Cuando empecé este libro tenía cero expectativas por las malas críticas que leí.
No iba a leerlo pero me encontraba en un estado agotador. No podía leer porque tenía mucho trabajo, tenía que leer un libro a fuerzas porque me metí en un juego del cual no logro engancharme y nada mantenía mi atención. Por eso solo esperaba algo corto y que no fuera pésimo. Esto fue lo que encontré en su lugar.
Hay tantas cosas mal en este libro que no puedo ni explicarme.
Pero es muy muy raro. Porque a pesar de todo, el libro me gustó.
Odié que ella fuera así.
Odié las frases machistas y escenas más machistas aún.
Odié las tonterías del protagonista
Y sobre todo odié que me gustara tanto.

Pero me gustó. Me entretuvo y me hizo disfrutar de todo el conjunto. Estoy vuelta un lío tremendo porque mi cabeza me dice que debería odiar este tipo de libros donde los hombres ponen a las mujeres por los suelos y las utilizan. Pero es que ME GUSTÓ. Me gustó como se enamoraron sin darse cuenta, me gustó que el dejara de ser tan CA... canijo. Me gustó que cambiarán los dos y toda su historia de amor.

Bad Boy´s Baby es el primer libro que leo de Sosie Frost y narra la historia de Leah y Jack.
La primera vez que lei la sinopsis de este libro me llamo tanto la atencion que lo añadi a Goodreads sin pensarmelo demasiado, no fue hasta hace un mes o asi que me plantee la idea de borrarlo de mi lista, sobretodo despues de haber leido varias reseñas que decian lo malo que era, aun asi habia algo que no me dejaba eliminarlo, ahora me alegro de haberle dado una oportunidad, ya que realmente no fue una mala lectura.
Obviamente no es la historia perfecta, ni tampoco es demasiado sorprendente o inolvidable pero fue una novela divertida, entretenida y muy agil de leer. Es la clase de libro que te gusta aunque sabes que lo que ocurre en la historia es inverosimil, incoherente y un tanto absurdo, aun asi consigue engancharte y que pases por alto determinadas situaciones.
Quizas no estoy siendo objetiva, pero no pude evitar pasar un buen rato mientras leia la historia de Jack y Leah, por lo que no me siento culpable al ponerle las tres estrellas xDD.

Omg! I loved this book. It is the first one I've read from this author and I have to say that I love her work!!!
Jack Carson is a very famous football player. He is practically a celebrity. His scandals are many and not easy to cover. It doesn't take long for a new indiscretion to nearly wreck his career.
That is when Leah comes in and tries to cover for him. She represents him and now she has to help him out of another tricky spot.
But Jack has other plans and they all involve Leah. He needs a fake girlfriend and then later, a baby to prove that he is a changed, responsible man. His plan to make sure he is not kicked out of the team is risky but will Leah take the chance? Can a bad boy ever change?
I LOVED the storyline. It was refreshing and entertaining. The banter between Jack and Leah was fantastic and their chemistry scorching hot. I loved how the author wrote Jack. He was endearing and wicked all at once!!!
The writing was excellent and the romance smoldered!
Do not miss this book. I totally recommend it.

Not for safety group.
So I read these books (Bad Boy's Baby, Revenge and Bridesmaid) for research purposes. Only one out of the 3 were safe. That's Revenge.
The other two were safe once the hero and heroine hook up. Before they are intimate they knew each other.
In this one they only interacted during work and barely even liked each other. Not quite enemies but not friends at all.
I did see major major redemption in this manwhore Jack . He really stole my heart when he fell.
Too much ow issues before they hook up left a bad taste in my mouth but the rest was pretty good.

