Undercover Justice by Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano

Mitch and Caroline go undercover to find a missing woman.
I'm amused by the interaction between Mitch and Caroline. Sparks. They are mad at each other and in love. Annoying to each other. Yet completely protective of each other.
Fun dialog with humor. The depth of the relationship between these two is getting intense.
This author's writing is now more compelling and gripping than older books. Well done. I'm really looking forward to future Justice Team stories.

Short excerpts of examples of why I like the tone of the writing.
"Mitch had dealt with his share of sensitive assignments. Hell, he’d been one of the those assignments when he’d been a fugitive on the run from the FBI and a murder suspect. He’d lost two childhood friends and nearly lost Caroline in the process. Sensitive? He laughed in the face of sensitivity.
Which, come to think of it, might be why he wasn’t the first person Grey had thought of for this supposed sensitive assignment. Also why Caroline kept trying to train him to use a filter."
Excerpt from Undercover Justice.

"She ran her brush through her wet hair and slapped on some moisturizer and sunscreen. She’d forgotten yesterday and if they were going to be out in blazing sun, she’d wind up crunchy. August in Vegas. No joke."
Excerpt from Undercover Justice

"Caroline’s eyes met Mitch’s and he grinned. This idea, he could get behind. He stepped closer and immediately, like she’d done thousands of times, she extended her right arm, hooking it around his waist, her fingers—those amazing fingers that did wicked-ass things to him—trailing along his back and firing something. Every time.
Every.
Time.
She touched him and his body went ballistic."
Excerpt from Undercover Justice.

Undercover Justice by Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano is a sexy novella in the Justice Team series. It is a sexy thrill ride in Vegas featuring Caroline and Mitch going undercover for a reality show. They scorch up the pages!

Even if you haven't read the earlier books in the series, you can still enjoy this fast, hot read. Caroline and Mitch are investigating the disappearance of a senator's daughter - which isn't easy when Las Vegas is so full of secrets and unsavory characters.

I loved Caroline and Mitch's banter, innuendo and heated encounters. Even when they're not supposed to be seen as knowing each other, they can't help but be drawn to one another. And they certainly have trouble toning down the fire burning between them.

I love reading novellas this time of year - with everything so busy, it's nice to have a quick, sexy read that has enough action to keep my heart pounding...but doesn't take a long time to read. This story has action, excitement, heat and even a little romance. If you love your romance novellas sexy and snarky, you should definitely check out Undercover Justice by Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano.

I received a copy of this book for review purposes, but that does not influence my review. My review contains my honest opinion of the book.

This was a cute fast read almost a novella that I really enjoyed. I was able to read it in one sitting and since I had read all the other "Justice" books, I enjoyed getting back to this series. If you have not read any of the other books, this is still a good standalone. The story is about 2 undercover agents who used to work for the FBI but now work for the Justice Company. They are partners who are in love but have no urge to marry. Caroline's mother is trying to push the couple to have a wedding. As undercover agents they are sent to Las Vegas to find the missing daughter of a Senator. And of course, all sorts of action ensue!

As I said, this was a run read. Thanks to the authors, Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano for allowing me to read this ARC for an honest review!

I loved this book! If you are a fan of the series, you'll want to snatch this one right up. It puts Caroline in the compromising undercover position of auditioning for a reality tv show. Knowing Mitch as she does, she fudges on the details just a bit. Mitch snoops out the truth and what follows is intense as he puts Caroline on the spot. Somehow they continue working to solve the case of the missing girl and addressing their relationship.

This is a must read for fans of the series. If you're on the fence, you need to read it for the ending alone. Any fan of romantic suspense will enjoy this book. While it is a stand alone novella, you really owe it to yourself to read them all.

The Senators daughter is missing!!! She needs to be found
without any publicity.
So Caroline Foster of the Justice Team is going undercover
in "Sin City" on a tv reality show.
How will her partner Mitch Monroe react to this assignment?
Caroline is not being upfront about her assignment with Mitch.
Will they be able to overcome the situation and find the missing girl?
This is a short, romantic suspense with sizzling gusto that
keeps you reading in one sitting. The novella flows effortlessly.
The characters are cleverly crafted. You will definitely enjoy this
short read.
Thank you to the authors for the eBook. My opinion is my own.

We previously met Mitch and Caroline in Cheating Justice. Now with this novella we get a bonus story for them. Things start off very rocky for these two. They have some stuff to work out, but soon find themselves thrown into a new mission. Can they work together or will personal issues tear this dynamic duo apart? Good old Mitch and his sarcastic self with those t shirts. Then kick ass Caroline. Can't tell you how much I loved revisiting these two. As a fan of the series and a fan of romance this book satisfies.

