Jaclyn is an Idaho farm girl who grew up loving to read. She developed a love for writing as a senior in high school, when her dad jokingly said she was the next Dr. Seuss (not even close, but very sweet). She met her husband, Steve, at BYU, and they have six happy, crazy children who encourage her to keep writing. After owning a bookstore and running away to have adventures in Australia, they settled back down in their home in Utah. Jaclyn now spends her days herding her kids to various activities and trying to remember what she was supposed to do next. She has published six books in a year, and her mind is still reeling from the awesomeness. Her books include Ring of Truth; A Christmas Worth Billions; The Princess and the Prom Queen; Magicians of the Deep; the Luck series--Stolen Luck, Twist of Luck, Best of Luck, More Than Just Luck, No Such Luck, and Just My Luck, a novella; and Endless.

This was another cute read...Lance was just ok for me, I didn't grow to love his character, and Debra was way too sweet to him. The whole storage room/dress-up I thought was drawn out and I didn't feel the wow/chemistry in it and it ended up being a climax scene, go figure. Oh well...not my favorite of the series so far.

Silver Script Series:
Silver Script Set Books 1 – 7: Interesting. Heartwarming. Fun to read. Perfect with a cuppa. All the stories involve employees of the Silver Script, an advertising agency, with a gamut of friends and clients. The TOC needs editing: book titles are missing, but the links work correctly.

Ring of Truth #1 – I love this book! Ms. Hardy always writes a heartwarming story that keeps the reader captivated. There’s a romance in the works, suspense and plenty of humor. An innocent romance without the Hollywood life garbage that’s forced on us daily. The characters are lovable, with plenty of personality. The well thought out story line is interesting and there’s no stupidity formula common in books of this genre. Perfect for a relaxing time with a cuppa. 5*

A Christmas Worth Billions #2 - Heartwarming. A wonderful story about extremes appearance wise but with the same heart and values on the inside. Not all the characters were great, but I enjoyed this little jewel. 5*

Fashioned for Love #3 - Starts with New Year's Eve and it's Debra's turn to find romance. Sad with some of the events, but heartwarming just the same. One of my favorites in this series, but I didn't care that the feminism is too strong. It's a business dinner, not a date and she's mad because he pays, business, duh. This is after he held the door and her chair for her. Then women wonder why men have no respect for them anymore; but "modern" women don't have respect for themselves, anyway. It was hard to put down, but luckily, the story was fast paced. 5*

Change in Harmony #4 - I had a problem with this story. There was too much drama from the main female character and the story became, for me, difficult to get through. But the story ended well for all involved. Worth reading. 4*

Another Chance for Love #5 - Another fun to read, heartwarming story. The story just flowed through the pages and the characters were likable, lovable and interesting. 5*

Love in Return #6 - What a dear story. Heartwarming and fun to read, this story just flew by. The characters were sweet, funny and very lovable. Another one of my favorites in this series. 5*

Waves of Hope #7 - Interesting quick but long distance romance. There's anxiety that has the main female character easily broken down, but the main character, once he understands, is very supportive and loving. Heartwarming story. 5*

This is one of my favorites in this series. They fall in love pretty quickly but at least it doesn't have that insta-love vibe. It just passes from attraction to interest to wanting to be a part of each other's lives rather quickly - which actually does happen sometimes.

I really liked how Lance was confident in his clothing design but kind of shy & awkward outside of it, so that Debra was such a great complement for him.

And I liked how naturally their relationship developed in that it had some conflicts but it wasn't all angsty and soap opera-ish.

The half star deduction is mainly because even though the ending is very good, the author tends to stop a tad abruptly before the happily-ever-after fuzzies have much chance to get warm.

Wow! This was a great story about two very successful people meeting and having an instant attraction to each other. Lance was a fashion designer and Debra was an executive in advertising. They met at a New Years party, danced and had a wonderful time. From a dinner meeting to discuss his account with her firm, to an actual date, to a serious accident involving Lance, and to someone calling Debra about the accident. That was the number Lance was trying to call,. They told her which hospitalize was in and was having surgery. She rushed there to him. Enjoy their time together and his recovery.

Debra and Lance meet and each is immediately smitten and begin to date. Awesome. Yay...
But.
Stuff, out of their control, happens and their relationship is sorely tested.

The story is well written and characters are well done. Side characters play an important role in the relationship of the main couple.

Sweet romance

I liked the story. It did feel a little rushed here and there, but it was a great story with a good ending.

I like that the books in this series give you little updates on characters from previous books. But it's not necessary to read the other books to follow along.

This is a sweet story about the romance between Lance and Debra. Because it is the third book in the Silver Script Series, I felt like I was at a bit of a disadvantage that I wasn’t familiar with the background between the characters. Several connections were alluded to and referenced. I recommend reading the other books first. That being said, I was able to enjoy this story and the characters. After the crisis, it was interesting to see how the relationship evolved between Debra and Lance. Debra’s gentle, selfless ministrations were inspiring. Lance is a gentleman, focused and cares about others. Most of all I enjoyed the natural development of the relationship with normal ups and downs and challenges. I also appreciated the family aspect, the love and support they gave each other. This is a book about friendship, teamwork, forgiveness, and love. I look forward to reading the other books in the series.

Sweet romance

I loved how they met and how fast things proceeded in their dating! She immediately became his right hand! They had been on only one date and they can move past that huge problem, but then have a smaller problem come up that's somehow a bigger deal? Then instantaneous forgiveness! Crazy!

A sweet, romantic story about finding love in the quick paced world of fashion and promotion.

Debra and Lance are at the top of their careers and starting on the path of a potential romance when Lance is in a terrible car accident. Will their relationship survive and become more than just a date?

A good, clean romance with a few twists thrown in.