Ok primero que todo tengo que decir que mis expectativas eran muy altas con este libro, antes de leerlo. Llevaba mucho tiempo esperando para leerlo.... yyyy no fue lo que esperaba. Déjenme y les cuento por qué:
1. Al comienzo es muy incongruente, Leah sale diciendo que él no le gusta, que lo detesta y bla bla bla e inmediatamente como que cambia de opinión, se la pasa babeando tanto por Jack que parece idiota como si se hubieran fundido sus neuronas. Eso por supuesto q no me gustó... es como si los POV no fueran honestos con el lector, me sentí engañada....
2. Por Dioss!! esta autora SATURÓ el libro con tantas escenas de cama, que se me hizo insoportable y en un punto hasta un poco aburrido.... cuando pudo haber desarrollado más la relación entre Jack y Leah, que déjenme decirles no entendí en q momento se ENAMORARON ¿?... todo el bendito libro lo pasaron acostándose (Se que estoy exagerando no fue TOOODO el libro... pero casi lo sentí así)
Si hubiera desarrollado otros aspectos de la historia le hubiera dado mas estrellas.
Y solo le doy 2 estrellas porque el discurso final de Jack: SÍ me gustó (creo que fue lo único). Por lo menos se vio un poquito que Jack estaba madurando... ya que durante casi todo el libro me pareció algo: inmaduro, irritante, arrogante, déspota y para nada humilde (Cosas que por muy bueno que este el tipo, osea mija, le quita total atractivo, es difícil entender como te puede gustar así... pero bueh esto al final de todo es ficción así que vamos a dejarlo así)

Bad Boy's Baby de Sosie Frost
Argumento:

La estrella profesional y mariscal de campo Jack Carson tiene la peor reputación en la liga. Es arrogante y hermoso, y si no está en la cama con una mujer nueva, está durmiendo después de la fiesta en la celda de una cárcel.
Pero ahora ya se ha metido en problemas muchas veces y necesita mi ayuda para proteger su carrera. Como su publicista, he escondido sus sucias hazañas y silenciado los sexys rumores... pero perdí el escándalo más caluroso del año.
Al parecer, Jack y yo estamos saliendo.
Cuando el puto le miente a la liga y clama que estamos en una relación
comprometida, pone en peligro nuestros trabajos. No puedo confiar en el tatuado chico malo, pero ahora estoy atascada en defenderlo. Tengo que hacerlo parecer respetable, no importa qué.

Mí humilde opinión:
Este era un libro que tenía en pendientes de Romance contemporáneo. Primera vez que leo a esta autora y no es la primera vez que encuentro héroes imbéciles en libros pero el que aparece aquí se lleva el primer puesto en mí lista de los peores.
Sobre la historia... Tuvo un comienzo realmente horrendo. Entiendo que la autora quería dejar en claro que Jack era un chico malo, me encantan los hombres confiados y arrogantes, pero la manera en que lo hizo aquí me hizo odiarlo para siempre.
Me preguntaba cómo una persona tan enamorada de sí misma que no le importaba un carajo nada podría cambiar, ummm eso sería interesante de leer! Sin embargo, no fue así.
A él se le ocurre meter en sus problemas a Leah, su publicista, le dice a todos que es su novia y que está en una relación comprometida para que no lo echen del equipo de fútbol en el que juega. La pobre Leah está asombrada pero lo acepta porque seria todo una puesta y no quiere perder a Jack su mayor cliente.
Sentí que el egoísmo de Jack no tenía límites, no se disculpaba, todo lo que hacía estaba bien para él, usaba a Leah para dar buena imágen. Y eso quedó claro cuando le propone que tenga un bebé hasta le pagará por eso. A esas alturas yo estaba alucinando por todas las tonterías de este tipo!
Y Leah, en serio? Creí que le plantaría cara a Jack, supuestamente ella era inmune a sus encantos, decía que él no le gustaba pero de repente esta mujer le acepta todo y muere por sus manos en ella!
Esperaba ver a Jack cambiar pero se mantiene igual durante la historia, no aprende de sus errores, los comete hasta el final del libro, solo ahí parece hacer click y cambiar, de repente se da cuenta que está enamorado.
Y el punto de todo no era que Jack logre firmar el contrato de fútbol luego de 'limpiar' su imagen? Se pone de novio con Leah y hasta la deja embarazada, para qué? Esto al final no logró nada así que sentí que todo era tan estúpido e inútil. Dios, se volvió repetitivo, no le encontré ni pies y cabeza a sus peleas o justificaciones. Si la idea que se pinchen el uno al otro debía ser sexy o divertida, no lo fue para mí, solo quería pasar página.
Hubo mucho sexo y en ningún momento vi la conexión romántica entre los protagonistas.
Leah me gustó, me pareció inteligente y tenía metas en la vida, una de ellas era el deseo de ser madre. No vi nada de malo con tener planes y me gustó que luego se vaya saltando. No entendí cómo se permite enamorarse de alguien como Jack, su exterior era atractivo pero su actitud y acciones no, así que no entendí cómo podía gustarle una persona así.
Y me quedó claro que Leah era de color, me pareció tan de mal gusto describirla como: moca, chocolate etc
Jack no me gustó OBVIAMENTE, a pesar de la triste historia de su hermano menor que murió de leucemia y que donaba fortunas al hospital, que a su modo se preocupaba por Leah y se involucró con su embarazo... No me creí nada de eso. Con tantas cosas malas y que seguía siendo un asno, egocéntrico, arrogante, egoísta, machista y más, seguía considerando su mejor amigo a alguien que agredió sexualmente a una mujeres y nunca lo ponía en su lugar cuando este llamaba zorra a Leah. Así que no pudo llegar a gustarme él y no pude creer en su cambio de mente, a pesar del lindo discurso que da al final. Fue todo muy rápido y no vi el preceso.
Hubiera sido una linda historia de amor si se viera una crecimiento en los personajes principales, más interacción además de sexo, pero solo lo vi en Leah.
La idea de la historia era buena pero no me dejó feliz. Seguí leyendo para ver si mejoraba pero fue no solo difícil de seguir sino que el protagonista masculino no dejaba de molestarme.

