd ever survive being left again and she Knew in her heart if she ever let the vampire king into her heart, he'd end up hurting her.
But fate has a way of messing with the best of plans, especially when the fate of a young boy in danger gets thrown into the mix! Do Lilly and the vampire king work it out? Does Gabriel, the young boy, find safety? This story will have have you crying one minute and laughing the next. One of Ms. Evans best works in this humble reader's opinion. I am so looking forward to book #5 in the series as well.

Lilly is the care giver to all, shifters, vampires, witches and more. But finding a mate for herself is not in the cards (she thinks).
Sindrad is the king of the Vampires and one hard ass man.
Oldest being on earth and has never looked for or found his mate. That is until he sees her from across the room.
Lilly doesn't feel she is good enough to be a kings mate, but she does want to be a mother to Sindrad's best friends son, now that his best friend and his mate are dead.
Can a caregiver, a vampire king, and an orphan become a family? And can they live through kidnappings and torture of the supernatural?
I promise you will love this book as must , if not more than the first 3.

Prior to reading this book I had not read any of the previous books and I was worried I wouldn't follow the story or would miss any vital info from the other books..As this was book 4 in the series. But it can be read as a standalone without feeling lost...
Wow this book is hot and had plenty of phew moments.. The story is easy to follow and gripping. Which was really hard to put down. Once I started I couldn't stop and had to find out what was happening.. I really enjoyed this book and will be starting from the beginning.. And will be looking out for more from this author.. Fantastic paranormal book.. Unique and captivating.

This series is getting better and better. I absolutely love Lily, she is an amazing character. Strong and independent, loved by everybody. And she meets her mate - king of vampires Sindrid Abner. Together with the Unit they investigate kidnapping of shifters.
I loved watching Sindrid"s and Lily's relationship develop, their sexual tension was palpable.
This story is an emotional roller coaster. Twists and turns keep you on your toes. Can't wait to read book 5.

I have been hooked on this series from the start. It leeps on getting better. I didn't want to put this book down. It has everthing that I expect from from Bryce Evans, its full of action, humor and can't forget the steamy scenes. I was touched by a couple new characters. I just love how the characters interact with each other. I can't wait to read what happens next.

Singrid, the vampire king found his mate Lilly. Little did he know that she did not believe in this love or mate pull because she had been hurt before. As all of her stories this one has so much going on in the story that you cannot put it down to find out how it ends. Highly recommend this and all her books.

I Love This Series!
I always look forward to reading the next book in this series, as each book are totally awesome! Im glad that Lily got her HEA and her book was worth the wait. I soooo cant wait for Nash and Emerson's book, have been waiting like forever for Nash's book, since Ash's book, and hope i don't have to wait long lol.

Great read
I really love this series it just keep getting better it even made me cry several time my emotions was so wrapped up in the story it was full of action, humor and I can't forget steamy attractions between the mated couples. I totally recommend this book to anyone who loves sexy alpha male and there strong sassy powerful mate.

Love this series. Lily and Sindrid were great together. This was a great continuation to the rest of the books. Anyone who starts this series should start with the first book.
