Stormy Smith is the author of the number one bestselling Bound series. She calls Iowa’s capital home now, but was raised in a tiny town in the Southeast corner of the state. She grew to love books honestly, having a mom that read voraciously and instilled that same love in her. She knew quickly stories of fantasy were her favorite, and even as an adult gravitates toward paranormal stories in any form.

Writing a book had never been an aspiration, but suddenly the story was there and couldn’t be stopped. When she isn’t working on, or thinking about, her books, Stormy’s favorite places include bar patios, live music shows, her yoga mat or anywhere she can relax with her husband or girlfriends.

I received this audio book in exchange for an honest review.

I am shocked, shocked I say! This narrator has some serious skills. She did accents perfectly. Her voice was so emotive, it was like I was there. I could hear the sarcasm, the playfulness and the serious tones. It was very expressive. Her book was full of so many different accents and it made the characters in my head come to life in a way that was impossible while reading to myself.

Its no secret I loves me some Stormy Smith. Her writing is professional, detailed and well rounded. And I wish this novella was longer just so I could hear the narrators voice nail all the different characters. I will say I found Aidan’s voice a bit hard to listen too at first, like she was trying to hit a lower register than was possible for her. It made me cringe a bit in the beginning. But once I got used to it, the whole cast really came together nicely.

I like this audio so much, I’m looking for other books she has narrated just so I can hear her voice again. Well done Kristin James! And of course, kudos to Stormy for writing such a wonderful book to be narrated

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This was the perfect holiday story!

If you've read any of the "Bound" series, you are aware of all the main characters have experienced. This book was like a vacation in their lives. It was the normalcy that they needed. But, it was also the chance for readers to see the characters in a different light.

I totally enjoyed every heart warming moment. Of course, I'm looking forward to reading more about Smith's great characters. This story will tide me over a little longer.

Thanks for an early Christmas present!

I absolutely loved this! Such a fun, feel good glimpse into the lives of our favorite Bound characters after the conclusion of Prophecy! l really enjoyed the quiet, sweet moments between Aidan and Amelia. This is sugar and spice and everything nice! It makes for a perfect palette cleanser, leaving you smiling and completely satisfied with where things are finally at after everything these characters have endured. A must read for fans of this series!

I received a copy of this in exchange for an honest review.

Well that was squeetastic goodness!!! Seriously, this was like a love letter to fans. So much awesome Aidan and Amelia time together....so much happiness! It's like the ultimate epilogue, and I LOVE a good epilogue. There was laughter and fun, lovey-dovey-ness and even some heart squeezing moments. And a teeny tiny glimpse into what they've been doing after BBP ended. And maybe even a surprise or two.

But seriously...who wouldn't love all that delicious togetherness? Awesome.

Christmas traditions

We are all bound by our concept of Christmas traditions. Thank you for taking time to remind us. This book was not about the struggle but the feeling of family and love. Good Lord knows we can all use a break from the struggle. Hope y'all enjoy reading it as much as I have.

Laughter, tears, lots of love and more tears. I didn't think a novella would satisfy my need for more from the characters of the Bound series but Bound Together was done so incredibly, I think I'm okay with it being the end. At least for now ;)

Christmas is a time to remember those you love, and Aidan is a strong influence for Amelia to experience Christmas to the fullest extent. They both haven't ever had a true, happy Christmas with loved ones and celebrating. They think on those they love, every ornament having a meaning when placed on the tree.

****FULL REVIEW****
*I requested to review a copy of this audiobook for an honest review from the author or narrator.

Amelia and Aidan have been searching for more Mages, AniMages, and Hunters among the world for over a month. Now, they return to a log cabin Micah has given them to be their home for rest for a few months. It feels awkward to have a place to call their own, but Aidan and Amelia are determined to make it their own. Especially for Christmas, the holiday where they both can share the love they feel for their friends and family.

Kristin James is the narrator that has become the voices of all the characters in this series. She started with the first audio book, followed through and has finished with this novella. The voices and enthusiasm of all characters is present as it has been with each book. I'm thrilled to hear the accents once again and the voice of all the characters.

This is a short novella, so I'm going to do a short review to not give anything away.

Oh young love. *sigh* They are still getting to spend their exploratory time together. Loving in the flirting and teasing ways. They are so in love. They are soul mates.

Christmas is a time to remember those you love, and Aidan is a strong influence for Amelia to experience Christmas to the fullest extent. Neither have had a true, happy Christmas with loved ones and traditional celebrating. They think on those they love, every ornament having a meaning when placed on the tree. Everyone is enjoying their holiday, sharing love with so many people. They are all spreading the love and cheer. This is the love that all should feel at the holidays.

Listening to these two together, in love, and enjoying every minute has made me smile the whole time. I enjoyed their excitement. Through all the smiling I even had a moment where I started to tear up. It's such a heart filled moment. So much love in these characters and after all they've been through, they get to enjoy it.

We do get a quick glimpse at Amelia being an Elder, Amelia's power is a beacon for all mages. Aidan worries that all who come seeking her will have good intentions.

This story feels like the concluding ending that we should have. It ties in the roles Amelia and Aidan and others come to rest at.

This novella takes place after Bound by Prophecy. So if you’ve not read it, hold off on reading this until then. Aiden and Amelia are spending the holidays in a cabin off of Mt. Shasta. It’s their first Christmas together and they want to make it perfect and create their own traditions and memories for one another.

It’s good to see Amelia and Aiden cut loose in this story. They get to have fun and by young for once, and it’s really needed. We also get to see another couple of people from the prior books in this one as well. I won’t spoil it and mention any names. Just know it couldn’t be any more perfect.

As this is a novella and part of a larger series, I’ll just go on and say that I fully recommend this book. It’s fun and delightful and makes it all so much better. :D I really hope to hear about other characters from this series getting their own story, because they’re so deserving of it.

Christmas spirit

I loved this fun holiday addition. Aidan and Amelia truly bring out the Christmas spirit in this book, I love the idea of only putting ornaments on the tree that mean something to you, instead of just decorations. What's next for all these fun characters? Can't wait.

Loved how Storming wound it all up with a Christmas bow. The friendships and love still going strong. The young lovers still discovering new things about each other while still holding onto the core of what they are individually and together. Bittersweet. Glad everything worked out but sad of not going to follow them any more.

Cute little follow-up story

Enjoyable little follow-up holiday story to the Bound series of "books." It probably won't mean much to you if you haven't read the books and it doesn't really continue the story, though. It's just a glimpse into the holidays for the main characters.

Hmmmmm

As with the rest of this series, most enjoyable. They're like my kids.
The stories are wonderful and full of feeling. They even teach, if you're open to it. I hope there are more to come.

More!

This was a real treat to read. However, I feel like it could have been longer. I wish it was longer lol I know it's a novella but I still feel like it's missing something.