I've read the negative reviews regarding the first chapter and I'm glad I disregarded them. Perpetual party bad boy Jack Carson is on a continuous ride of non-stop bad, bad behavior geared toward imbibing lots of booze and sleeping with floozies with (IMO) loose morals and low standards. Leaving the nightclub with a foursome in mind, Jack gets into a car accident and he garners bad press once again -- though the accident is not his fault. Management has had enough of his bad boy ways and are intent on trying to get rid of him. But Jack has something to prove, he wants to win the Championship Game that eluded him and his team the previous year. So with that in mind and to try to rehabilitate his image, he tells management he has a girlfriend and much to the chagrin and reluctance of his publicist Leah Williams, she's now his pretend girlfriend.
To try to further improve his image, Jack decides that he should become a father and Leah should be the mother of his baby. For him, to help his public image and for her -- it's all part of her life plan which got derailed by a cheating ex-fiance and her ex-best friend. Refreshingly so, this is not your typical baby drama where the Hero says, "oops I forgot the condom" with the standard "I'm clean" speech. No -- this couple consciously and deliberately decide together not to use birth control in order to make a baby. Faster than you can say ... boy or girl ... the bun is in the oven. And this is where we begin to see the metamorphosis of the trying hard to reform bad boy.

Dodgy start but it gets better.
When I downloaded 'Bad Boy's Bridesmaid' it came with two free reads 'Bad Boy's Baby' and 'Bad Boy's Revenge' after finishing 'Bridesmaid' I just continued on to 'Baby' and I have to say the start of this book was bad, so bad in fact I was reading it with my jaw literally dropped open but I couldn't put it down.
It's hard to even give one example since there were so many but the book opens with these lines:
'A party wasn’t a party unless I had two women begging to take me home.
And the fun only started when I agreed to f*** both of them.'
Jack is a professional quarterback, he's a conceited arrogant a**hole who has too much money and fame and the first part of the book makes incredibly difficult reading but I continued on and I'm not sure why I mean it's not as if I don't have a huge list of books to be read but I think I just couldn't believe how bad this/Jack was so I stuck with it and while it's a totally predictable read I ended up quite enjoying it.
Jack has been been in trouble one too many times and his publicist Leah can only do so much Jack's image needs to change, he needs a girlfriend and who better than Leah.

