3.5 stars. This wasn't my favorite but they're still sweet. This book is about Amy and the girls trying to save a park from being built on. They start a petition, talk to the mayor, etc. about protecting the pollinators and the milkweed. In the end, the park is saved and we all learn a little more about pollinators and milk weed.
Amy loves nature and books. When helping to clean up the park one day she learns that they are going to take over part of the park and put in new stores, including a frozen yogurt store AND a new children's bookstore! She loves books but doesn't want the park to change. She has to decide if she thinks the park should be saved and how to save it. It is not an easy decision and lots of the other kids would love to have a frozen yogurt place close by but with her Critter Club friends they decide to see what they do to save nature in a place they love. Find out how they do that by reading "Amy on Park Patrol"!

My 7 year old daughter loves Critter Club and so do I. This CC didn't focus on a certain animal and I liked that it was different from the other CC books. It also educates kids about the importance of pollinators and wild spaces.
