TAMING DEX
Zoey Derrick never seems to disappoint and she has taken the 69 Bottles series to new heights with Taming Dex.
You just want to punch some sense into Dex and his manwhore ways but he's met his match in Raine.
The feisty, but some what personally scarred PR rep, sent to help out Addison on the tour will work her butt off to tame Dex of his whorish ways.
Their relationship (for want of a better word) is volatile, smokin hot and very rocky
DEVOURING RAINE
Raine Montgomery (the assistant PR Rep for 69 Bottles) and Dex Harris (Drummer for 69 Bottles) continue their torrid relationship in Devouring Raine - the follow up book to Taming Dex.
Without giving any spoilers, readers will be pulled apart and mashed back together by the emotional, soul splintering, sexy as hell and heartwarming situations within this story. It continues the exploration of the relationship between two very soul beaten and broken people, allowing them to be the glue and string that binds each other's lives back together.
What a stellar story this wonderful writer has woven through the lives of not only her 69 Bottles characters but also the complimentary characters that inhabit her other wonderful works.
I would recommend that to truly understand the relationships amongst the characters in Dex and Raines story, readers would enjoy reading the stories of the contributing characters in Zoey Derricks other stories including her Claiming Addison, Craving Talon and Redeeming Kyle - The Trio's Trilogy -69 Bottles.
The Loves Wings series which introduces Cami and Tristans relationship and One Week - 365 Days where we fall hard for Dacotah and Dereck in their story.
Dex and Raines tale is a truly marvellous story, complimented with humour, intrigue, and the odd psychotic ex and I look forward to reading more about the characters from 69 Bottles.

I was given these books for my honest review
“I am drawn to you like a magnet. When I’m not around you, I miss you. When I’m near you, all I do is fuck shit up. I keep making an ass out of myself and one of these times you’re going to kick me to the curb.” Dex to Raine (This quote stood out to me in Taming Dex)
What more do you need to know? I shrug “I have been lost for so many years, wondering this earth with every little purpose until the day that I found you. Now I know who I am and where I belong. I will likely never feel worthy of a princess like you, but yo make me desperate to try harder. You make me want to be a better man. Every moment I’m with you is a treasure to me and AI will do anything to hold on to that forever.” Dex to Raine (This is the quote that stood bounds from Devouring Raine)
Both of these quotes in their own way made such an impact on me when reviewing these two out of this world books. So my review for these books is just that. Fascination, world abundance, speak softly and carry a Dex drumstick and enjoy this amazing read.

Words, I need to find words! Holy, holy hot! Great story of intsa-love. All main characters stood out in their own way. They face various temptations and danger, and many twists and turns along the way. Why have one lover when you can have more? Why have one soul mate when you can have multi? This book is sweet while being Scorching hot at the same time.

Dex: OMG!! WHAT AN AWESOME READ!!! LOVED IT!!! This book can be read as a standalone. You will be able to know who the characters are and get the story even if you have not read books 1-3. I haven't read the first 3 in the series just this one and let me tell you IT WAS AWESOME!! Zoey did a wonderful job with this story. She explained each character and explained about 69 Bottles so if you wanted to pick just this book up you wouldn't be confused. Now that I read this one I want to go back and read the first 3 in the series so I can learn more about each character cause they all seemed very interesting. Dex I fell in love with towards the end. Raine her story was very interesting and can't wait to read more about her. I feel her pain that's for sure. If you like Rocker series or Rocker books this one is a MUST READ. I am a huge fan of MC novels but this Rocker series has me wanting more Rocker style books. Yeah Motorcycles and Rockers yep sounds good to me. Excellent Job Zoey I can't say it enough. Again just cause you can read this as a stand alone WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO CAUSE THIS SERIES KICKED BUTT!!!

For the first few book in the series, there were echoes of the Sinners on Tour series - this series is good, that one is better. But it was different enough to not really distract me.
This book is closer to a fanfic based on the Sinners. There are so many parallels that I was wondering if I'd read this before. So only 3 stars for the story.
But 5 stars for the sex. Oh my, there were some very creative scenes, including their first encounter.
I hope that the next one explores new territory.

My outlook on Dex was blown out of the water after reading this installment to the 69 Bottles family....