En primer lugar, ni sé cómo arrancar el derrape, mucho y nada para decir, creo que podríamos estar frente a una verborragia. Desde el momento uno, revoleé los ojitos. La otra opción que tenía, me sacó un virulento audio tan solo con leer su sinopsis. Hará cuestión de horas (para el momento que esto salga publicado puede que hayan pasado varias más), que terminé de leer el libro; ¡oops, no puedo soltar a los deportistas! Cabe recordar que mi última "reseña", también verso sobre un jugador de la NFL. Podría contarles qué sentí en modo cortito y al pie, trataré de no irme por las ramas; no se hagan muchas ilusiones. Previo a sentarme a escribir, pasé por Goodreads, busqué el libro y descubrí que hay otros con el mismo nombre, tres como mínimo. ¡Qué complicado es escribir cosas originales! Tendré un gran desafío, encontrar nuevas palabras para que no suene todo tan reiterativo. Vayamos al quid, por el amor de Dioh.
Sinopsis, santo recorcholis, ¿había necesidad de dar tantos detalles? Otra que nos da el gran resumen de lo que te vas a encontrar, deja poquito nada a la imaginación del lector. Chau misterio, un poco más y te cuenta de qué color es su ropa interior. La portada, entra en la categoría "zafaroli". Se notan que los tatuajes no son reales, pero bueh. Han sido testigo de los desastres que he traído a lo largo del año.

