i absolutely love, love, loved this 4 book series. i could not put these stories down, it captured my interest from page one. my life was literally on hold for 3 days of non stop reading. each book was better than the last. such an emotional roller coaster ride, and so much action and adventure.

i fell in love with the characters fast and will miss them. so sad the series ended. it will take a lot to find another series that can captivate me like this one.

i am a first time reader of this author and have fallen in love with her writing. what do i do now that i have finished this series...oh my..

I absolutely love this series and love Ally's character and her romance with Jack. Talk about a roller coaster of a ride with this book. Ally, Remy, and now Mina are a force to be reckoned with and some want to use that power for the seers to take over countries, if not the whole world. The three young people, Mina, Remy, and Ally have their work cut out for them. The ending of the book is a tear jerker, with Ally standing with Remy and Mina behind her, as she realizes certain truths. This makes me anxious for what will be found in the fourth book. It will definitely be an epic conclusion I bet. I already have some ideas about what is truly what, and I hope that I will see in book four if I am on the mark or totally off the mark.! This book ends on a cliffhanger which I love cliffhangers by the way. I can't wait to see what choices she will make I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Crystal's 5 Star Review
As with The Dreamer, you must read these books in order. You want to anyways, this series is awesome!
Ally Moran worked hard and graduated a year early so that she could graduate with Jack. They are both enrolled at the University of New Mexico (my alma mater) and are hoping for a relaxing year. That’s not going to happen though. When Ally gets home, she finds out that her mom has lied to her about her father all her life. Her dad saw both Ally and her mom on the television and wants to meet her. It seems that when her mom found out she was pregnant, she left college and moved back home, never telling her boyfriend that she was pregnant. She also never contacted him to let him know he had a child. When he comes into her life, he buys her both a house and a car. Wanting her to have both a safe place to live and a safe car to drive. He wasn’t happy with her classic Beetle with no airbags.
Ally was now working with both the Irish and French Seers council and Remy is now her ally. A prophecy has been foretold about Ally, Remy, and her new friend from Ireland, Mina. Both Remy and Mina move to Albuquerque to figure out what this prophecy means.
But that’s not all that Ally has to deal with. She is being stalked and doesn’t know who it is. The stalking is getting scary, the person knows what she’s reading for her classes, where she goes, and starts leaving gifts on both her car and doorstep.
I can’t tell you enough that this series is amazing! The writing is continually getting better, the characters are real and you feel like you are part of the story. I definitely recommend this series!!

The Seer (The Seeker Series 3) - Amy Reece 4 Stars

This is the 3rd book in the series and they do need to be read in order.

Ally secretly travels off to France with Remy to meet the current 'oracle'. They are trying to force her and Remy together, but Ally and Remy soon learn they are not mean to be together romantically. Ally is not only dealing with her role as a powerful seer, her father she never knew appears on the scene along with a new seer and a strange stalker - can Ally stay strong with her emotional rollercoaster of a life?

Whilst I absolutely love this series and love Ally's character and her romance with Jack, I did feel this one was initially lacking the excitement and adventure that the first two in this series had - things did however heat up nicely towards the end. I found this book initially answering some of the questions surrounding the connections in France and Ireland. This book ends on a cliffhanger - my heart breaks for Ally and I can't wait to see what choices she will make - I am left eagerly awaiting the next book in the series.

A coming of age story where Ally is the focus of a prophesy and it’s been determined that she will become the future ‘Oracle.’ Though Ally just wants to live a normal teen-age life with her boyfriend, Jack, she knows her life is bound to her friend Remy and their newest seer, Mina. I loved the interactions between the three and could feel Ally’s frustration in attempting to incorporate all the elements of her life into a happy coexistence with one another. There were a couple slow spots, but overall the pacing was good and the dialogue witty in this well-written installment to the Seeker Series.

This third book in The Seeker Series takes things to the next level in the mystery department. It also involves some very sad and frightening news. I felt so sorry for Jack and Ally and all they are having to endure.

Present Feeling of Paranoia With An Uncertain Future Brings A Lot of Stress. . .

This is the third book in the Seeker series and leaves right off where Dreamer left us. So if you have not read the previous books you must or you will be lost, plus they're great. This story is about the characters transitioning from high school to college life with it comes a lot more adult life situations, decisions and stress. The story flows rather slowly till the middle when it picks up jumping a year ahead to allow for character and plot growth.

Flying to France with Remy instead of Ireland like she was supposed to is both thrilling and scary to Ally. The question of knowing if she is THE Oracle is huge, so meeting Remy's grandma and the rest of the French council is something Ally knows she must do. Ally meets the Remy's grandma, Kate, the current Oracle, who makes it clear that she still intends to make Remy and Ally a couple despite Ally repeatedly mentioning Jack, but she will not be deterred. Then enters the Irish Seer council leader with a new girl named Mina, who is also very powerful. When Mina, Remy and Ally touch a new prophecy is revealed by Kate suggesting the three of them are bound in some way and a new era of the Seers is at hand. Ally finally returns home to New Mexico this time with Mina and Remy, but home turns out to be even less peaceful. Getting a chill every so often Ally is plagued with a feeling of being watched and at night she had terrible nightmares of being chased by an unknown man. However that's not the only thing in her life adding stress, Ally is told by her mom that her dad suddenly wants to meet her and have a relationship with her. College life turns out to be no picnic with its work load, different classes and people. Then there is the whole question of Jack and Ally's possible progression into a deeper relationship, which has Ally wondering if they'll ever take the big steps forward or stay where they are, because of their ages and Ally's ever growing Seer issues.