What could be more fun than Mitch Monroe in Las Vegas? Add in a Reality TV dating show, an undercover assignment, a missing Senator’s daughter, a lie or two, a few sleazy men, a date drug, and a very Hot Caroline in stilettos, and you know this storyline has has all the making of an intriguing and sexy book except it’s not a book. It’s a novella, and as a novella, it is just too short to really develop any true suspense or in-depth undercover work. With that being said, it is a “Must Read” for fans of Mitch and Caroline. The ending makes it worth paying for this novella.

This is the first book I have read by these authors and I totally loved it. Wonderful characters with wonderful humor that kept me laughing throughout the story. There were even a time or two when I said OHHHHHHHHH oh my. The authors give you strong alpha characters you will love as they take on the bad men bring a few to their knees. We have guns drawn and you might get a chuckle where one gets a bullet. This is a short fast pace read even with not reading the other books in this series I never felt lost. The authors give you all the information you need to totally enjoy this read. After reading this you will want to go back and read all the ones you have missed.

The book starts out with sarcasm and humor which is the pace throughout. Poor Caroline is given an assignment which gets her in hot water with Mitch. I guess it is pay back since Mitch is in hot water with her. I loved this character with her smart mouth and her kick butt attitude she is a big winner in my book. There wasn't anything I didn't like about her as she takes on the world bring down one criminal at a time.

Mitch is just a sexy alpha male I did feel sorry for him and the way he found out about Caroline's assignment that sure was a shocker. He does seem to get his self into and out of some real big messes. That sexy smile of his seems to work magic as his temper gets out of control which gets him in hot water.

These two burn up the pages as they hit Vegas in the hunt for the missing daughter of a US Senator. You can feel the love they for each other come right off the pages. They work great as a team and that shows throughout the read as the reader is taken to a place in their minds where they can picture the scene as it happens. They get into a few tight places which could go either way as they fight the battle of what they have to do to get the Senators daughter back but will it be to late by the time they find her? Mitch isn't liking it that his women is deck out in clothes that do not even half cover her body. He must come to terms fast or wreck the mission.

These two author come together giving a lot of thought to the plot they have written. This was an outstanding read that will keep the reading laughing throughout. The author writing blend well together giving the reader a treat. This was a story I read at one setting needing to know just what happen and who will be left standing in the end. The ending was outstanding as it left me with a smile done only in the true style that you have come to know as Caroline and Mitch. If you are looking for a highly entertaining, hilarious read you have found it. This is one of those books I highly recommend.

It was so much fun to jump back into the world of Caroline Foster and Mitch Monroe!

I thoroughly loved every minute I spent reading this novella. Caroline and Mitch have moved comfortably into their jobs with the Justice Team, though in their personal life Caroline's mother is making things a little less-than-comfortable with some not-so-subtle hinting about wedding planning. Mitch loves Caroline, knows she's "it" for him, but is equally convinced that marriage just isn't an option.

I know. Men.

Their personal controversy gets put on the back burner, though, when their boss--and Mitch's best friend, Grey--gives Caroline a new assignment: go undercover at on a Vegas-based reality show to find a senator's daughter who has disappeared. Mitch, who first wasn't supposed to go and next wasn't supposed to show up on the set, is dragged into the show as well and then the sparks start to seriously fly. These two can always be counted on for great banter and steamy scenes, but throw in a skanky wardrobe (for Caroline) and some sleezy guys to get Mitch's jealous streak going? You've got gold.

So much fun to read. Naturally, they get their guy and save the girl--and maybe get a bonus event in there somewhere too. You'll have to read it to find out, though ;)

Undercover Justice is part of the Justice Team series. If you've read the others (especially Mitch and Caroline's story, Cheating Justice ) you'll love this addition. If you haven't, it should still work well as a standalone--though the fun, sexy writing style and characters will definitely have you adding the backlist to your TBR pronto!

The Justice Team is a secret agency run by the FBI under the direct command of the American President. Mitch Monroe and Caroline Foster are part of the small team of elite agents. Mitch and Caroline love each other, they’ve been a couple of a while, but they are forever bickering, and now more than ever since Mitch refused to have dinner at her mother’s recently. And Caroline’s mother got it in her head that they should marry. They usually work as a team, but when their boss asks Caroline to work alone, Mitch opens his big mouth and the bickering escalates further. Eventually Mitch accompanies Caroline on their mission in Las Vegas: a Senator’s daughter, who was a contestant on a matchmaking reality show vanished, Caroline must take her place, while looking for her. However, the always very professionally-dressed agent had not counted on the fact that she would be made to look like a showgirl, which does not please Mitch. At all. And it is not exactly the best environment to be for commitment-phobe Mitch!