Comenzamos conociendo a uno de los mayores desastres que tiene la NFL. El arrogante, desafiante, presumido, entre otras cosas, de Jack Ass Carson; mariscal estrella de los Ironfield Rivets y golfo por excelencia. Un jugador en todos los ámbitos, con una pésima conducta fuera de la cancha. Muy consciente de la resistencia que genera su conducta. Varios se la tienen jurada, lo quieren fuera de ese bastardeado deporte, empezando por Frank Bennett, el presidente de la liga que busca darle una nueva imagen. Pero me estoy yendo, volvé, volvé... El niño bonito, no esquiva la perfección que tienen todos los papurris de turno, mucho menos la alergia por las relaciones. Solamente le interesa que su "mega banana" tenga buenas cabalgatas durante UNA noche y a otra cosa; no importa si son duetos, tríos, cuartetos. Escandaloso, rebelde(nunca hace nada malo, para él), millonario, amante de la competencia, mega tatuado (¿y el porqué de cada uno? Te la debo, che). El líder de la manada. ¿Quién lo frenará?
Su publicista. Ella es tan centrada, tan anti él (al menos eso es lo que se dice), la única que puede ubicarlo en la palmera. Planifica, cuidadosa y constantemente, sólidas estrategias para lavar la imagen de su máximo cliente. La señorita es ni más ni menos que Leah Williams, Kiss para él. Una ambiciosa mujer, centrada, despojada de prejuicios (sí, claro), aferrada a sus benditos planes. No te metas con ellos. Son el eje central de su vida. Sí, ya sabes lo que viene a continuación (predecible lo mío, ¿no?). Su belleza encandila hasta los planetas más alejados del sistema solar. Su cerebro, es más poderoso que una hoja fresca. Pero estimado lector, no se confunda, las apariencias casi siempre engañan. Una pena. Ah, es de color. La autora hizo demasiado hincapié en ese detalle, me pareció innecesario, mejor dicho muy mal trabajado. Doble ah, arrastra una gran espina: Wyatt.
Intensidad, locura, planes y contra planes, mentiras, cabalgatas por doquier y colorín colorado el final feliz ha llegado. Podría poner punto final acá, pero queda tan pobre. ¡Un poquito más! El libro arranca con él y sus compañeros, sus arrebatos de grandeza y estrella, sus proezas sexuales. Hecho que desencadena una nueva locura, excesos que podría costarle muy caro. Ni comprende que todo se puede ir por el granate. ¡Hola, arrogancia! Desesperación por parte de su equipo "resucitador de imagen", frente a las presiones y muy mala imagen que acarrea, y a él le surge éste invento, hay que salvarse el pellejo, orquestar lo que sea necesario. Su impertinencia y arrebato lo empujan a expresar a los cuatro vientos la gran mentira, una gran fabula para el presidente, su representante, dueña de la agencia, a Kiss y a toda la PeUTeA humanidad. ¡Tengo una relación, a muy largo tiempo! Obvio, ella no sabe dónde meterse ¡Una relación con Jack Carson, mi "casita" ya comienza a planificar el festín! Será de lo más reticente, tiene mucho para perder, pero la debilidad tiene cara de Jack Carson, y si sumas dos más dos... puede que le cuadre todo. Combinación de ambas necesidades, razón suficiente para dar rienda suelta a toda ésta fabula y química refrenada. Te favoreces, me favorezco y bailemos al son de las cabalgatas. Patente: Lo mejor que cabalgó en su vida, su todo. En constante deseo. ¡Comamos el chocolate!Demasiada información, déjale algo al lector.
Con unos personajes secundarios para el olvido. Su jefa, Jolene Algo, figura como un alma comprensiva, que siempre está para brindar ayuda, la palabra precisa. Se las da de buenas, pero salta a la legua que muere de celos y desea ella ocupar su lugar. Sus reacciones y comentarios son tan extenuantes. Es una come sesos manipuladora. Bien sabe el pasado y mayor anhelo de Leah, y juega a instaurar la inseguridad. ¡Con amigos como esos, mejor déjame sola!
"Conoces la reputación de Jack mejor que nadie. Sé que él debe ser divertido, pero nunca va a darte lo que necesitas".
El compañero de equipo y mejor amigo de Jack, Bryon Washington... un reverendo hijo de la chingada. Pedante. Presuntuoso. Sexista. Irrespetuoso, siempre buscando el problema, hasta tuvo un hecho delictivo que lograron tapar (y también quedó en la nada). Otro come sesos. Su representante, un NN sin mucha influencia. Está porque había que ponerlo. ¿Padres? Poco y nada sabemos de ellos, se los menciona al pasar, pero... cri, cri, te lo dejo a tu criterio. Me olvidaba del insoportable Ainsley Ruport, periodista deportivo con gran influencia sobre el presidente de la liga, y acérrimo enemigo de Jack. ¡Le dará más de un dolor de cabeza! Bastante intransigente.
El desarrollo y desenlace se va a dar entre cierta maduración de los protagonistas. Poco a poco su conexión se va a ir potenciando, y nace ese algo inexplicable. Que siempre estuvo ahí. Se revelan un par de cuestiones, las cuales quedan (nuevamente) en la nada misma. No hubo exploración. Así estarán durante todo el relato, avanzan, retroceden, luchan contra todos sus conflictos internos, y buscan brillar para el otro. Sin quemarse, imposible. Busca reflejar un proceso de crecimiento, pero nunca se sintió que sea en ambos carriles. ¡Me cuesta darle coherencia a lo que estoy escribiendo! Hablo a calzón quitado. En ningún momento pude sentir conexión con ellos. Con la extrema necesidad de ella de concretar su plan. ¡Por el amor de Dioh, 24 años. No 39! Ni siquiera con los satélites. La pedantería de él me sulfuró, las contradicciones de ellos me hartaron. ¡No cometo ni hago ningún mal! ¡Oh, culpa querida! Confesión de parte, pasé de largo varias páginas donde se desarrollaban las cabalgatas.Repito: Demasiada información, déjale algo al lector. Aflojen un poco, ni que estuvieran en un estado de puro alzamiento. ¡Cabalgar, cabalgar, que algo quedará! Sí, un bebé. Hay que seguir engañando; el motivo completamente egoísta, pensando para calmar las aguas. Argumentos tan pobres para justificar tal decisión. No me lo creí, no me gustó. ¡Incoherencias, mamu!
La autora intentó dar un poco de drama, pero ni sé qué fue lo que leí. Ah, sí... un romance contemporáneo plagado de reiteraciones, páginas y páginas con más de lo mismo, pero dichas con otras palabritas o en otro orden. La histeria colectiva me fue superior. Cada uno de ellos tienen su lucha interna, pero joder si los prejuicios de ella no son desquiciadores. Ni que fuera Miss Perfección. ¡Y si ordena sus ideas, muchachita! Miren, en simples líneas hay ABUNDANCIA, me es difícil de explicar. (¿¡No lo dijiste ya!? Sí, changos)
Sobre el final, parecía que íbamos a tener un momento de mucho dolor, pero no cunda. Todo pasa. Una mala fortuna, pero que tiene su explicación. Situaciones que darán lugar al epílogo. Ese que viaja unos meses en el futuro para que veamos la felicidad plena.
Hay que cerrar este intento de verborragia, digo reseña. Menos mal que era un cortito y al pie; es más fuerte que yo, sepan disculpar. Y me quedaron cosas por desarrollar: xenofobia, plantea el argumento de una forma muy light, lo minimiza. Me pregunto: ¿Piensa eso en la realidad? Un libro que no me gustó, que no recomendaría, no volvería a leer, plagado de clichés, machismos en su máxima expresión y un primer capítulo digno de espantar al lector. Con placer lo envío al baúl de los sin pena ni gloria. Probablemente podamos coincidir o no, pero acepto todas las discusiones que puedan surgir. ¿Algo para rescatar? Sí, que estén los POV de ambos. I hate the title of this book – really! But it’s sports-themed and football is involved so there was no way I could turn my back and walk away. Plus, the 99-cent price pushed me forward to one-click. Turned out to be a bit of a surprise and a good one at that.
It’s hot, steamy and the bad boy, Jack, takes some time to warm up to. At first I didn't think I would be able to forgive him his sins -- and he was an arrogant a$$. But on the other hand, Leah was a bit boring and needed some life breathed into her. And believe me, Jack had plans that definitely put life in the situation.
The trope where the bad boy athlete gets himself in a load of trouble and the front office gives him an ultimatum has been done time and again, but somehow this new-to-me-author presented the bail-out in a fun-to-read manner with a little twist. Told in both Jack and Leah’s points of view added a little more depth and appeal as well.