Overall, I liked the story but I found the first part slow and kept waiting for the book to get going. The whole story was setting up for the next book since the characters are in a transitional phase of their lives. This book needed to be written but I wonder if some of this could have been split into the previous book and added to the next. I loved the new prophecy and I think I figured it out, buuut I shall just wait and see. Jack and Ally's relationship is growing and is more solid now, though it looked like it was going to break for a minute there in the beginning. Ally is learning that life is messy and people are strange creatures with motives of their own that do things no one can or will understand at times. Being a seer is definitely not all it is supposed to be and watching Ally almost crack under the pressure of the nightmares and stalker was grueling. I can't wait to see how it all works out in the next book and I hope Ally's rushing into trouble attitude doesn't get the gang into too much danger; Because I really want Ally and Jack to have a HEA. So if you're continuing on with this series you'll be happy to know that this story is filled with love, suspense, mystery, frustration, visions and the total cast of characters you'll love including a new one or two.

In the "Seer" the third book in the series Ally attracts trouble like a magnetic that begins with an electrifying meeting of three powerful psychics, the newest from Ireland- Mina Addair. The action is fast-paced not only as Ally, Mina and Rémy's combined power fuels a mysterious prophecy about the "time of the Seers being at hand" and each playing a vital part as "the Oracle, the Shield or the Heart of the Oracle," but also when an ambitious, power-hungry member of the French Conseil des Voyants tries to goad them into using their gifts to take over the nations. Uncertain whether or not she is the Oracle Ally wants nothing to do with either Seer Council and makes a determined decision to return home to start College in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her boyfriend Jack and best friend Tara.

Fleeing France accompanied by Rémy and Mina, the plot slows down considerably as Ally tries to live the normal life of a college student, getting to know her biological father and being introduced to a new baby brother. But a year later the pace picks up when Ally's stalked receiving roses, having her house broken into as well as being the target of cheesy, poetic messages in the college newspaper. As the tension and suspense heats up Ally loses weigh and fears for her sanity so Jack devises a plan to uncover the identity of the creepy stalker. What he sets in motion is a tragic set of circumstances that uncovers a deadlier game that has Ally terrified and fearing for the safety of her family and friends.

The emotional impact and strength of this story lies in the realism and complexity of its characters as they not only deal with the troubles in their lives, but their interaction and love for one another. The love between Jack and Ally continues to deepen amid the turmoil in her life. In a roller-coaster of emotions that fuel her moods Ally looks to Jack to anchor her with his patience and understanding as she deals with her psychic gifts and the ups and downs in her family. With her gift comes a connection to the enigmatic, reserved Mina and the sophisticated, flirtatious Rémy; the latter which fuels Jack's jealousy but helps keep Ally safe. It is these characters and others including Ally's best friend, the unpredictable, melodramatic Tara and Jack's stalwart, amiable cousin Mat who break the intensity of the plot with their witty banter and humorous actions.

With Amy Reece's novel "Seer" the series becomes even more tantalizing with a mysterious prophecy, and Ally, Mina and Rémy's growing power and I can't wait to read the next installment in this paranormal adventure.

Seer is book #3 in the Seeker series, I was lucky enough to be gifted a copy of this book to read for Gemma Reads Too much.

Well bloody hell that was intense!!

This book felt like a slow starter and then it had peaks and lulls that could have been eradicated by some serious filler editing.

When this story moves at pace its brilliant, I’m so into the seers and the prophecy that I was desperate for more of them.

About half way through this book it felt like the author lost their way a little and we didn’t hear a thing about the guy’s powers for chapters and chapters.

Seer has a creepy undertone running through it and although I could almost heard the serial killer music in the background it just didn’t work as well as the out and out action we had in the first two books in the series.

I still really like the characters in the book but I need them to grow up a bit. The weird nothing but kissing before marriage thing stunted Jack and Ally’s relationship. I’m not saying that they need to be ripping each other’s clothes off but for two college ages people to have no physical contact beyond kissing after two years is incredibly unrealistic.

I’m not sure what’s going on with Mina, I get the feeling that she hiding something, if not what is her place in the story???

I kind of feel that clubbing both Seer and the next book Oracle together might have been better because not enough happened in this book to encourage me to buy the next one

That being said I still enjoyed the book and knowing that I am going to go straight onto the next book soothed my frustrations.

Seer gets 3.5 stars from me.

Wow, just wow. Talk about a roller coaster of a ride with this book. Highs and lows, dips and curves, and even loopty loops. Ally, Remy, and now Mina (Jessamine) are a force to be reckoned with and some want to use that power for the seers to take over countries, if not the whole world. The three young people, Mina, Remy, and Ally have their work cut out for them. Both factions want them to come home, but they do not want that. The ending of the book is a tear jerker, with Ally standing with Remy and Mina behind her, as she realizes certain truths. This makes me anxious for what will be found in the fourth book. Ally has gone to France with Rèmy instead of going to Ireland like she was supposed to, but with everything she still has to learn it seamed like the best idea espically since Rèmy grandmother is the current oracle.

Time spent there makes them both realize just how much they still don't know and makes their next steps a bit uncertain. Coming home to New Mexico life is a normal yet still crazy with college and unknown family making an apperance in Ally's life.

Times goes on and you see Ally growning up and her love for Jack grow more and more even when there are things in their lives that are uncertain.

I enjoyed seeing Ally going from young woman to adult and watching as she becomes more of who she is meant to be.

There are still mysterys to solve and once again you will never see everything coming until it is right there in front of you.

I loved seeing old characters and new and seeing more of this amazing world.