UNDERCOVER JUSTICE is the latest from Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano, and although it is part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone. UNDERCOVER JUSTICE is very fast-paced, and the characters of Caroline and Mitch are very well-fleshed out. Mitch is rather volatile, while Caroline is cool, calm and collected, until he pushes her buttons; she’s a really tough cookie. The relationship really works though, because they obviously love each other; I was reminded of old screwball comedies starring Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy. UNDERCOVER JUSTICE is a fun and entertaining read!

Undercover Justice A Justice Team Novella By Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano.
This one is a must read if you love the Justice Series books. It is a sweet story and ties up some loose ends for Mitch and Caroline.
Caroline has been Mitch Monroe's partner for ever but right this moment she is tempted to shoot him, so when her boss Grey calls her in to a private meeting and hands her an assignment just for her it is just what she needs. A undercover assignment in Vegas without Mitch.
Mitch is not about to let Caroline handle this assignment without backup no matter what she thinks or says. Fortunately Grey gives in and agrees that she should not be on assignment alone, since it does break the rules. No one handles assignments without backup.
A Senators daughter has gone missing in Vegas after auditioning for a T.V. show, Grey has promised that he can look for her without alerting the media. Caroline is going undercover on the same show that the senators daughter auditioned for so that she can find retrace the daughters steps and hopefully find her before the media gets wind that she has gone missing.
Mitch is not happy when he finds out what type of show Caroline will be on nor is he happy with all the attention that the men on the set are giving to Caroline.
This one is fast paced, and full of humor and action. Another five star for another fantastic Justice Series book.

Loved the book!

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

Great book! By coincidence, I have read all of the Justice Team series by Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano, but this is the first one that I had to write a review on. I have also read several of Adrienne Giordano’s books, and the ones I read so far were excellent. I loved the characters of Mitch Monroe (Captain Sarcastic) and Caroline Foster, and the book is intriguing, with some humor, and romantic suspense. Not only are Mitch and Caroline partners with the Justice Team, but they are also lovers. Caroline was asked to do an undercover assignment as a bachelorette in Vegas to find a senator’s daughter. Caroline will be taking the place of the missing senator’s daughter for a hot reality TV show, but she does not want Mitch to accompany her because she knows Mitch will not be able to play by the rules and let some guy fondle and gawk at her. While in Vegas, Caroline does not confide in Mitch what she will be doing while on the assignment. Will Mitch be able to play by the rules when Caroline participates as a contestant? Will Mitch be able to forgive Caroline for not confiding in him and will this cause trust issues in their relationship? Thank you Misty and Adrienne for writing a great book!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, murder, suspense, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Stealing Justice (Justice Team, #1)
Cheating Justice (Justice Team, #2)
Holiday Justice (Justice Team, #2.5)
Exposing Justice (Justice Team, #3)

This is Caroline and Mitch’s story. Caroline is going undercover on a reality tv show. Mitch is having none of it he is her partner and lover. Either they will become even closer or this just might be the one case that rips them apart. Caroline has a role to play and does not think Mitch would approve so she starts keeping secrets. Can they overcome the relations issues to solve the case? Which normally these two work well together this is not working. Mitch does not want his woman parading around in front of other men looking for a so called husband. He might just destroy the mission if he can’t figure out a solution to his problems.

I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from these authors.

Caroline and Mitch make everything exciting, so it was great to get another story about them. They are fiery, passionate, and bad-ass. Watching them spar back and forth with their words and actions makes for a great story itself, but there was also a phenomenal plot as well. I was on the edge of my seat wondering what happened to the Senator's daughter, and who was responsible. The sleaziness of some of the characters had me guessing, and I loved that. Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano write some of my favorite characters. They practically jump off the pages, and I'd do anything to hang out with them in real life for one day. I love how they make it is easy to envision the smiles, the smirks, and even the anger and sadness. I even applaud them for making the creeps give me the heebie jeebies. It's not easy, but they seem to do it flawlessly. Undercover Justice was another great addition to the series. If you are new to it, then this short story is a great way to try it out, but be warned. You will most likely want to get your hands on the others as well. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Undercover Justice by Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano is book #3.5 in their Justice Team series and was a fun novella to read. I wouldn't recommend reading this one without having read Cheating Justice which is Caroline and Mitch's story.

Caroline and Mitch are off to Las Vegas to track down the missing daughter of a Senator. The daughter was a contestant for a reality TV show but has now disappeared. Mitch doesn't know all of the details to the operation and Caroline hopes to keep him in the dark. This does not work (of course) and there will be some soul searching done by both Caroline and Mitch. I do love Caroline and Mitch together. They are so much in love with each other but their are times it would be hard to tell with their snarky banter. However, the banter always makes me laugh and they are a great team on the job.