4.5 Bad Boy Stars!
I knew this book was going to be hot. I didn't know it would be so much fun. Leah is one of those straight-laced women with a life plan. Date, marriage, career, baby, etc. Jack is the bad boy of football and he wouldn't know a plan if it hit him in the face.
These two together? Absolutely fucking amazing. The sex is hot. And I mean hot. I could feel the chemistry and the tension amongst the characters--and not just with Jack and Leah. You could feel the tension between Jack and everyone around him. You could feel Leah's worries and troubles.
This is my first Sosie Frost book, but it will not be the last. In fact, I received a copy of HARD with the purchase of this book and I plan to read it soon.

It felt like a watt pad novel, which there is nothing wrong with that it just dampers the book a little for me. Besides the concept of deciding to have a child with someone who your not in a intimate relationship with for the purpose of improving ones reputation rubbed me slightly wrong. It redeemed itself by the end though. It was just a enjoyable read.

I really liked this. It was funny at times, extremely sexy. Sweet. So hot I was worried my Kindle would burst into flames. My first Sosie Frost book, but certainly not my last. A bit predictable but I still liked the story and writing style.

Let’s just get this out the way first: Horrible title and terrible blurb.
Now that that’s over, shall we begin?
There was a substantial amount of people who couldn’t even bare the sample, yet along reading the book to completion – I rather enjoyed it. Since I read a fair amount of New Adult novels I switched off my YA mode and switched on my NA mode – this is required – before reading this book. NA novels tend to have seriously cocky and egotistical hero’s that make you want to cut your eyes out from their constant noise of self-praise, and Jack Carson was no different. He’s an egotistical asshole. It’s irrefutable. He parties hard, thinks he’s God’s gift to women, and is a serious manwhore.
“It didn’t matter to me which pussy sat on my cock, just so long as they realized what a goddamned privilege it was to get fucked by me.”

Yeah. He’s not a very likable character at first, and you just wish he’d get hit by a car or something (your wish is granted). Personally, I found his God-Complex rather funny, for three reasons:
1. I knew it wouldn’t hold out throughout the entire novel
2. This book wasn’t meant to be taken too seriously
3. I know this is rather accurate of some professional athletes
There are a significant amount of athletes who feel as though they’re like mortal god’s because of the attention they get thrown their way, and Jack just fit that bill. (I’ve known a few college athletes, so I didn’t just make that up)

But, all that partying and whoring is coming back to bite him in the ass because he’s about to be suspended from the NFL. And this is how we meet, Leah, aka Kiss.
Leah isn’t timid, shy, nor does she take Jack’s shit, and being his publicist, this is crucial. She’s a spitfire that handled Jack as if he were anyone on the street, which is why I enjoyed her character so much, along with her drive and determination for her career in PR. So much so that she poses as his girlfriend for him to seem like the loving, supportive boyfriend for the cameras. This is where the story get’s better.
“What if I said that you were my type?”
“Is it supposed to be a compliment?”
“Well…yeah.” Leah smirked. My cock twisted. And she called me trouble.

Their chemistry is pretty great. It’s all sarcasm and beating down his ego with a bat, although it’s undeniable that he’s amazingly sexy and she’s beautiful, but they’re so wrong for each other.
“Leah had hips that shimmied, curves that bumped, tits that plumped, and eyes that would scold a man for ogling the most beautiful creature in the world.”

She’s an organized, sorta-control freak and he’s a go with the moment kind of guy, whose only ambition is to win the Superbowl. The attraction between the two is undeniable, but beyond that, What the hell is there to talk about?
“I wasn’t a complicated beast. I played professional ball for a living and was offered a million dollars to wear a certain brand of shoes. I had no real ambition in life except to win that championship ring.”

The relationship starts fast, still slow. Everything is all business except their attraction, yet they don’t do anything about it until much later (in the timeline not the book) of the story. And slowly you realize while Jack is cocky, he’s also kinda sweet and very funny. Not everyone enjoys the type of humor he has, but I do, it’s so confident and sure, but that’s just to show the world something that’s not true. You’ll come to love his character and the way he treats Leah because the things he does are so…genuine. He’s fierce to defend her even if that means losing his shit, and quick to laugh and joke. You see him grow and change to become something more than just a Bad Boy, but a good, strong man.

Soon enough they’re a happy couple; well, sorta-pretend couple.

But with a 3.5 rating there must be something wrong with it right?
Well, of course!
The idea, while cute, is really implausible. I know he’s a highly paid football player and he’s the top client, but if he messes this whole charade up you’ll lose your respect, credibility, and career. For someone as smart as she was it was a stupid move, even if it did make for a fun read. Which also leads me to her second moment of stupidity, agreeing to have a baby with a man you believe to be juvenile, whorish, and egotistical is baffling, even for a PR scam. What woman in her right mind would agree to a baby because it’s good for his image – I know she wanted a kid but it’s unfathomable. Plus, she was so young to be interested in having children. I believe she’s 24, which in my book, is just too young for kids, especially for a career woman like her.
There was also her having sex with him without protection....
She calls him a manwhore, and knows that he’s sleeping with half the city, yet she agrees to have sex with him without doing any type of test, or anything! This made me bump it down a half a star. Although

Once she found out she was pregnant, he said:
I held up the three home-pregnancy tests. “It’s true.”His smile only faltered for a split second. “That’s really gross. Drop those before you give me a kiss.”

Which was funny.
Overall, I did really enjoy this book. It’s short, sweet, and super funny. So please read past the first chapter, and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Let’s just get this out the way first: Horrible title and terrible blurb.
Now that that’s over, shall we begin?
There was a substantial amount of people who couldn’t even bare the sample, yet along reading the book to completion – I rather enjoyed it. Since I read a fair amount of New Adult novels I switched off my YA mode and switched on my NA mode – this is required – before reading this book. NA novels tend to have seriously cocky and egotistical hero’s that make you want to cut your eyes out from their constant noise of self-praise, and Jack Carson was no different. He’s an egotistical asshole. It’s irrefutable. He parties hard, thinks he’s God’s gift to women, and is a serious manwhore.

Yeah. He’s not a very likable character at first, and you just wish he’d get hit by a car or something (your wish is granted). Personally, I found his God-Complex rather funny, for three reasons:
1. I knew it wouldn’t hold out throughout the entire novel
2. This book wasn’t meant to be taken too seriously
3. I know this is rather accurate of some professional athletes
There are a significant amount of athletes who feel as though they’re like mortal god’s because of the attention they get thrown their way, and Jack just fit that bill. (I’ve known a few college athletes, so I didn’t just make that up)

But, all that partying and whoring is coming back to bite him in the ass because he’s about to be suspended from the NFL. And this is how we meet, Leah, aka Kiss.
Leah isn’t timid, shy, nor does she take Jack’s shit, and being his publicist, this is crucial. She’s a spitfire that handled Jack as if he were anyone on the street, which is why I enjoyed her character so much, along with her drive and determination for her career in PR. So much so that she poses as his girlfriend for him to seem like the loving, supportive boyfriend for the cameras. This is where the story get’s better.
“What if I said that you were my type?”
“Is it supposed to be a compliment?”
“Well…yeah.” Leah smirked. My cock twisted. And she called me trouble.