A few twists and turns, a lot of snarky banter, a little action and an HEA. A perfectly enjoyable quick read. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Caroline Foster is a member of the Justice Team. She's not afraid of anything. Finding a Senator's missing daughter is going to tax all her skills. Caroline has to go undercover as a contestant on a reality show. Having to pretend that she's a vapid airhead desperate to find a husband is way to much! Her partner is Mitch Monroe, her lover. This assignment will make or break their relationship. Watching Caroline and Mitch do battle is amazing. They are well matched. Both are stubborn and determined to get their way. I felt sorry for Mitch. He was blindsided by the assignment and hurt that Caroline didn't trust him, but I understood why she didn't want to tell him. She was embarrassed by the role she had to play. I enjoyed this fast paced story. I love the characters and their snarky dialogue. Mitch was a perfect Captain Sarcastic. I want more Justice Team adventures. Please keep them coming.

How hot was this book? Hot Hot Hot I loved it. It is a fun, fast paced adventure. I wish it had been longer.
The chemistry between Caroline and Mitch is sizzling. Love all the bantering and sarcasm between them. Reminds me of my hubby and I. Life is to short to take things too serious.
When Grey takes Caroline aside and has her take a case to find a missing Senators daughter things really get fired up for Mitch. This case involves Caroline being a bachelorette on a sleazy reality show undercover. Mitch has a fit! Obviously he doesn't want all of these sleaze bags feeling up his girlfriend. She tells Grey that she will do it only if Mitch can't go. This did not go over well for Mitch! Guess who shows up and not happy?
Will they be able to get over this awkward situation and keep their relationship intact?
Will they find out who kidnapped Megan before it's too late? This book is nonstop action and suspense. Don't miss it. It's a must read.

A quick, sassy read. The chemistry between Mitch & Caroline makes the book! They are fun and sexy together.

Caroline Foster is on her way to Vegas to take part in a bachelor dating reality show. Her boyfriend Mitch Monroe is along for the ride.
Members of the Justice Team, an off-the-books operation filled with former FBI agents among others, they are trying to locate the missing daughter of a US Senator who was a contestant on the reality show and suddenly went missing after partying with some of the bachelors. Caroline is going in undercover and Mitch is along as her back-up ... until he sees the get-up they have her in and finagles himself onto the show as well.

Will Mitch be able to keep himself in check as he watches man after man paw all over Caroline? Will they be able to track down the missing girl before it's too late?

Undercover Justice by Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano is the continued story of The Justice Team's Mitch Monroe and Caroline Foster that enhances the characters strong personalities, work ethics, and desire for some kind of life together.
Caroline going undercover as a contestant of a racy, sexy reality show in Vegas to look for a senator's daughter who has gone missing from the show causes trust issues between her and Mitch. Will this mission cause the end of their love or would it make it stronger.
Strong minded characters (stubborn?) makes for sparks flying from beginning to end.
Once again here is a story written with intrigue, suspense, and strong-minded characters that have you rooting for them to have a HEA for Mitch and Caroline.

Mitch and Caroline definitely are in love but the knock heads frequently. Mitch is not ready for marriage it's just not something he sees himself doing. Caroline would love to but she loves Mitch and knows he's not ready for that even though her mother is pushing for a wedding. When an opportunity to discover a senator missing daughter she will do what's necessary to find her. The problem she wants to go alone.
Mitch is in love with Caroline he can't see his life without her in it. So why does it tick him off that she wants to go this mission alone something is not right and he is determined to find out what. The problem it may be more than the relationship can take.
A passionate story with the right amount of suspense. Love these characters.

This is a fast-paced, fun, sexy read that kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I really love a strong female character and Caroline Foster is loyal, trustworthy, smart, beautiful, and my book heroine. She and her partner, Mitch Monroe, go undercover in Las Vegas as contestants on a reality show after one of the bachelorettes, who also happens to be a senator's daughter, disappears. The captivating plot includes humor, action, suspense, mystery and sexy romance. I really like the Justice Team and didn't want the book to end. I look forward to reading more from Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano.

Great Book!
This is a great book; this is the fifth book in The Justice Team series by Adrienne Giordano and Misty Evans. Mitch Monroe is a member of the Justice Team; his partner is Caroline Foster a sexy FBI sniper. They get sent on a case to Sin City, Caroline goes undercover as a contestant taking the place of the senator’s daughter on the hottest reality TV show of the year. Mitch can’t handle all the bachelors throwing themselves at Caroline so he finds a way to become a bachelor on the show. If you are looking for a great romance with suspense then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to the next book by these wonderful authors.