Their chemistry is pretty great. It’s all sarcasm and beating down his ego with a bat, although it’s undeniable that he’s amazingly sexy and she’s beautiful, but they’re so wrong for each other.

She’s an organized, sorta-control freak and he’s a go with the moment kind of guy, whose only ambition is to win the Superbowl. The attraction between the two is undeniable, but beyond that, What the hell is there to talk about?
“I wasn’t a complicated beast. I played professional ball for a living and was offered a million dollars to wear a certain brand of shoes. I had no real ambition in life except to win that championship ring.”

The relationship starts fast, still slow. Everything is all business except their attraction, yet they don’t do anything about it until much later (in the timeline not the book) of the story. And slowly you realize while Jack is cocky, he’s also kinda sweet and very funny. Not everyone enjoys the type of humor he has, but I do, it’s so confident and sure, but that’s just to show the world something that’s not true. You’ll come to love his character and the way he treats Leah because the things he does are so…genuine. He’s fierce to defend her even if that means losing his shit, and quick to laugh and joke. You see him grow and change to become something more than just a Bad Boy, but a good, strong man.

Soon enough they’re a happy couple; well, sorta-pretend couple.
“I finally erupted inside her, but she was the one who tore through my heart, beat at my soul, and rent every muscle that made me stronger, bigger, faster than my opponents.”

But with a 3.5 rating there must be something wrong with it right?
Well, of course!
The idea, while cute, is really implausible. I know he’s a highly paid football player and he’s the top client, but if he messes this whole charade up you’ll lose your respect, credibility, and career. For someone as smart as she was it was a stupid move, even if it did make for a fun read. Which also leads me to her second moment of stupidity, agreeing to have a baby with a man you believe to be juvenile, whorish, and egotistical is baffling, even for a PR scam. What woman in her right mind would agree to a baby because it’s good for his image – I know she wanted a kid but it’s unfathomable. Plus, she was so young to be interested in having children. I believe she’s 24, which in my book, is just too young for kids, especially for a career woman like her.
There was also her having sex with him without protection....
She calls him a manwhore, and knows that he’s sleeping with half the city, yet she agrees to have sex with him without doing any type of test, or anything! This made me bump it down a half a star. Although

Once she found out she was pregnant, he said:
I held up the three home-pregnancy tests. “It’s true.”His smile only faltered for a split second. “That’s really gross. Drop those before you give me a kiss.”

first i want to say im SORRY for those who started it and didnt GIVE a FUCKING chance BECAUSE OF THE START BUT ITS THEIR LOST!!! they WON'T ever realize what they missed , yes HONESTLY I HATED JACK , I HATE DOUCHE BAGS WHO THINK THEY ARE GOD GIFT FOR WOMEN.
there is books who enter your soul, there is characters who you instant fall in love but there is some you hate their guts.
And there is a tiny line between love and hate.
that was Jack for me, the character who slowly conquer my heart and changing my hate to love.
and that is the best book ever.
and sosie done it BIG!
When Jack Carson, who is the best player but biggest Trouble-Maker, is about to get suspend he come up with a plain who involves his PR lady, a fake relationship and a Baby and this plan gets complicated.
sosie made me running to hide in the bathroom because of my shakes and my tearful eyes and to fall in love with the teouble maker.
her characters full of life and depth.
they are funny, irritating and so touching.

From the beginning, I did not like Jack. I like strong, confident, arrogant men, but not this one. I felt his character was a little too raw and didn't offer anything that would redeem the way he was to make him likable. The story is a little all over the place and was hard for me to really get into it and it probably doesn't help that I didn't like the male lead...at all! (Did I already say that?). In short, it was written well enough, but it wasn't one of those both that left me with that 'ah', feeling.

This is my first book by this author and I read this book on Kindle Unlimited.
This was a good read. At first I really thought that Carson was an ass because he just kept messing up and letting Leah (Kiss) down. Then he grew up and made it work.
Worth a read!
